We came across this property almost by accident, as a result of a Google search. We were really glad we had! La Forge is a unique property in a very interesting area of France. There is everything you would need in terms of facilities in the property coupled with a grand vista down the valley. Whilst we did not need any heating during our stay we were sure that with a wood fire the lounge would have been very warm and cosy and good for relaxing on an Autumn or Winters evening. Fortunately we had the warmth to be able to use the south facing patio until dusk. The property is advertised as having a garage but it is probably easier to not bother using that unless you have a small car and there is no shortage of parking within 100 meters similarly the local roads are more suited to small and medium sized cars rather than larger ones. There is a restaurant in the village this is apparently only open from mid-June to mid-September.

Fantastic equipment. Well looked after by Mr Wild who was super. Everything was a expected. Views amazing. Recommend highly to all but not suitable for young toddlers or elderly people.

Just spent a week at La Forge and frankly its difficult to find one thing I didnt like about it. Fantastic house over 3 floors, exceptionally well equipped, immaculately clean and peaceful with absolutely stunning views. Owner at hand, friendly and helpful but leaves you to enjoy a great holiday. I can thoroughly recommend a visit to Cantobre and La Forge
