| "We were very pleased with the villa it had everything you needed for a good holiday, the pool was lovely although could do with some railings for entering the pool for older people, we would not say that the property was near to the beach but this did not affect us as we hired a car and found lots of nice beaches around the area, the village of Mandria was lovely to, the village is bigger than advertised with more taverns/restaurants etc which are all very good and value for money, the locals are very friendly and helpful, we spent alot of our evenings at the get in cafe which we can recommend as very friendly and offer entertainment on some evenings, all in all we had a great time and fell in love with cyprus and mandria and will definately return next year."

| "The photos do not do justice to the villa and gardens. We found the villa very clean, spacious and well equipped. The gardens were beautiful, with a mixture of colour, flowers, shrubs and herbs. The garden was also secluded and private. We never left the village as there is everything in the village if you just want a quiet relaxing holiday. However, it would be necessary to hire a car if you wanted to leave the village sightseeing. Trevor was really helpful. The little taverna on the beach is definately Shirley Valentine. Will definately return.

| "The property certainly met our expectations,
clean and uncluttered and comfortable. The pool was kept in excellent condition and the twice a week cleaning was done early morning without disturbance.
The close proximity to Mandria village made shopping and eating out no problem, if you want to go further afield a hire car is essential.
We throughly enjoyed our stay."

The villa is clean and well equipped, home from home with the added bonus of a lovely pool. We stayed at Mandria villa for a week mid February 2009 and although the weather was mixed and hot enough to sunbathe during the day, I would recommend you book the heating as it dose go cold in the evenings. The arrangement from start to finish went smoothly thanks to the owner who couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

| "The property was very good and had every thing you need. A car however is essential although there are plenty of taxis.
The area is good with two good supermarkets (Small but have most things) and two taverns
Paphos is great with so many secluded beaches so make sure you drive along the coast line.
This was a very relaxing Hoilday for us."

| "The villa itself was extremely beautiful and far exceeded all expectations, it was very spacious and the accessories provided were excellent, there was entertainment systems and excellent cooking facilities.
The pool was a lifesaver, in the extreme heat of the Cyprus summer, is was great to cool down in the spacious swimming pool.
The village itself was very nice, with friendly places to shop and eat, allthough I felt the store owners were overcharging a lot for many items.
The neighbours were also very helpful and kind, and the villa caretaker was also very kind and pleasant.
I would recommend this villa to anyone wishing to relax in beautiful yet affordable accomodation. However, make sure you rent a car if you wish to go sightseeing as the Cypriut taxi drivers are ridiculously expensive."

| "The Villa is situated in a nice Village location.
It is pretty much secluded and private - the shrubbery, palm trees around the property are lovely.
The swimming pool is well looked after.
The Neighbours are friendly.
The beaches nearby are better than at Pafos or anywheere else on this side of the Island.
We are quite happy to reccommend this Villa to anyone."

"The Villa , pool and garden were very good just right for relaxing .We were disappointed with the distance from the sea not as described in the details which were 1 ,3 and 10 minutes walk, I would say it would take at least 30 minutes if you were very fit . Also some building work is being done on the development whitch was very noisy in the mornings especially the 3 days they dug up the path outside the villa with a digger and pneumatic drills"
Owner reply:
:
First of all thank for providing feedback regarding your holiday. It is always good for people thinking of booking the villa to see impartial comments from others.
I am really glad you enjoyed your holiday and the villa, gardens and pool all met your expectations and you had a relaxing time.
I am unsure which beach you visited? Mandria is a small village, and having driven to the beach, I can confirm it is 1mile from the villa. I would suggest that this would take a person of average fitness 10 – 15 minutes to walk. The 3 minute to beach comment refers to driving time. Please see review from ‘Sally from Lowestoft’ below who made the opposite point to yourself that the beach being close by. So I am assuming that you either are not talking about the village beaches or you have taken a circuitous route to the beach.
With respect to the development work, I was over in April and there was no work going on then. I have just spoken to the property manager regarding this, and she thinks that you are referring to 2 days when the Electricity Board lifted the pavement, laying new electrics. This is really unfortunate and a one off event, of which I have no control, and had no awareness, and I can only apologise for this. Trevor

| "this was a great villa, clean and comfortable with everything a family could need to have a great holiday. Trevor was extemely helpful during the booking process particularly when asked about hospitals etc for a disabled child and the information pack at the villa was really useful. trevor and maureen have some lovely neighbours too,who are more than happy to have a chat or pass on useful information to you. As a family of 5 the villa was more than big enough for all of us and we would not hesitate to book this villa again."

Gardens were beautiful, lovely bananas from the tree. swimming pool , we thoroughly enjoyed. the village itself very quaint, relaxed atmosphere. Two tavernas were excellent value for money, and very welcomimg, cypriot music on Friday night.
Trevor was very helpful throughout the whole holiday booking, and was nice to meet him as he was staying at the villa prior to our stay, and met us at the airport.
Already booked for next year, cannot wait to return"

| "the property was excellent. It was spotlessly clean and both well equipt and spacious interior. The gardens are beautifly designed with a relaxing patio and veranda. The large private pool was a really spectacular addition to an already excellent property.
The location of the property was good too with only a short drive from the airport and all the major towns and tourist attractions. The villa its self is in a small quaint village which is close to a beach providing excellent swimming and snorkling conditions during the summer months.
the villas owner was extreamly helpful throughout the whole booking experience and their information folder (which was put together by them) was very usfull during our stay.
I really can't praise it enough, the whole experience was great and we will surely stay there again."

| "We have just returned home from our holiday at Mandria Villa and I feel I have to shout from the roof tops what a fantastic holiday we have had. The villa was everything we, a family, could have wanted and more. After reading the description and seeing the pictures on the website when we arrived we felt like we already knew the villa such was the clear descriptions. The Villa was clean and well equipped and was very comfortable. The Villa is situated in a very pleasant village that has many ammeneties and is a good base for touring. You actually feel more involved in Cypriot life when choosing this villa in this location. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We have to say a huge thank you to Trevor and Maureen for all your help with hire cars and answering any questions we may have had. We look forward to visiting again very soon and would not hesitate to recommend this Villa to anyone."

| "the villa was fantastic and only a short drive from the airport which was lovely after the flight!!
everything that we needed and more was included with the villa and the information pack provided was extremely helpful.
the next door neighbours were very welcoming and really helpful.
it was only a short drive into Phaphos where we found a few bars and clubs that were good fun.
the local taverns were nice and friendly for the nights we decided not to cook, and the local shops although small seemed to have catered for every amenitie.
the villa was spacious even with six of us, and having our own pool was brilliant. The owners of the villa were really helpful and replied speedily to e-mails asking questions, they were very friendly and made us feel very welcome in their home, much better than a tour operator!
all in all it was a fantastic holiday made even better by the beautiful weather!! we would all definitely recommend it!!"

| "We went as a party of 6 adults and a 10 month old baby. The villa had everything we needed for a great holiday. Trevor, the owner, was so helpful, arranging car hire and providing details of local English speaking doctors and everything we might need to know when taking a baby abroad. The villa, pool and gardens were really lovely. The neighbours were pleasant and helpful. A short stroll took us to the village where the locals who own the tavernas and little supermarkets were very friendly and welcoming. We all agreed that we would like to return to Mandria for another stress free holiday!"

Lovely private grounds and good sized pool in quiet village with good local amenities- lovely to be able to walk short distance to village centre for drink or meal. Neighbours friendly and helpful. We took a toddler and the villa and location was perfect for her (small park nearby too!)"

Everyone in the village very freindly towards us.
I would recommend hiring a car as it is 10mins from paphos town.
Would like to thank Trevor Carlile again as he could'nt do enough for us.

from Trevor and Maureen was everything shown on the website and more. I found Trevor to be very helpful, even on the smallest of queries as this was the first time we,ed booked through the internet and we were a bit cautious. Would we go again? yes, tomorrow
We,ve already recommed it family and friends

| "I have stayed at a number of villas on different holidays. This villa is one of the best. Very well equipped and quality furnishings. The garden, pool were excellent. I must commend whoever cleans the villa-- it was spotless.
The village was idyllic, and the villagers very friendly. The two tavernas were excellent value. Sitting under the grapevine at Yiannis taverna in the sunshine was special.
We used the picnic hamper and had a wonderful picnic down at the quiet beach coves.
Would definately recommend to friends, and we have already rebooked for next year."
