Just got back from an excellent holiday at this great villa. It had everything you could need and more. The location was great and having the use of the car meant we could explore the whole island. Jacqui and Mike were great hosts and you knew they were only a phone call away if there were any problems.

We stayed at Orchid Villa 2 for two weeks Nov/Dec 2011. Stunning villa in a stunning location - everything about the villa was fabulous with everything you could possibly need. Mike and Jacqui were very helpful throughout the holiday and only a phone call away if needed. Located in a very peaceful location yet just a drive from the buzz of Chaweng, this was a perfect holiday for us. Thank you very much Mike and Jacqui for letting us stay in your lovely villa.

Lovely house set in the hillside with distant views to the sea, all on one level, centred around a small swimming pool. Its a nice size, perfect for 4 people, with loads of space and various areas to sit and eat, inside and out. The house is halfway up a fairly steep road so the car that is provided is essential in getting around. Nearest beach is Chaweng, about 10 minutes drive. The owners, Mike and Jacqui are really helpful and any problems are quickly sorted.

This property was exactly like the pictures! Mike & Jacqui are amazing hosts - there if you need them and not if you dont lol!
The house in in an amazingly beautiful part of the island up high in the mountains where its so peaceful yet minutes away from the ring rd and Tesco!

I cannot rave enough about this property and its owners Mike and Jacqii.
Firstly they picked us up at the airport, brought us to the villa then showed us everything we needed to know.
They went out of their way to have cold beers and soft drinks and fruit waiting for us.
They left a thai phone in the house and said they were contactable any time if we had any problems which we didnt as the house is perfect and the pictures are very accurate apart from the picture of the pool which i feel dont do it justice as it is about 165cm deep and i didnt expect it to be that deep.
The location is about 12 mins drive from the main Chaweng beach but is remote enough to avoid all the hussle and bustle. My girlfriend and I felt 100% safe at all times so that is definitely not an issue.
Any queries on the place feel free to contact me, again I cant recommend the place highly enough.

Location was beautiful, although quite far away, the beach and the main attractions of Chaweng are easily accessible by taxi or a 20 minute walk. The villa had everything we needed and it was very quiet and relaxing sitting by the pool or just lounging around. I definitely recommend this villa to anybody who is interested in the future, especially couples/families looking for a chance to unwind and forget about the stress in their lives. I also recommend visiting the restaurant at Samui Best View Resort down the road - the management there is very friendly and the food is inexpensive and good.
The property owners Mike and Jacqui are extremely helpful and have pretty much everything that you need covered and provided when you get there.
Overall, we had a fantastic time in Koh Samui :)

Just returned from a 2 week stay at the Orchid Villa . The villa itself provided all we could ask for or required for a very comfortable stay on our first visit to Koh Samui. The location was ideal for us being in a very quiet but scenic location, but only a 10 minute drive into centre of Chaweng to sample the many delightful restaurants on hand.
Hosts Jacqui and Mike made sure we had all we required arranging airport transfers, car hire and golf during our stay.
The question we ask ourselves when reviewing accomodation is, would we go back ?. The answer on this occasion is." Without any hesitation".
If your planning a visit to Koh Samui then you wont go far wrong if you stay at Orchid Villa 2

"We had a lovely 2 week stay in a great villa to recharge ourselves . The villa was as described, very clean and well maintained. Jacqui and Mike were available when needed but left us alone which was perfect for us. Weve stayed places before when you get daily visits that get a bit intrusive! The villa is in a quiet location in the hills behind Chaweng - so quiet but within easy driving distance of the beaches, sights and restaurants in Samui. We would be more than happy to stay here again and would recommend the villa to others looking for a stay in Samui" - Paul and Ali, durham.

A very beautiful house with all what you need : beach towels, lot of DVDs, a cellular phone ..... A lot of confort and tranquility 10 min far from Chaweng beach. Owners are very nice and not intrusive. They think at all for you
: shuttle between house and the airport, drink ... Thats what we need in holidays.
I definitely recommend to rent this house in koh Samui.
Une maison magnifique idéalement située à 10 min de chaweng Beach avec tout le confort : rien na été oublié, du seche cheveux aux serviette de plage en passant par le téléphone portable "au cas ou" ou la collection de DVD. Les propriétaire sont tres sympathiques et savent se faire descret. Bien entendu je recommande à tout ceux qui cherchent un peu de calme tout en restant proche des lieux animés de Koh Samui.

Myself and Katherine would like to thank you both so very much for such a wonderful time we had.
Our expectations were well exceeded becuase of you both.
Nothing was any trouble for you and anytime we contacted you, your replies and actions were very swift and professional.
The villa was fabulousm away from the noisy action yet so close to the noisy action, it was absolutely perfect.
Oh and also a big thank you for joining us on our wedding day.
Katherine and I are looking forward to seeing you again in December.
Anybody thinking of Samui give Jacqui or Mike a call and I promise you will have the time of your life.

The villa was absolutely fantastic.
It is located on a wonderful hillside location which provides a private, exclusive feel to the property.
The villa was immaculate in every way.
Couldnt recommend enough and will definately return.
