We went to the villa 20th to 30th July 2010, but definitely wished we could have stayed longer. There were four in our party, me, my husband, daughter (18) and son (14). We booked direct with Karen and met her before we went.
We pre-booked an air-conditioned saloon type hire car and collected it from Dalaman Airport through Economy Car Rentals, it was ready for us on arrival and was excellent value. Even arriving in the middle of the night we found the villa fairly easily about 40 minutes from the airport. The weather in late July was extremely hot and thankfully the villa and car had excellent air-conditioning.
The villa is in the best position in the complex right next to the pool (but you must be a swimmer to use the pool as there is no shallow end). Once inside the villa it was clean and tidy, well equipped with furniture, bedding, kitchen equipment etc having more than anyone could possibly need. There is a TV with a good selec tion of DVDs to watch, we took our iPod and listened to music through the docking station but Karen had left lots of CDs in the villa to listen too. There were mosquito nets on all the beds which again is a must at the end of July.
There are 3 local shops selling bread/drinks but are not terribly well stocked. The old lady in the shop closest to the villa cooks a mean pancake!! (well worth trying). If you need provisions there is a supermarket (similar to our Asda/Morrisons) called Migros in Fetihye and you can get stocked up there and it is very reasonable/cheap.
The villa pool is excellent (just like getting in a hot bath) and the gardens are well looked after by the site staff.
We ate a couple of times at the local beach bars (Sands and Belkin) but found better food in Calis Beach (Dennis the Menace was excellent and we used their free wi-fi) and we also ate at the villa.
We visited Olu Deniz and Fetiyhe and had a hammam (which we all enjoyed). The locals are mostly Turkish and keep themselves to themselves, but we met a British couple who have a home there and they love the place. I can see why.
Thank you for the best holiday ever.

I went with my two sons (then aged 15 and 10) in August 2009. Stayed for 10 day and wished wed gone for 2 weeks.
We hired a car and drove from Dalaman. Found the villa fairly easily. The villa is as described and is a really easy place to relax into. In August it was wonderfully hot - but we were grateful that both villa and car had decent air-conditioning.
We spent our time being both lazy and active: kids spent most mornings in the pool (I spent them in hammock on the upper terrace) we ate at the local beach bars we hanged out at the surf centre did some trips in the car to various places to visit and even found the more mundane things like supermarket shopping (yes there is one) and outdoor markets and exotic browsing in Fethiye quite exciting!
The local area is not commercialised at all. The locals are mostly Turkish with a few Brits who have moved out there. The family who run the local shop barely speak any English and couldnt be more friendly and even taught me some Turkish!
The local Surf Centre does the usual range of activities and caters for all needs. Again very friendly and of course has a bar with its night time scene.
The other local bars are good as well. All provide good food at sensible prices and most have free WiFi internet too.
About 30 minute walk is the main Calis Beach front which is much busier with a range of bars and restaurants and night clubs.
Fethiye is a bus or car ride away. Its a great little town. Lots going on both in the day and especially in evening.
All told we had a fantastic time and we cant wait to go back out there again!!
