| "A very good holiday in a Spanish part of Spain. The apartment was well catered for although several minor things needed attending to such as a broken DVD player. However, the description was accurate although several things had changed in terms of local facilities."

| "Excellent location with a large terrace to enjoy
morning breakfast and long evening dinners.
Good location for golf, long walks along the sea front and on to the nearby Marina.
The only concern is the pool in the complex is not available (open) until mid-June.
Silly comunity rules for English visiters that consider the months of May and June weather in Almerimar to be Summer time.
Everything you would need on holiday is available in the Pentahouse. AG"

| "It was a great apartment right on the beach, good size and very confortable and evrything you would need was there. The area was a little remote but enough bars and supermarkets nearby. Lovely views from the balconies of both the mountains and the sea. Would definitly recomend it, great value for money."

| "The apartment was so perfect for us, with the amazing balconies, to the cleanliness, to how well it was equipped (kitchen, beds, towels, even beach gear! Even the complimentary bottle of wine - a nice touch!). All that we needed to bring with us was our clothes and summer spirits! The underground safe parking was a great plus.
The town was amazing - we quite enjoyed the walks on the beach to the many nice beach bars as well as the marina with its infinite list of fine dining and attractions at night (we even caught up on our salsa dancing!). We tried all of your recommendations for food, and we have to say that we adored the seafood at "Restaurante Nautico". The local bars/clubs were great and was a great plus to always feel safe in that town regardless if it was day or night.
This property is highly recommended, it will exceed your expectations and it is a great value for the money. The booking process was flawless, as was the coordination with the groundskeeper and landlord for keys/parking/payment/etc. The landlord even has a guide of things to do in almerimar and almeria - greatly useful if you are not familiar with the area."

| "this place met all our expectations, it was spacous, even with 7 of us in there, clean with all the appliances you could possible want. The beds were quality bieng large and comfortable.H aving 3 bathrooms ment no one waiting, great news when youve 3 teenage girls with you. The terrace was well decked out and the view from it was second to none. Without dought the best place iv stayed in. A absolute pleasure to stay there."

| "W stayed at LagunaSol in June 2006. There were 4 adults and one 2 year old child. The penthouse is totally kitted out for your holiday with lots of personal touches. The complex swimming pool is supurb with the beach just a stones throw away too.
A car was essential for us as the shops and marina are a ten minute drive away and we didn't attempt to walk it as it was too far with a 2 year old. I would imagine riding the owners bikes to the marina would be a good option if you are child free.
Overall a great holiday was had by all and we would recommend a stay at LagunaSol without a doubt. The owners were very helpful and co-operative during the booking process also."

"The Property and surrounding complex was excellent. The only disappointment was that the swimming pool was closed. We subsequently found out it is only open from 15 June to 15 September."

Unfortunately these guests came via an agency, which proved to be less than efficient. We make it very clear on our website that the pool is open from June 15th - Sept 15th. This is due to the high costs of lifeguards. We have three on duty at all times when the pool is open.

| "We were all overwhelmed with the Apartment, very spacious, clean, homely with all mod cons including a Washing Machine! Anne was there to meet & greet us & it was lovely to have the Welcome Pack of goodies on arrival. All the information sent to us prior to our arrival i.e.directions from the airport, information pack with local restaurants & attractions were very useful & easy to follow. You do need a car to get to the main beach, supermarket etc but all were short journeys.A great time was had by all & we'd love to come back again to Almerimar next year, booking the same Apartment. Thanks for a great time."

"We were so impressed with LagunaSol. The apartment itself was superb – so spacious, well designed and laid out, and well equipped to an amazingly high standard. The beds were of such high quality – so comfortable and inviting (the one in the master was a huge 6ft!!) with crisp white cotton bedding on every bed (which is always a sign of impeccable taste, I think!!) On the subject of taste – all the furnishings and fittings were extremely stylish and tasteful and of great quality – certainly not your run of the mill furnished holiday accommodation! It boasted not one, but two terraces, which was a real luxury and a further examples of the wonderful sense of space in the penthouse. We were a part of 8, two families comprising a two year old, two 9 year olds and a 13 year old and there was plenty of room for all of us not to feel on top of one another. The luxury of having no less than three bathrooms made for really harmonious living! The kitchen, too, had everything we needed and there were plenty of books, dvds and cds for disorganised people like us who forgot to pack any! The situation of this particular penthouse was arguably the best in the block, as you could only only see the sea and the bay towards the marina, but also the lovely lagoon and the mountains. Even the inevitable Spanish cranes weren’t too obtrusive. The marina was beautiful, with such an array of restaurants to choose from. We had a wonderful day out in the mountains, visiting the sets of the spaghetti westerns – such a good value day out for all the family – there was a huge landscaped zoo, complete with swimming pool (!) as well as the very authentic wild west town and plenty of inexpensive places to eat (the best restaurant had its own pool too!) We also went to the artisan village of Nijah, in the mountains, which was another lovely day out. Unfortunately, we kept forgetting about the siestas and inevitably by the time we emerged for the day, the rest of the Spanish had gone for a kip, so we missed most of the shops that day, but did have a lovely lazy lunch in a great restaurant with some very friendly waiters. Undoubtedly, what really made the holiday was the lovingly compiled and impeccably detailed instructions on everything from how to get from the airport, to which were the best bars to drink in., It illustrated just how much the owners love their apartment and the whole LagunaSol area, so you felt you weren’t holidaying in “just another Spanish holiday let”. Their informative, chatty website indicates just what fun, friendly people they are and, even though you probably won’t ever get to meet them, it’s reassuring to know you are renting off people who genuinely love Spain and aren’t just in it for the money. We went out of seas where, sadly, the swimming pools and many of the bars and restaurants around the marina were closed, so we did have to venture a bit farther afield on some days – and we still had a ball! If I were the height of season, I doubt we would have left the area at all! We’ll definitely have to back and see it in the summer! To sum up, if you want a lovely, lazy, chilled out break away in the sunshine, this is great accommodation, great quality and great value.

It's corner situation means that both the lagoon and mountains to the rear, and beach and promenade all the way to Almerimar and it's Marina can be seen from the two sun terraces. The lovely lady who looks after the apartment could not have been more helpful, and for anything we wanted we only had to ask. The gardens are manicured to perfection and the pool is one of the largest I have seen. The sea, and mostly empty vast beach is just two minutes walk away. All six of us - age range from seven to fifty-eight - had a truly memorable holiday at LagunaSol and cannot wait to go back."

| "We had a great time in the apartment, that more than lived up to the promise in the advert–right on the beach, wonderful gardens and the fabulous lagoon behind. The accomodation was very good, stylishly furnished, with comfortable beds and every amenity. The area is very Spanish and we particularly enjoyed the restaurants and bars in the marina. The weather was greta too, 25-28 C in early Oct! We will definitely go again highly recommended!"

Just a short note to say a very big thank you after our holiday in your lovely home in spain. We really did have a great time, the weather was good, sunny and warm and the peaceful location was just what we all needed after a busy few months. The apartment could not be faulted in any way, and the standard of cleanliness could win awards! Your housekeepers looked after us very well, your information sheet was spot on, and very helpful but we found it hard to tear ourselves away from the terraces.
