  • Outside, the private pool (which is cleaned twice per week) has 6 high quality sun loungers and tables for your drinks. On the outside patio, there is a dining table with 6 chairs and a gas fired Outback BBQ. There is also table tennis/ping pong table with 4 paddles for guests to enjoy. There is an outside shower next to the pool which we respectfully request guests to use each time before entering the swimming pool in order to remove excess sweat and sun tan lotion, which discolour the water and promote the growth of algae. The garden has been designed by a landscape gardener and contains plants and flowers typical of the area. An automated irrigation system waters the plants every day. A pair of two way radios with rechargeable batteries is also provided to help keep down those mobile phone bills when your party is split between the swimming pool and nearest beach. For those with young children, please note that, as is common in Cyprus, there is not any fencing around the pool.

We stayed at Villa Mara in June 2010 and found it very spacious, with very good amenities, a nice pool, sun all day, good local restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Mr and Mrs Martin, England

We visited Villa Mara in May 2010 for ten days and found it an attractive, very well appointed and equipped villa, with comfortable furnishings and a relaxing atmosphere. The terrace/barbecue area provided an excellent place for dining and we especially enjoyed breakfast in the open air each morning in the sunshine. A dip before lunch in the pretty pool area was most welcome. There were a number of very beautiful bays and beaches nearby and we took a short boat ride from one. We also took a scenic drive to the Troodos mountain area, which being somewhat cooler, was good for easy walking. We enjoyed a number of good, very friendly restaurants, a number of which were within walking distance of the villa which we found so welcome on arrival after our flight. We found interesting towns within easy reach and nearby Agia Napa boasted attractive and good restaurants: we especially liked the family friendly Limanara which is situated on the coastal road. The owners provided a very useful information sheet before we departed and it was good to find that the local management company was most helpful and really did appear very quickly when needed. In April 2011 we visited Villa Mara and had a wonderful holiday. The villa is comfortably fitted out for a family and in a great location for beaches, restaurants and other activities. The directions and other information given in advance meant our journey went smoothly, and the management company was very helpful whilst we were there. In July 2010 we visited Villa Mara and had a fantastic holiday. The villa is well appointed for a family and in a great location for nearby beaches. The bus stop on the main road (2 mins walk) is ideal for those who wish to get about Cyprus without the use of a hire car. The management agency is located close by and the staff are very helpful.
