| "A truly wonderful holiday in a truly wonderful house.
The location was ideal - a small hamlet with little going on. So peaceful. Surrounded by vineyards yet not that far from a great little town with its own weekly market.
The property was really well maintained with plenty pf room, good ambience and a true French kitchen which was just made for creating good food. The gardens were relaxing and the pool ideal for some decent swimming.
The owners live nearby and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, yet in no way intruded."

"unfortunaltely - the proprietor has claimed that we left the house in a dirty state which is TOTALLY inacurate and has claimed monies through the breakages deposit....you have been warned. I am left with a bad taste in my mouth regarding my holiday. Otherwise the place was beautiful and the home lovely....eventhough rather expensive."

Rather than remove a critical review, it seems better to address the issue raised as information for future renters. We ask that our renters leave the house as they find it-simple. Mr Comberti didn't, despite his protestations to the contrary, so I charged him for the extra cleaning which seems fair to me. There is, unfortunately, no other way to ensure payment of such a charge than through the damage deposit- note that it is called a damage deposit not a breakage deposit. I believe that the other reviews give a more accurate impression of our renters reactions to their stays at Les Tendoux.

| "This property is truly stunning. It is set in a magical location in the charming hamlet of Les Tendoux. The property is surrounded by rolling farmland with vineyards, horses and sunflower crops and there are many breathtaking walks in the direct vicinity of the house.
The property has been very tastefully decorated and furnished by its owners to a very high standard. What staggered us was how well equipped the property was and how the owners made sure that not one stone had been left unturned. The owners previously ran a very successful country house hotel in Kent and the way they have furnished this house is reminiscent of a luxury boutique country hotel (complete with complimentary Molton Brown bathroom products and fluffy white towels). We would definitely recommend a visit!"
