| "We had a lovely stay thank you. The apartment is gorgeous, really pleased with it and would defiantely recommend it to friends. Location was just what we were after, nice and chilled with pool and beach both within 5 minutes walk. Only downfall was the weather but hey you cant have everything and the 3 days of sun that we did have were glorious."

| "The apartment was very comfortable for the number of people in our party not sure if you could fit 6 in as comfortably as it is suggested, the surrounding area was very picturesque with not a lot to do if your not prepared to walk or hire a car but luckily we didnt mind walking.
You need to look for most things they are not instantly visable ie souvenier shops. Beautiful beaches surrounded us so if you have small children take a bucket and spade.
we are thinking of booking this apartment again in the future now we have an idea of where to look for things."

| "We had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay in your apartment thank you.
Dave picked us up and we had a trouble free journey.
We thought the apartment was excellent and very clean. The views from the three balconies are stunning and we spent many hours just watching the boats coming and going. The description of the location is accurate - this holiday is definitely for those who want to relax Spanish style. The supermarket is very close and the restaurant Casa Paco is perfect for a typically Spanish meal - we did not realise that they would not understand English but we got by and were quite proficient at ordering a cafe con letche por favour by the end of the week.
The pool area and garden were very well maintained and again, very clean.
We did venture out to sample the harbour restaurants for a couple of evenings but to be honest we were quite happy just to chill out and stay local.
One slight negative point was that my youngest son aged 11 on the day of travelling (!) found the pool just a fraction deep for him and he spent the week on tip toes - next year that wont be a problem!
Many thanks and we would definitely think about returning next year."

| "The description of this appartment is fitting. The place is clean, and fullfills any 5* criteria. It accomodates parties of all kinds, and does not disappoint. The property is cleaned thoroughly and modern. The pool is clean and hygenic, with a safe surrounding.
Everyone in our party would like to thank Dave for his brilliant and accomodating hospitality. He was always at hand, yet never imposing. He was friendly and informative. We would like to emphasis, how Dave and his family contribute to making this a good value holiday perfect for those who need a break from the rat race!"

| "My husband and I and our two children would like to send our sincere thanks to you for a very enjoyable and relaxing week at your apartment on the La Manga strip at the beginning of June. The apartment was first class, very well equipped and very clean and the views superb!! We really enjoyed watching the boats passing by! Your property managers Dave and Vanessa were most helpful and friendly (a credit to you). They met us at the apartment at the arranged time and Dave took us back to the airport on our departure day. We didnt have a car so we didnt really venture far but there is a great supermarket 2 minutes away. We found the beach (Mar Menor side) on the second day which was great for the kids as it was so shallow so we ended up going every day! There is also a great beach bar there for the much needed afternoon icecream! We did venture to the Tomas Maestre marina a couple of evenings which has a great atmosphere as you watch the sun setting. One thing I would say is that it is a good 15 minute walk (especially with a 8 and 6 year old in tow!!) One down side to our stay was that the new Abity Spa Hotel was getting ready to open while we were staying so there was quite a lot of noise (pressure washer cleaners, workmen, deliveries, diggers!!) going on! But it does look very nice and obviously it is now fully open so this will not affect any future guests! If we return, I may have to have a closer look at the treatments they offer!!
All in all though it was most enjoyable and would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing holiday."

Once we got used to our evening walk to the port/yacht club we looked forward very much to it. We adored the ariel acrobatics of the spanish red arrows every day (it should be featured on your web site !!) and the swimming pool was just perfect for the children. Dave is a god send for anyone needing local information. Thank you again for the use of your lovely apartment."

| "We booked for 6 days at this apartment as a couple (having a break from our 3 teenagers!) and we were not dissapointed. The views from the balcony are great, the place is spotlessly clean and the decor is very modern. The Uk tv was a lovely bonus as it was chilly and dark in the evenings being October. We found a lovely quiet beach only a walk away (or 5 mins drive). If you want a busy fun packed holiday look elsewhere but if you want a relaxing holiday in a quiet location this is ideal. I found the management very friendly and Derren was so helpful and obliging to us. We intend to book for the same time next year! Thank you for our stay."

| "We stayed at the apartment during the first week of September and we had a fantastic time. We got the relaxing, stress-free week we were looking for. The area is fairly quiet but is great for chilling out. The pool is great, the sun loungers provided in the apartment were invaluable. It is a good 20min walk to the marina, which was perfect for us. But if we didnt fancy the walk, there was a good bus service close-by (tickets only 1euro 5cents not matter which stop you go to down the strip).
The marina is lovely, perfect for watching the sun go down. We had some great evenings there, just chilling out with drinks til late.
If anyone is interested in doing the mud thing at the Mar Menor, you can do this at a bay about 5mins walk from the apartment (past supermarket). The mud is VERY difficult to find, but you may get some help from friendly locals like we did!!
The apartment is terrific, with everything you need for a holiday and more. An added bonus are the fantastic views from any window/balcony, esp in the main bedroom - wonderful to wake up to. And the ceiling fans were a godsend!
Our thanks to Dave for picking us up and dro pping us off and for all his information."

| "The apartment was excellent, The only down point was the walk to the Marina with the children, Fortunately the Excellent Property Management of the apartment offered us a spare pushchair and helped us with all our queries and made sure we had a really good holiday.
A very quiet area, Good weather
Local immediate area seems to be a up and coming, once surrounding construction work has been completed, But if you want a holiday where you take it in your stride then this apartment is good value for money
The local Supermarket has everything you will need a few resturants across the road
All in all we had a good holiday"

| "If you want a great relaxing holiday away from the rat race then this is an iedeal destination. The apartment is fantastic, it is clean and spacious with the most fantastic views of the marina, you can sit on the balcony and watch millions of pounds worth of yaghts go
by. Dave and Vanessa the property managers were fabulous, friendly, around if you needed them to be but not in your face. The pools were clean and plenty of sunbathing space around them. It was ideal having the sun loungers in the apartment which you could carry down to the pool. There is also a small park in the complex which our kids made daily use of.
There is a supermarket just down the road which stocks everything you need, as is the beach. It is most certainly worth a trip to the marina to eat. We would recomend the Asian restaurant and Pacque Bote. There is also a Ben and Jerrys Cafe so we were in heaven.
We didnt feel the need for a car as we wanted a get away holiday.
I would also like to thank Dave and Vanessa once again as Dave came to Alicainte to pick us up after our plane was diverted from Murcia.
We would highly recommend the apartment and are definetly considering going to another of JonesVillas next year.

| "Our holiday in a Manga was wonderful, surpassed only by your excellent apartment. Dave, who met us at the airport with a welcoming smile and told us so much on the way to the apartment was always on hand along with his wife Vanessa. Everything was as described, this is a very well equipped apartment, even down to the little touches, obviously well cared for. It was clean, spacious and great to return to at the end of each day. Our girls loved the tv with the choice of stations from home whilst we enjoyed a drink from one of the balconys and watched the many boats quietly cruising by. Breakfast was enjoyed everyday on the main balcony too. The ceiling fans were a godsend as we had some very hot days and humid nights! The books left by previous guests were ideal too. The pool was immensely enjoyed by all of us and never too cold or too busy, always clean and well looked after. We visited both the med and mar menor beaches, both just a short walk away, clean and never crowded, amazingly warm water in the mar menor. The mud in the mar menor is quite therapeutic as we found out! There is a well stocked supermarket nearby where my husband could get his daily paper. We would have no hestation in recommending your highly delightful apartment to anyone and have already started doing so! A truly great holiday, wish we were back there now!!"

We had some beautiful meals at the marina - sitting outside looking out to the mar menor sea and watching the sun set. Pacos - one of the local restaurants - is highly recommended. It may not look as fancy but the food is terrific and is much cheaper than over at the marina - try their paella!"

| "This apartment is absolutely superb. Spacious and with every single thing in it that you could ever wish for. Sunbeds, sun parasols, hairdryers (yes two of them!) and even champagne flutes. The main balcony is spacious enough to entertain at least 6 persons and we could not fault the apartment one single bit. The area is superb if you want stunning views and scenery and peace & quiet. There are good restuarants within walking distance and bars & places to eat at the Marina which is a 20 minute walk. The only downside was we could have done with there being a taxi service near to the resort as it was difficult trying to go further afield in the evenings, but saying that, this is one resort that thank goodness has not yet been spoilt by tourism. We will definately be booking again."

"A lovely apartment, very clean and very comfortable. Every amenity you could possibly need for this type of holiday.
*Bedrooms were spacious, beds comfortable with plenty of extra bedding/pillows for winter visitors.
*Bathrooms roomy and very clean. Both had baths with overhead showers.
*Lounge/dining area large, 2 sofas, dining table. TV, magazines, books - even a jigsaw for rainy days (not that we had any!)
*Kitchen was superb - fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven/hob, cooking utensils, crockery, glasses etc.
*Balconies were lovely, the main terrace was large enough to have meals out on overlooking the canal - great for watching the boats passing from the Med to the marina! Especially at bridge up time! (Every 2 hours it seems) The smaller bedroom had a small terrace - big enough to stand on & look out. The main bedroom had a french door on one corner & a small balcony on the other overlooking the Mar Menor with a couple of chairs. So really good for watching the action on the water!
The pool is lovely and clean. Plenty of space and was very quiet when we were there. The only downside of it being a private apartment rather than a hotel, is there are no sunloungers/chairs. So its a towel on the grass or get yourself a lilo!!
The area itself is more residential than touristy. Although there are obviously a number of English visiting/living there, it is mainly Spanish. Not a great deal of English is spoken compared to other parts of Spain. It is certainly a developing area but to say there were unfinished buildings around, very little work was going on so it did not affect our stay at all! The new 5 star hotel which is just alongside the apartment is nowhere near open, so obviously none of the facilities were available. Not a problem at all. We think that the fact that there will be a 5 star hotel in the neighborhood will be a positive factor and bring nice restaurants etc to the area.
The supermarket is just a few steps up the road & had everything you need. Fresh bread for breakfast was lovely although they dont open until 9.30, so no good if youre an early riser! They stay open until 9.30 at night and open on Sunday mornings. Across on the main road was a home store selling all sorts of bits and bobs including clothing, beach stuff, house wares etc. Next door was the local restaurant/bar. Didnt look anything special, but food was good and reasonably priced.
It is a 30 minute walk to the marina, not many taxis around and buses hit & miss! A selec tion of restaurants and bars surround the marina - not a huge amount, but a varied choice. Very few shopping opportunities in the area, so car hire would be needed for shopaholics!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and booking with Jones Villas was an extremely pleasant experience. We went with my parents & they are already planning their return!"

The apartment is quite far down the strip and therefore lots of bars/restaurants weren't open yet. However, we still had a lovely trip and would recommend the apartment to others."

| "Having never been to La Manga before, we didn’t know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised with what we found. I remember standing at the entrance to the resort and looking across the road and out towards the Med before turning around and seeing the sea on the other side as well. I can’t imagine there’s anywhere else in Spain where you could do this. We also found the on-site supermarket to be very handy and would often go there first thing in the morning for a lovely cup of Spanish coffee and a croissant. We could even pick up the English papers here as well. The apartment was in a fantastic location and we could enjoy the sun all day long on one or the other of its terraces. It was especially nice to be able to sit out on the bedroom terrace and watch the sun setting over the Mar Menor. The apartment itself was lovely and homely and it was nice to be able to sit down at night and watch the normal English TV channels that we get at home. The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances and had a clean and well looked after feel to it. Overall we had a great holiday in La Manga which exceeded our expectations and will definitely return."

"Everything worked out well, David was waiting in arrivals and a very warm greeting awaited us.
Helping with the luggage to the car and chatting filling us with advice. On arrival he showed us around the apartment which was clean and well presented informing us of the DVD situation and is as you imply is an upmarket apartment.
We advised David that we were not too bothered about this as we wanted a television/radio/computer/car free week this was to be a drop out R and R break as they say in the army.
To be honest he respected our request and was totally unobtrusive which was just want we wanted but you had reassurance that somebody was on hand if needed.
The view was excellent and we couldn’t fault anything; other than we were pleased we took tea towels as none were provided and the pedal bin was broken in that the flip top lid did not flip!!
Truthfully we found the whole experience excellent. Though I don’t think peak season would be to our taste.
We used public transport which was excellent to get around the strip and also we used the ferry to go to the Wednesday market. Perhaps in your blurb you could make more of the Ferry which is 4 euros each way and drops you at a excellent fish restaurant if you don’t want to walk to the market, which is huge were you can buy anything fruit ,veg etc. Market day on the mainland is Wednesday.
The ferry is within very easy walking distance from the apartment.
In summary I would give 4.5 out of 5 this was an excellent value for money break with first class views from a first class apartment.
Finally David was bang on time to take us back to the airport."

Hi Tom
Thanks for the feedback. We’re pleased that you had a nice time and always appreciate constructive comments as this allows us to make further improvements for future guests to benefit from. We’ve taken your comments on board and replaced the bin, provided new tea towels, upgraded the DVD player and replaced the kettle and toaster for the 2008 season. We hope that this will ensure that our guests continue to receive the first class service that we strive for.

| "I had a great time in this apartment. We stayed for nine nights and found plenty to do in the local area. It was a bit quiet at this time of year but that made getting around easier and it was never a problem to get a table in a restaurant! We enjoyed the smaller restaurants down the left hand side of the marina the most and never went out to eat much further than about a mile from the apartment. We found sitting on the balcony with some nibbles and a bottle of wine watching the boats coming into and out of the marina very peaceful. We found the apartment to be very clean and well cared for and quite homely. There were a good selection of books left over from previous guests which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have to say the under floor heating came in handy on those evenings which were a bit nippy. The supermarket at the entrance to the resort was also very handy and even had a small coffee bar with a selection of yummy pastries which we visited on a few occasions for breakfast. You can even pick up an English paper here too! Overall, very happy and would definitely recommend it."

"We went at the beginning of October and it was coming to the end of the season.
There was a bit of a mix up with our arrival time. When we got there at 5pm, there was nobody to meet us. Having phoned the property manager's mobile we eventually got in to the apartment by 6pm. My wife however was busting for the loo and was very unhappy. Dave, a bloke who lives in the block said that normally they're given their mobile number as the property manager doesn't live in the block anymore.
The apartment was nice and spacious with good views but I'm sorry not clean in places. The ceiling fans had a thick layer of dust and hadn't been cleaned in months. Some of the cupboards also needed a clean and there were a number of ants in the ensuite.
The main bedroom shutter was also not working, which credit to Darren we were told about, but due to the fact the Spanish do not have curtains, the rest of the holiday involved nipping a blanket between the patio doors to block some of the lights from the harbour area opposite.
If your advertising a first class apartment then that's what I believe you should get!
La Manga was okay but there is alot of building works going on and they work 8 till 7pm 5 days a week.
Restaurants were okay but do not go to the pizza place with the white neon pizza sign to right of the harbour area. My wife's pizza was burnt and the Spring Lamb was twenty bones with a small nibble on each. It did not look very appetisng and at 15 euros for this dish was rubbish.
Brillante's food and hospitality were excellent and was money well spent. El Mosquito has also very good food.
The Mexican was okay but the waitresses had sour faces. The boat restaurant's food was excellent but again the waiter was rubbish, I think he got the face on with us because we didn't like initally where he had sat us. Even though they had only 9 tables to serve.
If you enjoy beach holidays and lounging around then La Manga is okay but if the weather turns then prepare to be disappointed unless you have a car.
To sum up La Manga is 5 years behind in the tourist industry compared to Majorca."

Thanks for your review. All comments are useful to ensure we continue in our endeavor to offer the best holiday accommodation both in La Manga and at our holiday villa at La Marina near Alicante. Your comments regarding access, cleanliness and condition were taken very seriously & acted on without delay. My wife and I immediately went to La Manga to rectify all the issues you noted including engaging a new property manager. We believe a significant improvement is noticeable.
La Manga, like many holiday destinations is quieter off peak. We believe there are still many activities, shops and quality restaurants available locally but a car or public transport should be considered to explore the wider area.

This of course was helped not only by the wonderful apartment of yours but also the help you gave us making the final arrangements days prior to our departure.
I would also like to pass on our thanks to Diane Forster who was so helpful on our arrival giving us all the local information and she even came to our rescue one evening in the first week when the local bus company dropped us halfway back the strip, the driver saying that the service did not continue any further that night call to Diane and she was to our rescue in no time."

| "This property was exactly as advertised. My wife and I had our three kids with us (10mths, 5 & 8) and it was perfect for us. It is a good size and well equiped. The kitchen had everything except a dishwasher (which wasn't a problem on Holiday).
You have access to a pool which was never too crowded and perfect for the family. It is also a short walk to either the beach at the med or the lagoon. The water in both was the warmest I have ever expierienced!
There is a supermarket close by and offers a wide range of goods and newspapers. The TV has most of the stations from home as well.
Probably the best thing about this appartment was the views from the balconies. The main balcony which is a good size, allows you to sit and enjoy your breakfast or dinner (or indeed a few drinks) while watching countless boats pass by below (wish I was there now!!).
La Manga is not the usual Holiday resort that you may have come to expect with very few people speaking English, we found the car a must for us.
I would highly recommnend this to anyone and indeed have already. I will never book a package holiday again - why should you when you can have this comfort?"

Our group really enjoyed all of the local facilities including a visit to the Spa just along the strip. With plenty of local bars we were happy with the choice for something to eat or drink. A trip on the local boat over the Mar Menor to Santiago de la Ribera is a must (Wednesday is market day). The pool and very local beaches were great in the day for cooling off too. The local golf course and driving range only 5 minutes away is also worth a visit & only par 3 so ideal for my standard of play. We hope to visit again later in the year. Thanks again"

| "This is a superb apartment - it exceeded our expectations. It contains just about everything anyone could require.
We even found that buckets and spades were provided - which our 3 year old made good use of at the beach. We also made good use of the beach mats and the beach umbrella.
Although we hired a car for a few days, we hardly used it, because the Mar Menor and the Med are so close. I would recommend using the Mar Menor rather than the Med. I got stung by a jellyfish (feels like a nettle sting) in the Med. However, the Mar Menor has anti-jellyfish nets and is warmer. Our 3 year loved loved the Mar Menor and gained a great deal of confidence.
The apartment is NOT in an overly commercialised area - if you want or expect some place like Benidorm, then go elsewhere. The apartment was quiet and relaxing - just what we required. An (excellent) supermarket is close to hand and the staff were particularly friendly and helpful.
Oh yes, if you get a taxi with Diane, you will find her to be particularly helpful and friendly.
The only downside of our holiday was flying with Ryanair - beware of their 'dodgy' scales at the airport - we weighed our bags on scales beforehand, but the Ryanair scales put our bags at being nearly 2kg (each bag) more - so they can charge you more ! Thankfully, this didn't set the tone for the holiday.
Normally, we like to try somewhere new for each holiday, but we are considering booking the apartment again later in the year.
This is a genuinely 'first-class' apartment and is (by far) the best that we have ever stayed in - better than many hotels. I honestly can't think of any aspected that could reasonably be improved upon."

The description of the property is very accurate and the views onto the marina were stunning to say the least.
At this present time there is some building work going on in and around the vicinity, but that did not spoil our holiday
Overall Excellent"

"A lovely apartment but disappointed in the lack of preparation/serving dishes especially as I enjoy cooking.
There was only a sheet and bedspread on the beds and we could have done with blankets or a duvet being available as it was cool at night.
We were not informed before we left that new arrangements for the key had been made and if we had not had a mobile phone with us would have been in a mess as there was no one to meet us.
A car is essential especially at the time of year we went as many places were not yet open for the season.
If you want a holiday that involves the beach and the pool this apartment could not be faulted but if you like to explore then remember you always have a 14 kilometre drive down the strip before you can go anywhere."

Thank you for your review and your appreciation of our lovely apartment. It is and has always been our hope that all of our guests enjoy their holiday. We have noted your comments regarding preparation/serving dishes and will endeavour to add to these allowing future visits by the keen cooks amongst our guests to be satisfied. We considered the option of providing duvets for each bed but the cost of ensuring that these are kept in a hygienic condition becomes prohibitive when compared to the cost of the letting. As the apartment is serviced by under floor heating throughout at no extra cost to our guests, we felt this to be a preferred alternative maintaining an ambient temperature. It is unfortunate that on this occasion and for the first time since we began letting our holiday home, due to circumstances beyond our control meant your reception was not to the very high standard our guests usually enjoy. We apologise for this and continue to monitor this situation to ensure no repetition. Your reference to car hire is valid although a public transport service is in operation and many of our guests have referred to the fun, convenience and low cost of being able to utilise this environmentally friendly option. We agree that our apartment is ideally suited to holidays on the beach or around the pool but again, set in such a stunning area with so many local facilities many of our guests have commented that they prefer to travel that bit further to enjoy the apartment's great location.

"Superb location for boat lovers.
Only one small gripe: electric circuit breaker trips each time oven and hot plate are used together. A torch to hand would be very useful."
Owner reply:
:
Please accept our apologies for the electric circuit breaker problem. A local electrician has now uprated the trip. He said it was probably the draw from the underfloor heating that caused the overload. Everything now seems fine - thanks for letting us know about it.

| "Fabulous appartment, peace and quiet, yet always plenty to see with the boats passing by continuously. Photos very accurate, wonderful views from both balconies, luxury marbled stairwells and foyer. We love Murcia you almost want to keep the secret to yourself. We feel a car is essential it gives you the freedom to explore, driving is straight forward not the volume of traffic as in other areas of Spain.
We enjoyed having our meals on the balcony thus saved money and gave us another opportiunity to look at the boats.
Felt very safe in the appartment, keyholder met us as arranged and gave us some useful info.
New supermarket a real bonus just 4-5 mins walk away. We have had some disappointing appartments over the years this is one I would not hesitate to revisit.

| "2 adults and 2 children. August 2006. We had 10 days in this beautiful apartment, overlooking the Marina and watching the fantastic boats come and go from one of the apartment's balconies. We swam in the pool every day, the pool was large enough for everyone to enjoy without being crowded (even on the busiest fortnight of the school hols) - though I had to buy a lilo to lie on as no sunbeds are available unless you bring your own. We spent time on the beach too but found we needed our hire car for days out to entertain the kids - couples without children would be fine wihtout one though. There is a lot to see and do in the area but a car allowed a bit more freedom to visit water parks, zoos, nearby Cartegena etc. Food in the Port was very good, we particularly liked "Friends" for the food and family friendliness, the kids enjoyed the funfair which I presume is there for the main holiday season. The supermarket at the end of the road was very handy and stocked plenty to cook at home for an alternative to going out - the kitchen being very well equipped for rustling up meals. The washing machine was a godsend.
Would definitely book again, and will recommend to anyone who asks!"

| "The apartment was well equipped and spacious. having two bathrooms with a teenage daughter definately a good idea! The views of the entrance to the mar menor and port were amazing especially to be able to see them from the bed in the master bedroom. The supermarket was 100yards away and a choice of beaches within walking distance. I would recommend a car to get the most out of the area. It was also nice that either the owner or previous guests had bought and then left things like washing up liquid and soap powder. The swimming pool was also good, both warm and clean the only thing we missed were loungers. We were met on arrival and shown to the apartment. All in all great value and a wonderful holiday which we would be happy to repeat."

| "Appartment was in excellent condition. Great views from each room. You have the choice of two beaches or for those who prefer a little less salt there are two pool and tennis courts! There was some noise from ongoing construction which is the only eyesore. If you don't have a car there isan excellent bus service. Just 2 minutes walk away there are a choice of supermarkets and bars and restaurants. The booking service was excellent and we were picked up from Murcia Airport without any problems. Thanks Villarenters!!!"

| "Accommodation was of a wonderfully high standard, very clean and spacious (2 bed, 2 bathroom). View overlooking the marina was lovely.
I would highly recommend the accommodation. The marina also had decent restaurants but little else to do in the area. A car is useful when staying at this apartment."

| "This is a proper Mediterranean Holiday, not Blackpool in the sun!
We had a great time, a really relaxing holiday, the apartment is spot on with great views, some great places to eat in the Marina and surrounding area, all reasonably priced and all overlooking the Bay or the harbour.
Most nights we ate watching the sun go down!
It was quiet around the apartment but I knew and expected that and wasn't bothered, you do need a car to make the most of what's available locally and further a field like Cartagena and Murcia.
Our party consisted of three generations and we all enjoyed ourselves.
Booking process very professional and last minute request not a problem.
Would definitely go again.

| "We had never been to Murcia, nor to La Manga Strip. But we had been to Miami, and that was my first thought when approaching La Manga Strip. La Manga strip is unique. We approached the apartment past some stunning views across the Mar Menor, and that was just the start. My family of 4 really enjoyed this well appointed apartment, with it's views of the Mar Menor, Thomas Maestre Marina and the Canal del Estacio. Listening to the sounds of the marina on a sun soaked balcony (overlooking our table at the yacht club - recommended; Michael and the team have to be the friendliest bunch we've ever met) while the craft make their way to hurry through the drawbridge and out to the Mediterranean Sea is a relaxing occupation all on it's own. One of the other reasons I visited La Manga was for the healthy environment - surprisingly, the U.N. World Health Organisation rate the area as the most healthy place on earth. I took advantage of the magical properties of the Mar Menor to help cure some skin ailments. The air itself seems to have health giving properties according to the locals (who are, incidentally, very friendly and accomodating). We spent some time in Mar Menor beach coves and had fun in the mediterranean rollers (on the same day!) and had day trips to picturesque fishing villages (try Cabo de Palos) and historical towns (Murcia and Cartajena (try the harbour) which are worth a visit but do your homework first or you'll miss some really interesting bits. We had some great evenings around the marina, down the strip and in the towns. We'll be back...."

"I recently spent time with friends in a JonesVillas property in La Manga; Spain. The apartment was immaculate and well-equipped with entertainment centre and all necessities for a comfortable holiday, with some impressive personal touches to the décor and great views of the area, both lagoon and the ocean from the two balconies. The main balcony was especially good for all to sit and visit together.
We were quite happy to relax in the apartment and use the huge (clean!) pool at the complex. However, we discovered it was well worth an exploration of the area; finding bars and restaurants on the beachfront, water sport facilities walking distance from apartment as well as shops stocked with delicious local food and drink for our stay.
I would recommend JonesVillas to anyone: they provided professional service from start to finish and the accommodation was ideal. It was a bonus being able to take a “virtual tour” of the property before booking too. My friends and I knew exactly what to expect - and we were not disappointed.
Good job, Jones Villas!

| "The apartment is of a very high standard, well finished with all the comforts of home. The views over the canal and the marina are great, and it's nice and quiet!
There are nice beaches within walking distance with limited facilities, but you can drive to loads more beaches nearby. Several decent golf courses can be reached by car within an hours drive.
The area around the property is still in development and needs a bit more work before it is an ideal location.
Can't fault the apartment though, Thanks"
