This was an ideal villa for 2 people but definitely only two as any more would have been overcrowded. The location on top of steep climb was a challenge to drive but once you got used to it it was fine. You had a great view of the coastline from the property. The pool was nice and clean and perfect for cooling off on a hot day. We felt you could not walk to the town but you could easiy drive to the bottom of the hill and make your way from there into the town which I really enoyed. There were enough restaurants and bars to kee you entertained and it had everything you needed.
The owners of the property were very accomodating and always available if needed.

We stayed in this Villa for one week at the end of June 2009 and found it to be very clean and private. It also had private parking in the grounds of the house. The Villa was small ~ one large room with a double bed, a settee and a kitchen with gas hob, fridge and utensils/crockery a shower room and a very small box room with a single bed that we used for storage. Air conditioning was very good (0.50 euros per unit), though only in the main room. The highlight of the Villa was its terrace with its amazing views and privacy (watch out for mosquitoes). The lowlight was the shower, which although in perfect working order and clean, was so small you couldnt lift your elbows (at 6ft and 13 stone). The pool was clean and well maintained, but sadly due to the weather we didnt make a lot of use of it. The Owners live on site and were very friendly and helpful. It is located at the top of a steep hill and approx. 10 mins walk to the first supermarket, 15 mins walk to restaurants and 30 mins walk to the harbour and its many restaurants. We would recommend SISA supermarket as it was large and well stocked. We ate in Bar Agora, which has a very nice restaurant at the back (unseen from the front) with an English translated menu, good choice and huge portions. We also ate in Murhpys (near the harbour), which also had an English translated menu with a good choice of food. A word of caution, if you are not a fish lover be very careful which restaurant you chose as many offer little else. We would recommend the Villa highly to anyone who didnt regard the small size or the hill walking a problem (we didnt).
During our week long stay we managed to visit Scopello, Lo Zingaro, Segesta, Selinunte, Trapani, Marsala, Erice, Corleone (dont bother unless you happen to be passing) and Agrigento. Top tip, to walk to the harbour from the Villa turn left at the bottom of the drive and keep going until you reach the main street, then go right.

The property was in a great position with fantastic views, and just a short walk from town and the beach. Good access to main roads. Good, clean condition and the owners were very hospitable.
