| "The property was very comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. We had a little trouble finding the villa on our arrival as it was dark and we were not familiar with the site.
The welcome pack was very good especially when arriving late at night.
We would have liked the towels changing mid-week but this was the only criticism.
A car is a neccesity as the villa is a long way from the village. We did use the bicycles on one occasion and made our way to the promenade and cycled into playa blanca.
The roof terrace is nice for sunbathing and the whole place was very peaceful. The pool area was deserted all week with only a handful of sun loungers which looked like they could do with a bit of a clean/re-furb. The onsite shop was good value for money with fresh bread available throughout the day.
Halfway through the week we had a blockage in the toilet and had to call our contact for help. Karen was very helpful and arranged for a local handyman to come out. The problem was bigger than expected and involved unblocking of the main sewerage pipe. Further work is still required by the community to fully cure the blockage problem.
We had 1 Night/Day of quite heavy rain and found that the villa was prone to flooding via the back/front doors and the front window which left large pools of water in the living area.
All in All though we had a good week and would certainly consider returning to this area.

| "Adequately looked after,with nice welcome pack and Sandra,villa manager,very helpful.Quiet location which suited us.
We could have done with clean towels half way through the week.
We did not hire a car because we wanted to walk everywhere,but for this purpose we found the villa was located slightly too far from the town centre.
Overall relaxing and enjoyable holiday."

| "Lovely villa. Very clean, comfortable and well equiped. The welcome pack on arrival (teabags, milk, bread, juice and wine) was a very nice touch, especially as we arrived in the evening and had thought we'd have to get up and find a supermarket first thing in the morning. The Shangrila Park complex is very nice with a huge pool, although I did spend most of the time on the villas lovely roof terrace. The only downside is that it is quite a walk from Playa Blanca centre so car hire is recommended.
Playa Blanca is a lovely resort - lots of nice bars and restaurants, but not too lively, so ideal for a relaxing holiday."

| "We had a great stay here. We were looking to wind down from our vacation, and this was the perfect spot to do it. The villa is well appointed and comfortable, and situated in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was where it was supposed to be, and the owners were very helpful to us as first time visitors. We would love to stay here again when we return to Lanzarote!"

| "Just back from a wonderfully relaxing week at Montana Roja. The villa was even better than we expected .It had all the little extras that make for a memorable holiday from the welcome pack to the beach towels provided.
The house was spotlessly clean in a very pretty location only a short drive from all the attractions of beautiful Playa Blanca."

| "Villa Montana Roja was absolutely perfect for Peter and I. The choice of Playa Blanca was really lucky as it is a lovely resort. The villa was really comfortable and had everything we needed. We spent hours on the roof terrace looking out across the sea to Fuerteventura. It was really convenient to hop in the car to get to the shops, restaurants and bars and very handy to be able to park the car so close to the villa. We hope to return, lots! B Threlkeld."

"Thank you so much for Villa Montana Roja. It contributed to a really enjoyable holiday. The villa is really well equipped and comfortable. We would have liked to have stayed and relaxed inside more, but the weather was so nice we just had to go out! I love the views from the roof terrace. Playa Blanca is a lovely resort. We can't wait to return.
