Lovely studio apartment in the middle of a quiet little town in the hills of Provence. Does exactly what it says on the tin & ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside. Very quiet at nightime with nothing open past ten but we were there at Easter & it may well be livelier during the summer. Rental car essential for travelling around the surrounding area. Some fine eateries in the town & we ate very well while there. Ideal for couples on a relaxing holiday. Only negative was that the internet didnt work after day 1. Overall a very enjoyable experience in rural Provence.

studio mimosa was just as described. very comfortable and clean with plenty of room for two. perfect position for boulangerie and the restaurants were all in easy access. the street cleaner every morning is very noisy - but not too bad after three or four nights and you come to expect it. we did find that at the end of the season the local bars all close by 8pm and the restaurants are a bit hit and miss with opening times also. the best restaurant we found was la salle a manger which is just across the square. the food here is delicious and well worth a visit or two. it is definately easy access for visiting the surrounding villages.

Studio Mimosa was an excellent base to explore the surrounding villages and Lac St Croix. The studio was actually quite a bit larger than it appeared in the photographs, was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a one week trip. It was lovely to eat breakfast on the table overlooking the square. All in all we thought it was excellent value for money. Flayosc is a very pretty village there are quite a few bars and restaurants and several boulangeries and shops to buy food for picnics etc..

This property was really pleasant. The directions and instructions were great. The locality was superb and the restaurants in the village was great. The only down size was the noise, not of the bar but of the steet cleaners in the middle of the night. The studio was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen was adequate as we did not cook too much at home. It is great to sit by the window and listen to the babble of people in the square. We had a problem with the shower and the drainage but am sure that can be sorted. I would highly recommend this property for a couple, it is a unique studio in a lovely village.

A beautiful studio apartment right in the heart of a typically atmospheric Provencal village. We thought the decor and furnishing was spot on for the location, adding to the overall feeling of being in Provence.
Flayosc proved to be an ideal location to strike out and explore the Var region
Thoroughly recommended!

We felt very at home from the moment we entered studio mimosa and were given a warm welcome by Murielle who was just leaving as we arrived!
We were comfortable and had everything we needed and the ambience of the flat helped us to soak up the atmosphere of the locality
had a wonderful time exploring the area and would definately return.
All the locals made us feel very welcome and despite our distinct lack of the language, couldnt have been more helpful.

The studio was over a very busy bar which wasnt mentioned in the review so dont bank on getting an early night.
However, Flayosc is a beautiful hill-top village and Mimosa is in the heart of it.
The studio itself was spot on and gave us the rustic ambience we were looking for. Everything functioned as it should and everything was clean.
It is unlikely I will use rental systems again though. In this day and age of instant communications I am staggered in takes up to a month to refund a deposit. Clearly Rental-Systems has an alterier motive for keeping your money for so long and in future I will use a company that values their customers more.

Studio Mimosa is a charming accomodation, perfect for 2 people. Although the building is very old, the studio has been modernized for comfort and convenience, without detracting from the quaintness. We appreciated the washing machine and found most everything we needed for our stay. The central square is very convenient with shops and restaurants practically at the doorstep. The town is very central for exploring the Var region as well as day trips to the Verdun Gorges and the coastal ports.

We stayed at Studio Mimosa for a friends wedding. It was perfect for what we needed. It was very central and very comfortable. The only thing i would have asked for is a duvet, we only had a sheet which proved to be rather cold for October! Otherwise it had everything we needed and I would highly recommend it. As you are in the square it can be a bit noisy in the early hours when the bars/restauarnts are taking deliveries/setting up but it did not bother us that much. We would defintely return if we visited the area.

It was exactly what we wanted. The position and the accommodation were fabulous. Many restuarants and food outlets and the people were very friendly. Everything was as descibed and we really enjoyed our stay.

Just exactly what we wanted, bijou but not cramped, well appointed and a great location for exploring. Make sure you visit La Gorge Du Verdon if you stay here and Le Lac de Ste Croix.

Superb location at a very reasonable price. We really enjoyed the appartment, the only slight niggle was the temperature which, due to it being an exceptionally hot week, did not dro p below boiling point all week!! All in all a thoughrouly enjoyable week that we are already thinking of repeating in the not too distant future.

A beautiful property overlooking the village square, loads of cafes, restaurants and bars to choose from as well as well stocked shops and markets. A fantastic base for exploring Provence.

We stayed for 4 days and would have liked a replacement of towels after say two days. The climate is very humid and the towels don't dry. The curtains allow too much light from the square at night. Darker curtains will help.
We enjoyed the stay in this little quite town of Flayosc.
Owner reply:
Thanks for the feedback. We will leave extra towels in future and see what we can do about the curtains.

The property is exactly as described in the pictures. It is good value for money. The bed is comfortable and with the windows closed, the studio is fairly quiet. It's a great location for exploring in any direction. The village itself offers a reasonable choice in terms of food and you can find the basics, including newspapers from England, within easy walking distance.

The studio apartment was exactly as described and set in the heart of Flayosc, with plenty of neighbouring villages and activites. A very relaxing stay and great weather, thanks.

This first part is more of a message and not to be used in the review.
Both my wife and myself suffered mild electric shocks when in the bathroom, especially when having a shower. I discovered that there is a small potential (voltage) between the taps/pipework feeding the shower/sink and the floor and porcelain of the sink itself.
I would recommend that a competent electrician be called in to test the installation before the situation gets any worse.
It is, in my experience, hard to find competent electricians who are good at fault finding and troubleshooting so if the electrician who tests the property says there is nothing wrong with the installation please get in touch with me as soon as possible.
Regarding the apartment itself, absolutely marvellous. Exactly what it says on the tin. The locals are extremely friendly. A brilliant base from where to visit Marseille, Monte Carlo, Canne, St Tropez and of course The Alps. I'm depressed now I'm back home and long to be in Flayosc.
Regards. Chris Kerrigan
Owner reply:
Thanks for the feedback Chris. We have fitted a new, larger, hot water heater. This has solved the problem. Cheers Adrian
