| "Casa Piedra was very well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. As well as being a welcoming place to come back to after a long walk in the mountains, it also had a well stocked library including maps, walking guides and books of local interest. We would definitely recommend it to friends and look forward to returning ourselves."

| "Casa Piedra is a very well-restored village house with bags of light and space, which is quite rare in the Alpujarra as traditional dwellings here, while very picturesque, can be pokey and dark inside. Berchules is a great village and the position of the Casa - almost at the very top - gives fantastic views and good privacy. I'd recommend both the village and the house to anyone who's happy to climb steep hills, drive narrow lanes and try using some Spanish in the local bars."

| "A well equiped house. lots of thoughtful details eq maps guides that would have been difficult to get in the UK and would have necessitated a wasted day tracking down there.Walking excellent. Views from house good."

| "The house was all we had hoped for. It was very comfortable and well equiped. The owners had thought of everything you might need for a stay away from home. The views were fantastic and the location ideal for some serious walking. When the only complaint you have is that your towels slip off the bathroom hooks - need I say more?!!"
