| "Patricija the owner met us from the airport and took us to the apt. where we were greeted with a lovely spread of food and her home made bread.The apt.itself was very clean with plenty of open plan living space and masses of out-door space,my husband and myself were on holiday with three teenagers but we all had enough room not to over-crowd one another.
The only problem that we found was that the apt. is suffering from a slight damp problem and you can smell a very musty smell in the two back bedrooms, also there isnt a very good view of the sea as suggested as there are two partially built buildings either side of the balcony but it isnt a problem.The apt. is quite a distance form the centre of Cavtat having to walk down three big hills which isnt the problem, its the coming back up again which I would imagine in the heat of the summer would be torture!! Not for the elderly or anyone with disabilities, but Cavtat is well worth the walking distance very tiny resort but beautiful. Patricija took us back to the airport for our departure and sent us on our way with a bottle of her hubbys home made wine. The apt. and Cavtat are well worth a look we would like to return again one day."

| "Very spacious both indoors and outdoors, with lovely peaceful sea views from the terrace. There is some building work going on in the area, but that went un-noticed by us, as we liked the place so much. Convenient for buses to Cavtat waterfront and Dubrovnik.
The owners, Patricija and her husband were so friendly and helpful, thoughtful gifts of homemade wine, chocolates and a meal on arrival, not to mention the visit to the museum in Cilipi. Lovely people.
We all agreed we would like to go there again and will recommend it to our family and friends.

| "The appartment is spacious, clean and tastefully decorated.
There is a large communal area with a kitchen and living area combined, which opens out to a terrace at the front and a garden at the back. The front terrace has a stunning view over the adriatic (although a couple of ugly halfbuilt buildings also visible). We were a party of six (parents, grandparents and two children), and this arrangement was perfect for us.
The owners of the appartment simply could not be nicer or more helpful. You will feel like you are staying at your friends place. They collected us at the airport, spent an hour telling us where to go and where to avoid, and were contactable for any queries throughout the week. I cannot explain how much this helped us get the most frrom ou visit. As a family, we were very reassured to know that if there was any serious problem (eg. a medical emergency), they almost certainly would have been willing to help.
When I casually mentioned a door handle was broken, the owner came to fix it immediately and brought a bottle of his home made wine (which is excellent - be sure to ask for a bottle!)
Cavtat itself is a great place to stay. A beautiful small town in itself, with a bus and a boat to Dubrovnik and most other places of interest. Unless you are planning hardcore exploring, I wouldnt waste money on car hire. We hardly used our car. Theres a bus stop 5 minutes walk away and also a reasonably stocked mini-market the same distance where you can get most of your food. Also, the owners will pick you up at the airport which is only a 10 minute drive away.
Theres a small market in town every morning where you can buy fresh fish, meat and vegetables.
It has a DVD player which was great for the kids."

| "The appartment is spacious and very well appointed with everything you need for your holiday. The location was excellent for us, a short drive from the airport and on the edge of the beautiful village of Cavtat. The sun terrace has beautiful sea views up the coast and amazing sunsets and our children loved the garden with its fruit trees and terraces.
We were extremely well looked after by the very friendly appartment owners. You will get the most out of this holiday if you hire a car as there is so much to see and do within the area."

| "The property was good - roomy and comfortable. What made it special was the attitude of the owner, Patricija - nothing was too much trouble - an excellent meal when we arrived, a nice bottle of their own wine later in the week. and obvious concern that we should have a good time. She was unobtrusive, but at the end of a phone if we had any enquiries, and did a brilliant job of getting us to the airport, in separate groups, at separate times."

| "With two young kids (4 & 5) and two Grandparents was great...big and great shaded garden area out back and huge terrace out front (they could run..the kids that is, not the Grandparents, of course!!!) twice as big as looks on the photo. I chose this appartment because of a good feeling after reading the comments of previous guests...I made a good choice. The owners are extremely, extremly helpful and kind...gave loads of info , organised taxis for us, trip ideas...just amazing! Cavtat is lovely. We always walked down and caught the bus up the hill (regular bus) as is quite a trek when hot (heatwave when we were there!!) Good connecions for elsewhere (with the boats check exactly what their route is and what time you will arrive where you are going as they tried to con us once or twice!). We did a day in Montenegro (Kotor) which was also amazing. The only "slight" negative point of the appartment is that there are a few half built buildings in front...you still see plenty of the sea but the buildings (one of which will soon be finished and the other soon to be knocked down - so wont be a issue!) were a bit ugly and gave us a bad "first" impression but you soon dont notice them! New cooking pans could be useful! The shower room (out back) was leaking but owners very reactive and have apparently sorted it out. If you are the type to go by feeling and look for space as opposed to mod cons, this is a very good option! BIG thanks to Patricija and the whole lovely family xxxx"

| "We had a great holiday, loved this apartment, which is very spacious, and Cavtat itself.
Patricija picked us up at the airport, and gave us the lunch she had prepared as the shops were shut - a thoughtful gesture. She also gave us lots of information about Cavtat and took us to see a Croatian play at a monastery one evening.
The apartment was clean, well equipped and the main balcony overlooked the sea. Cavtat was about 10 -15 minutes walk away which was fine for us, but part of the walk back was quite steep so may not suit people with mobility problems. However, there was a bus service and the supermarket was just at the end of the road.

| "Lovely, spacious apartment, very well equipped with washing machine, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, TV/DVD if you want it and fully equipped kitchen.
Patricija the owner could not have been more helpful or welcoming - collected us from airport and dro pped us off for return - and cooked us a typical Croatian meal during our stay.
15 minute walk to the centre of Cavtat, bit of a hill but nothing too taxing - one of our party was 67 and she managed it every day!
Would highly recommend these apartments."

| "Hospitality second to none, Patricia and Husband could not do enough. We had a small child in our party and were delighted to see suitable books, toys, videos, outside slide etc all specially laid on. We had problems with our e-mail before arrival and Patricia sorted everything including transfer via text.
The property itself is situated in a quiet residential area up a hill from the main town centre so good sea view from ample front outside space. It is not top end but is a good 3* and excellent value for money IMO.
On the hill it is doable in about 10/15 minutes and walks off the fantastic meals from the town. Its not really an issue if you dont fancy it as you can hop on the bus 10 for a stop for 5Kn.
Inside space ample, beds are enourmous, plenty of storage, kitchen has everthing you need, two bathrooms is a bonus, outside space also at the rear of property for BBQ etc.
Cavtat itself fully recommended, lovely place day or night although on some days the tour bus brigade take it over. Not one for the party animals amongst you and not a football shirt (apart from Croatia Euro 2008) in sight. Lovely relaxed feel.
On car hire we were there a week this time and found it not worth it, bus runs to Dubrovnic everything accessable from there. Advise you book ferries to islands rather than atlas travel who are expensive.
Last time when in Milini for 2 weeks we did car hire as you can get further still.
All in all great visit, love Croatia and the people and stayed in a superb property for the money.

just to thank you for your hospitality and for looking after us during our stay in your apt. We enjoyed staying in your property. It's high standard property, good position, walking distance to any spot, no need of car. Plenty of outside space, nice sea view and garden views, peaceful area, kitchen fully equipped. We loved doing barbecue in the garden and enjoyed our privacy. Thank you for baby cot, high chair, cartoons, toys and playground organized in the garden for our son. Excellent value for money. | "cavtat is a good base and uros apts. are up a steepish hill from the main town with sea view and nice breeze.
Accomodation as expected with plenty of outside seating areas.
Owners exceptionally helpful collecting and returning us to airport and familiarizing us with the property and area.
Car hire not essential but useful for 2 or 3 days to travel into montenego/bosnia.
Hill up from town testing for the unfit/elderly but only a 15 mins leasurely walk for the rest of us!!

| "We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Uros apartment. From the friendly pick-up at the airport to the delicious lunch provided for us on arrival, Patricija and Niksa could not have done more to make us welcome. We spent a fantastic evening with them, not only enjoying their hospitality, but also learning a great deal about the area. The apartment itself was spacious, well-furnished and beatifully positioned for a breathtaking view of the sea and glorious sunsets. We adored Cavtat, and will definitely return."

"The property was spacious and comfortable, however, it was perhaps a little basic in terms of the standard of bedroom furnishing and kitchen equipment. It is a shame that new building may block the view of the sea.
Cavtat was a beautiful place and the apartment was only 15-20 minutes walk away from the centre (the hill was quite steep though).
The transfers to/from the airport were perfect - on time and friendly.
Overall, it was good value for money - just be prepared for the hill!"

| "This apartment is perfectly located so that it is quiet for "down time" but perfectly situated to walk to restaurants, the ferry, shops, etc. (15 minutes)
It is huge, modern and immaculate and easily accomodates 5 with plenty of privacy.
The decks are gorgeous with lovely views and the owners couldn't have been more helpful.
I'd highly recommend it."

"If you are looking for budget accomodation in a quiet spot that is a 10 to 15 minute drive from "the action" then this is the place for you. It is small but very liveable.
Roads in Croatia are small and steep so the entrance to this property is challenging, as is the "walk" to the beach or into town. Expect to have to use your car and be prepared to walk 100-200 meters to where you have parked your car.
We spent most of our time exploring so it was the perfect spot for us.
Both the owner and the caretaker were most helpful."

| "The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed to make our holiday special. All the bedrooms were quite large, and one led out to the fantastic patio which was a lovely place to sit and watch the sun go down.
Patricija and her husband were particularly helpful by picking us up and dropping us off at the airport. She also insisted that we phone her if there were any problems. Happily, we had none."

| "The Uros apartment provided excellent value for money and we all very much enjoyed our stay. The accomadation is very clean and well provided for in relation to the kitchen. The air conditioning provided a welcoming feel on those hot days. The 2 bathrooms were also a benefit. Our host could not have been any more helpful and being picked up and taken to the airport was very much appreciated.
There is some building work going on in the area, but this did not affect our stay. Cavtat itself is a stunning location and the hill on the way home always helped us to walk off our dinner!
Overall a very good holiday was had by all."

"My wife and myself are thrilled with Uros apartment. We liked every single day in this apartment. It's close to any spot and very nicely furnished. "Myself and my family were very happy with Uros Apartments! We were met at the airport by a happy smiling host who then waited for us while we rented our car and we followed him to the apartment! The apartment was perfect for our needs, had everything we needed, except no bath or sink plugs! The apartment was also reasonably clean except for a couple things!
The situation of the apartment was perfect for us to, we could get to everywhere else quite easily!
Overall we were very happy with the apartment and would definately go again!
