We had an excellent time at Can Botana in August. The villa complex was ideally situated in a small town, 5 mins walk from the beach. The swimming pool was lovely with plenty of shade and sun. The villa itself was well equipped with lots of extras, (parasol, beach mats, cleaning products etc) which was ideal when travelling by plane. We were a family of 6 which made the villas was very good value for money for us. For all these reasons, we would love to return there.

we have been using botana villas for quite a few years now - this villa is extremely well looked after and meets all our needs perfectly, Migual, the caretaker is most helpful and pleasant, pool is excellent - good size and water temperature great - very refreshing but not too cold, Cala san Vicenti is a beautiful resort - so quite and peaceful with excellent beach coves and restaurants with very friendly staff. Although there are many steps in this resort - it makes you feel better when having a lazy holiday that at least you have to do some excercise!!! some really breathtaking views and walks around resort. One and only complaint - dont stand on bathroom scales before you leave - they will hurt you!!! Excellent villa and resort

Just a perfect setting, well maintained gardens, clean pool area, only minutes from the lovely sandy beach, good walks, a range of restaurants to suit all tastes, and near to a couple of local grocery shops. Tastefully decorated villa, spacious interior (slept our party of 6 adults comfortably - no feeling of being cramped). Kitchen well equipped. Relaxing on the patio with a bottle or two of chilled cava is highly recommended! Owners very helpful. Would definately plan a return visit - Thank you!

We had a lovely time at Can Botana. The property is in an excellent location in Cala San Vicente - with lovely gardens and a super pool which our young children miss dearly!

Lovely spacious Villa, beautiful location & great pool. Cala San Vicente is an excellent spot for a family holiday. Weather hot and sunny. Downside - noisy neighbouring villas in complex at nighttime.

10 Can Botana is a perfect property for a family holiday. The villa was much larger than we expected with pleasant seating areas at front and back and two good sized bedrooms and plenty of living space downstairs. The shared pool was fantastic with lots of other children congregating there in the afternoon at the time we visited which was perfect for our children. There were also plenty of sun loungers and the pool area was always kept clean and tidy by Miguel the caretaker. The beach at Cala Molins is less than 2 minutes walk from the villa with lovely sand and clear warm water for swimming in in Summer. Cala San Vicent makes a good base for exploring this part of the island which was far more beautiful than we were expecting. The village/town itself has everything you need if you dont want to explore further afield, with a couple of small supermarkets and a good range of restaurants. We had a great time and plan to return again next Summer.

The villa was of a very good standard in an
excellent location. Relax around the pool area or take a 5 minute stroll to the beach.
Local restaurants were of a good standard and the owners were very welcoming.
Cala Sant Vicenc is a safe and very relaxing resort I would not hesitate to recommend the villa and the resort.
Look out for the beautiful sunset that creates stunning colours on the rocks.

We were very happy with both the villa and the complex it was in. Surroundings were well looked after. Owner was particularly helpful when the start to our holiday was unavoidably delayed with a knock-on effect to car-hire etc.
Car hire, although not essential, is probably a good asset.

Excellent facilities and good location for the beach and local facilities.

A great setting amongst the trees just 3 or 4 mins walk from the beach/shops/restaurants, but in a quiet location. Villa itself is shaded for most of the day, so sun worshippers will have to head to the pool or beach. However for summer the shaded verandas are just perfect. One warning - take toilet paper with you - they dont provide any even for day 1 !
Owner reply:
Hi Rob, thanks for taking the time to add your review. It has been very frustrating having the cleaning staff removing everything including the toilet paper, but thankfully we have resolved this now! Just a note to all sun worshippers the private roof terrace in high season has sun from mid morning until it goes behind the mountains in the late evening. Adrian

Villa occupies a great position only 2 minutes from the stunning cove of Cala San Vincente.
The Water in the cove was crystal clear
We found this villa very spacious and comfortable.
If you are looking for a very chilled holiday in unspoilt resort, I would highly recommend

The setting for the villa was as described, Upon arrival we noticed extensive building works across the road, fortunatly we are early risers as the noise from the Site was considrable. The villa was as described, but could do with updating. The shower took two days to work due to a build up of Limescale, the floors in the Villa were dirty and the kitchen had a cockroach in one of the draws. The villa also had a infestation of ants. The welcome pack was not found until the last day of our break. The pool was dirty and not used during the holiday. Without wanting to be negative these problems were over looked but may bother some holiday makers, the weather was good even though it was April. The local area is beautiful and the locals pleasant (a visit to Pollensa is a must do). We would stay again in the port and at the villa.
Owner reply:
Hi Timothy, thank you for taking the time to add a review. The Mallorcian government insist on all major building work ceasing between May-October in recognition of the holiday season. This building work clearly caused extra problems for the staff at Can Botana but thankfully once the season was underway all was good!. We do advertise our villa for all year round stays and we price accordingly. I am sorry for the problems you had during your stay, as you say the local area is beautiful and I am pleased you say you would stay in our villa again.
Thanks again
Adrian

The villa is beautifully situated amid pines only 3 minutes walk from a wonderful beach with a stunning backdrop of fairytale cliffs in the distance. The villa was clean and very spacious; the surrounding gardens and pool area beautifully maintained and blissfully quiet, away from roads, bars, shops etc. though these are only a few minutes walk away.In good weather it could not be more perfect - unfortunately our stay at the end of October co-incided with rain and winter storms( just bad luck as we heard the previous week han been hot and sunny). However we enjoyed some wonderful walking in the nearby mountains watching rare black vultures circling overhead and savouring the wild and beautiful landscape.Would love to return.

With the proviso that, unfortunately, we did not have good weather for our week in C'an Botana....the villa was superb - it was in great, spacious condition and comfortable for our family.
The entire complex was delightful with a lovely pool and very helpful attendant, Miguel - though again the pool was underused because of weather.
The village is low key but friendly and all within walking distance.
As it was our first visit to Majorca we were delighted with our weeks - HIGHLY recommended.
