| "We have just returned from a weeks winter holiday at this lovely apartment. The apartment is superbly equipped. It is warm and homely, and always cosy. The setting is stunning, and I have never had a more peaceful and relaxing holiday. We had a wonderful time playing in the 18 inches of snow on the lake and in the surrounding hills. We did loads of sledging in the hills, borrowing the sledges and spark thoughtfully provided. It really was the Winter Wonderland that we had hoped for. The hosts, Tony and Lisa, were always helpful, but unobtrusive. We really hope to return one day, in the summer, to see this beautiful area in its summer splendour. Thank you for a wonderful week."

| "We welcomed in the New Year 2009 at Lake Lovlia and will never forget it. Wood burning fire, bbq and the stars to entertain us whilst sitting on the balcony listening to nothing but peace and tranquility.
Lake lovlia apt caters for everything and more. The owners Tony and Lisa could not do enough for us and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Tony took us ice skating on the lake and showed us many walks. We will be back again and again.... A truly special place to be...Thankyou"

| "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lovlia. The apartment is beautiful, extemely well equipped and very comfortable. The view is outstanding even on a rainy day! The hosts cannot do enough for you. We were able to phone for directions when we got lost and my husband had the use of Tonys boat on the lake which he enjoyed. A 10 minute drive from the pretty town of Risor and every corner you turn is yet another lake.
A wonderful place and wonderful people - would love to see it both in the summer and when its completely covered in snow in the winter.
Will definitely go back sometime."

| "A beautiful apartment, thoughtfully furnished and decorated. Very well equipped, especially to entertain children when the weather is poor.
Excellent hosts who are extremely helpful , welcoming and generous.
Great location by lakeside with loads of lovely walks and scenery within the immediate surroundings. Fantastically quiet. Great for relaxation. A fishing and stalking paradise ( my husband did this with a camera instead of the usual gun!)"

| "Løvlia is a superb base for adventure or simply to relax. Walking and fishing – and swimming for the brave – are the most obvious, but there’s much more. The sheer scale of the Norwegian countryside gives a sense of wilderness that’s not readily found in the UK: for example I was enjoying the solitude of a nearby lake only to be joined by an elk coming down to drink. Perhaps most relaxing, however, was simply sitting on the balcony of the cottage watching the changing complexion of the light over the lake and the trees.
Overall, Løvlia offers a great introduction to the Norway and Tony will go out of his way to help you make the best of your stay. I’d thoroughly recommend it for families, couples or singles: it’s a great spot!

| "Beautifull apartment in stunning surroundings with loads to do. We couldnt have been better looked after by Tony and Lisa, who made our honeymoon so relaxing and helped us with anything we needed but also gave us plenty of privacy. There isnt a single thing I would change, the perfect holiday!"

| "A well laid out apartment. With four adults in our party, it's large L shaped lounge/eating area and a room with internet access, enabled us to all find personnal space when we required it. The wood burner meant that we kept warm and cosy at all times.
The owner Tony was very pleasant and could not do enough for us.
Views from the lounge over the lake are stunning.
We would certainly consider another holiday here in the future."

The apartment was well appointed, spacious and comfortable, and the views and location were stunning. We particularly appreciated the use of the boats and fishing tackle, and Tony's enthusiastic knowledge of the area.
This is an ideal property for those seeking tranquility and a wilderness experience or as a base for touring.

| "The property is well located, a 8 minute drive from Risor,The living room/dinning room has
lovely views over the lake,Tony and Lisa are on hand if required and make you feel very welcome
, if not you never see them.Large living area, with nice patio, wide screen TV and DVD makes alot of difference, good kitchen, central location for day trips out and local advice off Tony on what to visit.
Thanks again, wish i was there now, hope to return in the winter one year to see Norway then.

| "The location is stunning. You definately need a car to get about.
The skiing was good still as the snow machine had been put on.
Kyla, our daughter ( 20 months) loved the toys you left for her to play with and the sweets for easter was an aded bonus. It was a perfect short break although lots of shops shut for easter - the norwegains do enjoy their holidays.
The chinese restuarant in town ( Risor ) was great and well worth a visit.

| "Norway was amazing and it was with much help to the place we stayed. The appartment is set very close to a beautiful lake and with only 2 families near by you really feel like you have the place to yourself.
Tony is a great host! Him and his wife made sure that we were at comfort at all time. They never intruded but were always there to help us with any queries we had. They also let us use their boat so we could do some fishing!
The appartment is immaculate and well furnished. Out on the balcony you have a great view of the lake which is only 5 minutes away. Behind the appartement you can walk into the woods and explore to find elks and many other wildlife! once you get to the top of a hill in the woods you can get a great views over the lake and the woods.
The appartment has many facilities - including flat screen TV and dvd player and a huge classic collection of dvds to keep you entertained in the cold nights! There is also an indoor and outdoor log fire and an outdoor barbeque!!
Overall a great holiday thanks Tony and your family for a great time and sorry for the late review! many thanks again Max and Sunita"

| "A very warm welcome, lovely accommodation, friendly and helpful hosts, amazing views and a really enjoyable holiday.
We really appreciated finding the basics (teabags, coffee, sugar, etc) already supplied, along with plently of wood and kindling for the stove. The hosts have really covered all the fine detail to ensure the property is a home from home.
Really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and great fishing nearby.

| "We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the apartment. The owners, who lived down stairs, were helpful but not intrusive. The apartment was tastefully decorated and had super views. The pictures on the internet did not do justice to the apartment. It took 3 hours to get into central Oslo and 2 hours into Kristiansand so be prepared to drive fairly long distances to visit attractions. Natural attractions are on your doorstep!!"
