"Beautiful place & a very warm welcome: we really felt at home!"

"A truly wonderful experience. This little house is beautiful. Yes, the ceiling in the bedroom is low - what one would expect in a house designated as historic. But the house has charm, comfort and character. The location is surprising. You look out over a well kept formal garden to dreamy church spires. It could be somewhere in the Dutch countryside. But, in fact, you are ljust a few minutes walk from the gourmet restaurants of the cozy village and about the same from the station with very frequent trains to nearby Amsterdam and Schiphol. The hosts are exceptional, discrete, respectful of one's privacy but also, if invited, very friendly and helpful. From the fresh fruit, wine and candles of our arrival to our teary farewell, an exceptional experience!"

"Weesp is beautiful, sleepy town, filled with charm and character. The House sits on a very quite side street and is very close to the town centre and the train station. The town has a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as a good range of shops. There are some lovely pastoral views along the river, including a couple of windmills. Weesp has an excellent and affordable rail service and we chose to make good use of it, despite taking our car. We visited several cities this way and generally found that the train stations were centrally located and in walking proximity to attractions. The owners were charming and helpful. They even made an appointment for us to take our dogs to the vets, for their "pet passport" requirements. The property is spacious and provides comfortable accommodation for couples. The bath is wonderfully deep and there is an endless supply of very hot water. The sitting room is both comfortable and elegant and is equipped with a TV, DVD and CD player. The kitchen has two rings as well as a microwave and fridge. It is tiny and, consequently, most suited to making breakfast, rather than a main meal. The only down side, from our point of view, was the bedroom area. My husband is six feet, three inches tall and, as such, was not able to fully stand upstairs, and banged his head on the stair way. This one, small, problem did not stop us from enjoying our stay. Highly recommended! "

"We had a wonderful vacation and the accommodations in the Romantic Garden Cottage played a major role in our vacation experience. The cottage was wonderful and accurately described on the listing. The town of Weesp had everything we needed within walking distance of the cottage. This was a cycling vacation and an excellent starting point for all our adventures. The owners were outstanding and helped us with anything we needed. Our visit was the best and we are looking forward to returning."

"The cottage was better than the 5 star hotel we normally stay at in Amstardam and the owners couldn't do enough for us.The town of weesp is very quiet with a few very nice restaurants and bars but if you want nightlife Amsterdam is 15 mins on the train which goes 4 times an hour till about 12.30 am and the cottage is literally a 3 min walk from the station. We hired bikes during the day, this is a must the owners will sort you out with bike routes. Best Dutch weekend ever we have already re-booked"
