Location
The attractive, restored Quinta da Graca is set in a semi-rural location with immediate neighbours, but also enjoys peace and privacy. However, it is by no means isolate and is only 3km outside the village of Benagil.
The village of Benagil is set in an area of picturesque countryside characterised by pine trees, and farmhouses scattered across an undulating landscape. Benagil has several restaurants, often serving the catch of the day, brought in by the local fisherman. It also has a few small shops, to serve your essential needs,
The beautiful Marinha beach has golden sands, dramatic sandstone cliffs and beautiful tunnels within rocky formatons and is only about 2km away - but be warned, there are 116 steps down, which means 116 steps back up again.
The villa is only 4.5km from the centre of Carvoeiro; a large seafront village. Once a quiet fishing village, Carvoeiro has steadily grown throughout the years to incorporate the flourishing tourist trade. The streets are lined with cafes, bars and restaurants, and a stroll around the older streets of the town will take you to quaint shops selling local crafts and market stalls selling fresh local goods. Although now a bustling place in high season, the essence of the sleepy village still remains through the local fishermen who sail the seas and bring home their catches, sorting them in the harbour.

• Krazy World – a family attraction with a small zoo that has live animal shows throughout the summer and aims to inspire children about conservation. There is also a petting zoo (with camels and llamas!), pony rides and mini-golf so there’s enough to keep the whole family occupied for a day. Approx. 23km away
• ZooMarine – an ocean theme park set amongst lakes and gardens with exhibitions, shows and rides to entertain the whole family. Has a large range of marine animals from sea lions and dolphins to turtles and exotic birds. Approx 12km away.
Villa Walkthrough
Approach:You reach the impressive, attractive Quinta da Grace up a sweeping driveway, lined with twisted olive trees. The white and blue villa with gently sloping, red tiled roofs is surrounded by landscaped gardens with paved pathways. From the parking area, you enter through a large wooden door into an entrance hall in the right wing of the villa.
Ground Floor:In this wing there is an elegant living room with white walls, a smooth, tiled floor, colourful prints on the alls, a luxurious L-shaped sofa, two cushioned wicker armchairs and a glass-topped coffee table.
A separate contemporary kitchen is found in the same wing; with a breakfast table and chairs for four. It has creamy coloured units, a white tiled splash back and black worktop – it is also well-equipped with a large hob and coffee machine.
There are three double bedrooms; the master has an en-suite shower room and glass doors overlooking the gardens. In addition there is one bedroom with twin beds and a fifth bedroom with a single bed. All the bedrooms are simply decorated with bright bed linens and matching mosquito net canopies that drape over them.
The two, tiled shower rooms have open-style showers, white washbasins and toilets and large mirrors.
In the left wing, stairs lead down to a large, spacious room containing a sitting area, dining area and open-plan kitchen. This room is very nicely decorated in a modern and comfortable style with pastel blue sofas, and chrome and glass fittings and furniture. A large spiky palm sits in a blue pot by a window on one side. Along one wall is the contemporary blue-washed wood and chrome kitchen with a tall fridge/freezer, large oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a dining table and six chairs, and also a glass coffee table and two wicker chairs in the sitting area. A door leads to a small cloakroom.
There is also a small utility room containing a washing machine.
Outside:A central courtyard contains a raised dining terrace with a built-in barbecue, two wooden dining tables, wooden parasols and 12 chairs. Stairs lead down the side of the raised terrace to a large paved area which divides off to the left down a flight of steps to the right side of the pool area, or winds right down a sweeping path to the left side of the pool.
The unusual, figure of eight shaped, saltwater pool has a large shallow area which is warm, and safe for small children to splash about in. A very tall palm tree is planted next to the pool; whose sides are decorated in blue mosaic tiles and large sandstone rocks. There are plenty of wooden sunloungers lined up around the pool, facing the warm sun.
