The villa was wonderful and had everything we needed. The only surprise was we were charged for all our local phone calls. We look forward to returning again and would rent the same villa. Stayed in a north finger villa last time we were in Antigua, but would definitely stay in the south finger again as this villa is just a short walk to the beach and close to anything else needed in Jolly Harbor.

First-class villa ! Outside space enhances this property. Convenient location! Disappointed not having the said BBQ but didnt spoil our holiday ! Will return to this villa again.

Overall we had a lovely time. The villa had nearly all we needed though the promised BBQ was not there. Any maintenance issues were dealt with promptly. The extended patio made all the difference as we could enjoy the sun right until late afternoon.

We found the villa clean and comfortable, in a great location, close to the beach. The maids were efficient and HBK could not have been more helpful.
We would not hesitate to recommend this property.

We as a family have stayed at Jolly Harbour 6 times, this has been the best villa that we have stayed in. Will book for next year.

This villa was just about perfect for our family holiday. Ensuite facilities for both bedrooms is a great advantage. The villa was spotless on arrival and the maid service was appreciated.
The location within Jolly Harbour Villas complex is good, only a 3 minute stroll to the lovely beach.
The villa is great value for money and would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Have stayed there before. It is beautifully situated, within easy walking distance of the beach and a 10 minute stroll to the main facilities. The whole complex is maintained to a very good standard. I would strongly recommend this villa to anyone who needs a relaxing experience, away from the stresses of the real world.

Great location in the harbour, with amenities close by.. Beach is a few minutes walk away.. good maid service.. enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it!

The villa was not ready until the day after !!!!
The condo is safe , clean, the villa is nice,clean and well furnished and 5 minutes walk to the beach
the villa is cleaned every 2 days
To have a washing machine is great not to come back with all the laundry to do
The only things we missed is umbrella for the morning to eat outside and mastress for the seabed .. and to close easely the door window!!

this is a lovely villa, well furnished, lots of great books on the shelves, also games and cds.
shower rooms upgraded, which was excellent.
fine wooden patio furniture, but oh please do provide cushions to soften the relaxing experience!
maid service was great, and towels replaced, but the villa managers must be told repeatedly that one towel per person is rather mean. Advise to bring extra.

Villa well equipped and comfortable. Nice location, close to amenities. We would recommend the following places to eat, they are all excellent: OJs, brilliant seafood, great staff (car or taxi ride), Castaways on Jolly Beach, Petes BBQ, Mellinis (all in resort). Don't recommend the Foredeck, base of the Jolly Harbour Yacht Club. Definitely hire a car, best way to se the island. Go to turners beach, the West, and Darkwood. We stayed at this villa just after Easter 2009 and loved it. It had everything we needed and for anything else, we only had to ask HBK, the managing agents, and it appeared. They were brilliant....always friendly and helpful.
As there were 5 of us, we needed to use the sofa bed. This wasnt a problem for us as my 9 year old slept on it but I wouldnt recommend it as a comfortable nights sleep for an adult.
As for the complex, there is a communual swimming pool which is a 10 minute walk away and its only 5 mins to the beach with its own beach bar which is amazing.
The villa was perfectly placed for us. We have 3 children, the youngest is 3 and we walked everywhere without a problem. The island of Antigua is amazing and we are defintely going back!!

Beautifully maintained and equipped. Perfectly placed to catch the sun from 07:00 - 15:00. Short stroll to the beach and a 10 minute stroll to the shops and restaurants. An oasis of calm in a wonderful environment.

Our first visit to Antigua and Jolly harbour. We have travelled extensively around the carribean, from the Bahamas to Barbados and found Antigua to be extremely laid back and pleasant. The Villa was pretty much as expected. It has to be remembered that this is a home and not a hotel. Over the week we got to really like the place and appreciated very much the location ( 3mins to the beach and beachbar) Essentially the villa is well equiped with all the neccesary kitchen utensils/towels/safe/aircon/sat tv etc. There is an excellent supermarket at the marina -Epicurian.The maid service (they came three times during our 10 day stay) is excellent. The security in the harbour resort seemed to be pretty good and we experienced minimal hassle on jolly beach from the usual vendors. In all honesty those that I encountered were polite and got the message pretty quick if you werent interested and once they realised you werent off a cruiseship and only visiting the beach on a day trip. The beach can get a little crowed when the Boats come to town !
One should either hire a car of get a golf buggy as the marina is a good ten minute walk away from the villa. We had some great dinners out and about, particualry at Carlisle Bay and Cocos (youll need a car or taxi for those)
Overall- probably the best value for money location we have ever stayed at in the carribean !

The agent who we collected the keys from was helpful and friendly. The villa was very clean and tidy but a few of the fittings are getting tired, i.e. The Taps in the kitchen, patio door locks and slides. Plus the air con in the main bedroom was not as efficient as the other two which made condensation form on the unit which was dripping onto the large draw/dressing table underneath it, causing damage to the varnish. There was ice building up on the pipe at the main unit outside. This was probably because it needed recharging.
It was very spacious and the equipment provided very good, one sunbed was broken but not a problem for us. It was a very comfortable villa and in a good position for the beach the use of Jolly Beach Resort Hotel and for touring the island.
The inventory was not up to date and we returned it to the agent with lots of dicrepencies.

Fabulous property, well equipped and excellent location I wouldnt hesitate to recommend. The provided fishing rods were welcomed by the kids who caught dinner on a number of occasions. Would recommend the hire of one of the golf buggies from Jolly Rentals which was about £80 for the week if you want to make full use of the resort and get to the North Beach which is quieter than the main one.

A very very good Villa, we have been lucky to go to Jolly Harbour a few times before and would have to say this is the best apointed and situated villas we have stayed in.
We would defenatly book to stay in the villa again!!!!!!! highly recomended.

We were 4 and mostly self catered so my only point is we could have done with more pots in the kitchen. Apart from that the villa was excellent well laid out good library 2 lovely bedrooms smashing dock Hey what more is there to say

Hi thanks for letting us rent your excellent villa in Jolly Harbour, its location and outlook were perfect for a family with a 10 & 7 year olds 2 min from the beach and 10 min walk from shops and supermarket, which is a lovely stroll through the well kept gardens. We will definatley be booking again for next year hope the same one is free.
NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VILLA BUT -The only thing i would like to point out is be very careful of the beach salesman one in particular called James who doesnt like giving money back if the trips are cancelled !!!

The villa was very homely and comfortable. It was in a good location, close to the beach and the other amenities and having an east facing patio was an absolute delight.
The only home comfort missing from the villa was a microwave but that didn't spoil our stay. The service from the managment company HBK was excellent. I would definitely recommend the villa to a friend and I would definitely use it again.

The villa is absolutely beautiful and well managed by the staff with regular housekeeping services. Jolly Harbour itself is also fantastic with almost every facility available you could want - nice restaurants and bars, a huge supermarket, car rental offices, internet cafe etc etc.
It probably is worth mentioning that is you are considering going to Antigua in September be warned that this is considered to be a "staff holiday month" whereby a lot of places (I would say the vast majority of bars and restaurants) close for varying lenghts of time but most for the entire month. I does make for limited shoices when it comes to options as to how you'd like to spend your evenings. Also September is the hottest month of the year in Antigua - and it's HOT. Sun Worshippers only need apply!

This was the 5th time we have stayed at Jolly Harbour Marina and although there has been changes over the years in management we found the same tranquil atmosphere and enjoyed our 2 weeks with my wife, daughter and 4year old granddaughter.This was the best villa we have stayed in, lovely furnishings and very pleasant staff.I liked very much the master shower the only thing i could fault, was that the shower head was not fixed properly.I am Antiguan and know the island well and would recommend this villa. Good value for money

Great villa, had a really enjoyable stay. Excellent location - 5 mins walk to the beach and 10 mins from pool, supermarket, restaurants etc. Maid service was included which was nice and there was lots of information in the villa to help with your stay - also the people at the villa reception were really helpful with booking taxis, car hire etc.
Villa itself is lovely - really nice big terrace looking over the water and air con throughout (very welcome!).
Jolly beach was one of the best beaches on the island that we saw - certainly better than the much busier, and smaller Dickenson Bay. Definately recommend hiring a car and driving round the island as you get to see many more beautiful places, all within easy driving distance.

Villa 231 E South Finger at Jolly Harbour, Antigua, is very nice, clean and quiet. There are beautiful sunsets in the morning and it's only a short distance to the beach and the supermarket. The people at the reception are friendly and helpfull. Everything went very well and we had a great time there.

Beautifully furnished, lovely deck with morning sun. Air-conditioning throughout was a huge bonus but agree with previous comments regarding the showers/bathrooms in need of a little upgrading to bring up to standard of the rest of the property. We have just returned (28/01/07).
Lovely beach - so large, even when busy it never felt too over-crowded. Many a happy hour spent in Castaways Beach Bar/Restaurant & CoCo's is good for views/food.
Highly recommend a visit to Harmony Hall for lunch - not cheap but well worth it for the food. Just watch out for those potholes in the roads - typical Caribbean! Would recommend hiring 4x4 due to the roads.

Property is in great shape, nicely furnished and decorated. Deck was nicer than I expected, and bigger than what the picture looked like. Very homey, super location in the South finger. It would have been nice to have a washer in the unit. I would recommend this villa.

Had very good 2 weeks , very nice villa , good situation , near to lovely beach, good supermarket on site , fun driving around Jolly Harbour in golf buggy , catamaran trips to Barbuda and around Antigua excellent. 18 hole golf course is well worth playing. But both showers in villa look in need of upgrade.
