Review submitted by James from Aberdeen - (Submitted: 24/07/2012) "The property was amazing, everything you need. The location is superb. We like quiet and out of the way so it suited us perfectly, there is everything you need in Polis which is only a 10 min drive and if you want more its too far to Paphos. There are some lovely restaurants and tavernas in Polis, try Finikas, Moustakallas and Chix Chos, all very good and the staff are very attentive. There are plenty in Latsi too but they are slightly more expensive. Take a drive up the Troodos mountains, the views are spectacular. The service provided by Letsrentonline.com was as usual very good!

First class villa with a great outlook, private pool & all facilities. Well maintained. Car is essential but a great way to see around the area. Gary very knowledgeable on the area for restaurants/visits etc. Visit ONiros for sunset/tapas & Last Castle for lunch.Bakery in Peyia excellent as is Peyia Tavern & The Grand, behind the old jail in Peyia

Review submitted by Sandra from Eastleigh, Hampshire - (Submitted: 11/08/2012) "The villa was as good as in previous years - beautifully clean and well equipped. It is very quiet and in an excellent location. We all lead hectic lives and this is an ideal place for all the family to get together and just relax. We spent the day at Latchi which has a beautiful beach. The trip from Peyia is interesting over the winding roads with wonderful scenery. We visited the Last Castle near Peyia for the first time - amazing views and very good reasonably priced food. We also loved Agios Georgious - so pretty and the St Georges restaurant does an excellent fish meze. The Peyia Taverna also an excellent meze of traditional cypriot food. Very satisfied over the three years we have been dealing with LetsRentOnline. Gary and Louise were as helpful as ever - it wss like meeting with old friends. Andy and his taxi also as reliable as ever.

Review submitted by Kerry from Torquay- (Submitted: 07/09/2011) "We would just like to say what an amazing holiday we had staying at Villa Stella in Peyia, the property was beautiful a real home from home with the most amazing views and everything we could ask for to make it a very special, relaxing break. The location itself was just a short car trip to Coral Bay and Paphos for a lively night/day out with Peyia being quieter but with a few bars and restaurants in which we wiled away many a happy evening. The Last Castle restaurant does a great BBQ lunch with the most spectacular views, a bit of a bumpy road up there but well worth it. Suggest a day in the Troodos Mountains a long drive,I think we took the B road and managed to navigate through some authentic Greek Cypriot villages, but well worth it to see the spectacular countryside. Take a trip into Paphos which has a very pretty harbour area and visit Tomb of the Kings if into archaeology as you can really get close up to see everything. We would like to congratulate you for your very efficient, helpful service. This was the first time we had booked online and I must say you made it an easy process and helped all the way, always returning our emails promptly. The services of the local manager was great, we found him and his wife really friendly and very helpful with suggestions on places to visit and eat etc. The Villa was immaculately presented and very comfortable. We would certainly like to return to Cyprus and would rent the Villa Stella or another of your villas without hesitation. Thanks. Kerry and Dale.

Review submitted by Sarah from Henlow - (Submitted: 02/09/2011) "The property was lovely, everything you would expect from a holiday villa, very spacious, clean and modern with plenty of outside space and not overlooked at all. The location was fine for us. It could be a little remote if you didnt have a car and there isnt really anywhere within reasonable walking distance, but loved Peyia and lovely views too. So many to mention, but we loved the Peyia Tavern in the village for traditional Cypriot food and experience, Saavas grill on a Tuesday for the Greek dancing night, The Grande and The Brewery in Peyia, snack bars but very good. La Vigna the Italian at Coral Bay strip was excellent, all places up at Kathikas - Imogens Inn, Etc. The Last Castle on way out to Lara was lovely, very remote and traditional. We preferred Coralia beach as it was quieter, but the Coral Bay beach has very good waves! All the water sports were very well maintained and organised and well worth doing. The Aphrodite Water Park, good fun family day out. As an agent, you were very informative, excellent directions to property also. Gary & Louise were great too, Gary helped enormously over the lighting problems that we had, and kept pool very well maintained. We hope to book for next year soon.

A lovely property, well situated for Peyia and Coral Bay, very clean and well maintained, lovely pool benefiting from the sun all day long ! not directly overlooked, Close to good supermarkets, would recommend to friends. As with most villas in the area a car is essential, look forward to hopefully going back for another stay !

High spec., well equipped villa with lovely views. Booking went really smoothly and all our questions were answered. Louise who manages the property was very helpful. For eating out locally would recommend Sophies (in Peyia town) and Poliomonastrio Taverna (bottom of the hill - exit from the coast road) for good value excellent food.

Nice Villa with a homely atmosphere. Car is a must though. Stayed here in November - Weather was fabulous. Area was quiet as holiday season was drawing to a close. Enjoyed a relaxing time here. Many thanks to Gary and Steven for their help during our stay.

Lovely Villa , roomy and all internal fitting are top qulaity. Very handy to have wi-fi and UK TV channels too. Very private and sun in pool area all dat due to its location with no other properties either side or in front. Property manager , Louise , was very helpful. Only downside is that you have to drive / taxi everywhere as all the local amenities are 30 mins + walk away and is very hilly. Overall an excellant villa.

This property was excellent, a very convenient location near the beach and village of Peyia, however a car is essential as although only a few miles to the facilities it is to far to walk and hilly! The villa was very well appointged and it was an ideal place to relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Aug 09, found villa to be comfortable, clean & well equiped. The pool was lovely & well maintained by Gary. The pool side area was completly private & the views down to the sea were stunning. We hired a car & found that most places were easy to get to with a well stocked supermarket only 5 mins away. Plenty of resturants to cater for all tastes in Pathos or Coral bay. The beach at Coral bay was clean & sandy with plenty of water sports. Over all we had a lovely 2 weeks & would recommend villa stella with its great location & comfort for anyone seeking a relaxing holiday.

Excellent location Fantastic views from all room and pool area Nice and quite area with only the sound of the birds to listen to Large pool with lovely sun loungers and outside furniture Very well equipped villa - all your home comforts Excellent villa management team You do need a car as too far to walk to shops/beach/bars/restaurant Excellent base for day trips, tomb of the kings, kato paphos, St Georges bay,Latchi/Polis, waterfalls and baths - some great drives up the mountains Some great restaurants nearby especially the Goose and Garlic. Beaches are nice, dark sand and lots of secluded rocky bays to be explored. Near nice village of Peyia, church, supermarket, bakery and bars/restaurant - not so touristy 3 min drive Coral Bay itself have all the bars and restaurants you normally find on a main strip - 5 min drive

We stayed at Villa Stella in June and were extremely happy with the standard. We returned in September and whilst Gary & Louise continue to be extremely helpful and came very speedily to replace light bulbs and gas bottle for bbq, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the property this time.  We did pass on this feedback to Gary when he visited. It is such a shame as the property is furnished to a high standard and the cleanliness has let it down Im afraid.

Owner reply:
Hi Karen,

Many thanks for your review. I have spoken to Gary and Louise about some of these issues and would respond as follows:

All the laundry goes to a professional launderette where they use a particular product to remove stains however certain skin/sun products do stain the linen. We can assure you that the linen for this booking came straight from the launderette and was put on the beds, (including the mattress cover). Many apologies. The cleaners hoovered and mopped the floors as usual and we checked the entire villa before your arrival. We do not accept that the floors were dirty. You reported that the A/C not cooling. It was checked and was working perfectly. You insisted on a new gas bottle which Gary swapped, the one in place was only weeks old and is still in use elsewhere now. When Gary came to see you off, he asked for feedback there and then and these issues were raised. Your exact words were I know I am an extremely fussy person but I dont feel it was quite as clean as the last time we stayed. We have had no other complaints regarding cleanliness at any of our villas this year however we must accept any criticism and do our utmost to keep our standards high. Its very disappointing when we get poor feedback from guests as we try very hard to make sure everything is done correctly and we have had no other complaints from guests at this villa. I hope that as you say things will be more to your satisfaction should you return again next year as also discussed on departure. Thanks very much again.

We have been travelling to Cyprus for many years and this is one of the best villas we have stayed in. Its position is excellent, very well furnished and all of a very high standard. The villa is exceptionally well managed by Louise & Gary they were both very friendly and helpful. Weve already booked to return in 11 weeks time!

Having been slightly concerned about self catering for the first time, we were more than pleased with the way we were looked after. All our requests were fulfilled and the villa was even better than described. We enjoyed being in Peyia and Paphos and hope to return again in the not too distant future.

Fantastic Villa! had everything we wanted, finished to a very high stantard. What you see on the website is what the apartment is like fantastic I would recommend to a friend and go back myself It's a 20 min walk to the village Peyia up a hill. Local taxi are great! they can run you anywhere £5 to the village from the villa or £5 to Coral Bay so a car is not really needed Overall Fantastic hoilday

This is a beautifully furnished and very well equipped house within easy driving distance of everything we wanted to see and do. The pool area is a bit exposed as the house is in a residential area (very quiet) but this will soon be solved as the shrubs grow. We were warmly met by Gary & Louise and Gary attended the pool during our stay. Steven from my cyprus lets kindly called at the start of our visit to see that all was well ... with some nice wine too!! Otherwise we were left to ourselves to enjoy the holiday which is exactly how we like it!!!
