We spent a marvellous time at Jasmine Villa: ideal location to visit Western Crete, very confortable house, so refreshing swimming-pool -) and a warm welcome from the owners... What else?

The location of the property is, I think, one pf its best assets. Its not far from Chania airport and is located near to the national road which allows you to easily access the rest of the island.
There is some noise from the road but thats easily beaten by the sounds from the birds in the garden. The garden and its trees are great. Its like a little oasis.
The swimming pool is a great asset. We used it every day and this was in April/May!! Watching the swallows dive for insects in the early evening was a good spectator sport but capturing them on camera was a different matter.
All in all we had a great time and would return because Chania is lovely. The house and its equipment was fine too and there are plenty of supermarkets around and eating out was a joy.

The property was basic in terms of furnishing and equipment, but I expected this for the price and thought it represented good value for money.
The property description was accurate.
The owner is friendly and approachable, and was there if we needed anything. The communication before the holiday was helpful too.
My two small boys loved the gardens, pool and water sprinklers. The pool is a good size for both playing and swimming.
I would improve the accommodation by providing more surface area and storage, as this was limited. Also by providing some ovenware and a more comfortable mattress. Otherwise the accommodation largely met our needs for a family of four.

+Very nice surroundings - even better than the pictures showed. The pool is great. We had a wonderful holiday overall. Ian is just very nice and helpful.
Suggested improvements: the kitchen equipment is a bit sparse (e.g. no wine-glasses :)
Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be great (even if there is AC)

Pool is excellent as is the general location. Villa was a bit basic but for the money it was ok - just dont expect luxury, think more charming and functional...
Very nice grounds and helpful people.
All in all quite satisfied and a great location to explore from.
