This is a charming property that is tastefully decorated and furnished. John and Sharon were welcoming and available if you needed them. We didnt need to contact them as everything was catered for. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to the centre and the beach. The shopping and restaurants were brilliant. For a city centre apartment we were surprised at how quiet it was as there was some traffic noise but nothing that bothered us.

Very nice/helpful, owner met us there. A real gem in a lovely location. Definitely recommend & would love to stay there again.

We were really looking forward to staying in this beautiful part of Nice and we were not disappointed. Great location, Apartment is in the Musicians area of Nice, close to the tram on Ave Jean Medicin, a short walk down Rue Alphonse Karr brings you to the pesdestrian area,  Rue Massena, also not too far from main railway station. The owner met us on our arrival, was very helpful and showed us around the apartment. A lovely traditional French apartment very spacious, comfortable and warm. We had a couple of wet days and it was lovely to return to such a homely place and put your feet up. Staying in the area gave you a lovely taste of French daily life, hope to return soon!

Spent a week in this lovely, clean and quite spacious two-bedroom town apartment in central Nice. Forth floor, three balconies, high ceilings, large bedrooms, fantastic shower, spectacular entrance, in a well kept grand building. Coming home with a baguette, wine and some French cheese, take the historic elevator upstairs and sit on the balcony and watch everyday life gave us the most authentic feeling of belonging ... The apartment exceeded our high expectations and comes forward as a good bargain. Suits a family with older children or two adult couples. We would love to go back.

Palais des Fleur really made our holiday in Nice. What a lovely apartment and so near to everything: supermarkets, transport & the sea. The owners met us at the apartment which we found reassuring as this gave us the chance to ask questions about the area. We were also told to ring them if we had any problems which again was very reassuring. I have already told family and friends about this wonderful apartment and if we go back to Nice then we would stay here again. The only thing that I feel could be improved would to be to have air conditioning installed - we were there in September and the fans that are supplied were sufficient but in he high summer I could imagine they may not suffice.

A lovely apartment in a great location, so handy for the shops, sights, museums and public transport. Everything was fresh and clean both inside the apartment and in the buildings common areas. Neighbours very charming and quiet. We found it a joy to come back to after a hard days sightseeing, and English TV and WiFi was very welcome. Booking and key collection went smoothly. There is very little wrong with this apartment but if I were being picky I would say there are not enough hooks/rails in the bathroom for 4 peoples towels and it would be good to have more crockery, cutlery etc as would save putting the dishwasher on too often. Also I think soap, cleaning materials, enough toilet rolls etc should be provided - would be happy to pay a bit more to avoid having to shop for such items on holiday! All in all though a wonderful place to stay in beautiful Nice and we would definitely return.

We stayed for 5 days in Les Palais des Fleurs . The apartment is very well situated for everything, the train, the bus to the airport which is so convenient, the restaurants etc. Its a lovely apartment, very clean and really just as described. Mr Millington met us at the apartment and was very friendly and helpful. To be able to leave our cases was a bonus as we arrived around midday so we were able to meander off around Nice. There was some slight traffic noise from the road but then again you are in a town!! Overall we would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely apartment.

We had an excellent time in Nice, the accomodation and amenities in it were perfect and ideally located. It was within easy walking distance of the train station, bus station , the tram and all of Nices main attractions. If there was one thing that could have been improved it would be the provision of a wardrobe instead of a garment hanging rail in the double bedroom.

The property is well appointed with plenty of space. It is within easy walking distance of the main shopping area, railway station and the Promenade Des Anglais. It is worth noting that the property is situated in a very quiet residential block and the residents expect there to be no noise after 10pm.

Very good value for money. Great location. The flat has everything we needed (great to have a separate room for the washing machine/clothes airer/ironing board). Mr. Millington was very friendly and helpful when we phoned to ask a question about the cooker hob.

Was it good value for money? Yes.. Did it meet your expectations? Not entirely. Looked like it hadnt been occupied for a while, we needed to dust the table and chairs before dining, dust under couches. Playing relay with one set of keys for the first four days handicapped our initial forays into the local area, constant liaison amongst two couples as to who would be home to let in whom was an unnecessary impost. Caretaker should have been instructed to hand over extra set of keys on day one instead of day four, particularly as the request was initially made days prior to arrival. Was the description accurate? No, not luxury but, seeing the rate charged, I did not have this expectation. Describing it as "luxury accommodation" is a misnomer, these were not luxury rates so not disappointed. If luxury rates were charged to suit the website description, it would not meet expectations. Decorating with Ikea finishes and fittings from cheap cutlery to flimsy dining room table and chairs, average bedding, this does not equate to luxury. shoddy towels, theyve seen a better life! The fitout lets down the standard of the building. Would you recommend it to a friend? Yes but with the stipulation that you get what you pay for and this is not 4 star accommodation. Were you adequately looked after during your stay? No, caretaker let us in and fled down the stairs without any introduction to facilities. We found the booklet on how to run the washing machine on day 5 (bottom drawer below the oven!) after wed struggled with interpreting the settings and endured an excessively long wash 3 days earlier. 3 garbage bags for a 10 day stay and no dishwasher soap is not useful and certainly not luxury worthy. If the owner wants us to look after her apartment, then dont be so mean with supplying cleaning products. PS. we bought missing items and happily left them for the next occupants, I hope the caretaker leaves them for them.

Owner reply:
Thank you for taking the time to write your review.

Following your comments we have completely re organised our linen policy. All towels are to be newly replaced ever 3 months regardless of condition. Tighter controls on condition of linens are now in place.
Two sets of keys are always now in place for our customers.

The cleaner also now leaves a bigger selection of cleaning products. However do not and never have expected anyone to clean on their holiday!

This apartment is in an ideal location. Within walking distance of most of the main attractions in Nice. A good base for exploring further as the train station is only a stroll away. A Viator day tour picked us up at the door and we had a fabulous day in Monaco. Italy is also close on the train. The apartment was quiet and comfortable with all needs catered for. It also was very secure and safe. I would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return ourselves one day.

As others have indicated, this apartment is situated ideally for exploring Nice and surrounding areas (Monaco, Eze, Vence) etc. with no need for a vehicle. Its a light and spacious apartment, most comfortable, and the owner was helpful to us. We would return!

What a lovely traditional French apartment which is ideally situated for site seeing in the centre of Nice. The location also provides easy access to shops, bars, beach facilities and the railway station. We travelled to Cannes, Monaco and even into Northern Italy for the day. The French public transport system is spot on for value and punctuality.

Our stay at Le Palais des Fleurs was superb! The building is so beautifully french and the appartment is very comfortable with everything you require to enjoy your stay. (We paricularly loved the four poster bedroom! Beautiful!) The location could really not be much better, as the proximatey to the train station, the beach and promenade, the shops, and restaurants really enhances the holiday. A definite place to return to!!

Well located, close to shops, restaurants, & only 10 mins from the beach. The apartment itself could do with a bit of a makeover, having said that it was adqeuately equipped & the 3 balconies gave access to the atmosphere of Nice. We felt it was good value for money & would recommend anyone visiting Nice who is not a millionaire.

Great part of Nice - a short walk from the Gare de Nice so it is easy to travel. Monoprix at the end of the street for groceries and a few blocks from great restaurants. Lots of space, good sized bedrooms and lovely balconies. Would definitely use it again if in Nice.

A great choice for anyone spending a few days on the French Riviera. The apartment was very convenient for access to the train station and local shops and a large area of Nice was in easy walking distance. All of the booking arrangements went without a hitch and keys were promptly delivered with clear and concise instructions. The apartment was in excellent condition and very comfortable for 4 adults to share with all the amenities required for a short break. Overall, an excellent choice for our first visit to Nice and somewhere we would not hesitate to choose again in the future.

The owner explained eveything about access to the property before we got there which made things so simple. The old fashioned lift intrigued my mother of 77years. The supermarket was within walking distance and every morning my husband sped off to collect the croissants and bread on his own. I would recommend this property to anyone who loves the south of France as we do. It was just like coming home, comfortable, clean and everything to hand that you could possibly want. Thanks for a wonderful holiday - we will certainly be back.

The apartment is in a lovely building and is furnished pleasantly , in a very convenient location . We had assumed that the apartment would have airconditioning and it was extemely hot - a phonecall to the owner however brought action beyond the call of duty in that he arrived with a fan - which made all the difference . A great stay ,all in all .

This was our second stay at the property as we found it an excellent option for a family visit to Nice. The price compared even to budget hotels is good when travelling with another couple to share the cost. The location is excellent close to rail network, restaurants and supermarket. The apartment facilities are ideal when travelling with a child with a large supermarket at the end of the street. This property more than met our expectations being clean and spacious and gave us a real taste of French living in the city centre. Have recommended this property to friends who have also since booked and would recommend to others.

This was our first time in Nice and we wanted apartment situated centrally. The apartment was very cozy and all the amenities were included. Bathroom whirlpool behaved a little strange, and the water reached the floor too easily, but otherwise stay in this beautiful old elegant house apartment was very nice. Balconies on both sides of a house were small but offered a beautiful view. Certainly we will be back again next time we arrive in Nice.

We spent a week in Nice with two teenagers in February. The apartment felt like home, it was warm and beautiful. The food store was close and it was easy to walk everywhere. We received the keys and enough information soon after the reservation. It was easy to find the apartment. The owner answered to our emails quickly. We have already recommended the apartment to our friends. Nice is definitely worth visiting.

The apartment is in a very good location, convenient to train station, trams, shops, cafes, movie theatres. The apartment is well maintained and met our expectations. It has a wonderful full kitchen, 3 balconies and a spa bathtub. The soundproof windows keeps the street noise below including 2 am garbage trucks pick-ups to a minimum. The only drawback during our stay was the noisy neighbors who got into yelling matches at 2 am or so a couple of the nights we were there. Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable vacation was greatly enchanced even more by our staying at the apartment.

This property was exceptionally well situated, being only a short walk from both the station and the main shopping street, whilst also having easy access to the nearest tram stop. The apartment itself was very spacious and also well equipped - the three balconies were a useful feature. Whilst the building of which the apartment was part had lots of character and charm. I would use this property again, if I returned to Nice.

We could not fault this apartment, it was in the perfect location, and exquisitely french in everyway, exactly the kind of apartment you should stay in, very spacious and bright, both bedrooms beautiful in everyway, having balconys from each room was a real treat and we sat at night by the balcony with a glass of wine, we are all over 70 and had no issues with noise at night or any other complaints. I would recommend this apartment to people of all ages and families, we will definetly return and my daughter is planning to book it for next year. And the top it all off I thought it was excellent value for money in Nice.

The apartment was simply perfect for our requirements. Located in close proximity to everything. Easy to locate. I think that if you want to experience more of the french life as opposed to just a hotel room in the main tourist quarters then this apt is for you. Catch the direct 99 bus from the airport to the Gare de Nice and a short 6 min walk you are there. Couldnt be simpler. Buy a carte de 7 jours & day travel pass) at the office for 15 euros just outside the airport arrival doors at the bus station and it allows you unlimited travel on the bus and tram network. Thanks to this we saw an awful lot of Nice and surrounding areas very easily. The Monoprix supermarket is well stocked and convenient - just head left outside the apt building to the juncition with Ave Jean Medecin and there it is in front of you! It was a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay and the apartment was just the icing on the cake. Only thing lacking in the apartment was a cafertière but then who can beat sipping coffee or an afternoon rosé in wonderful sunshine at a street café whilst watching the world go by! I am glad we discovered you. We shall definitely be booking again in the future.

For those travelling by train, the central location of the apartment is excellent. The flat is situated in the 4th floor in a lovely typical french building. A supermarket and the post office is near by the house. The flat has 3 large rooms and a modern bath and kitchen. We very much enjoyed our stay (2 adults and 12year old daughter). Staying in the apartment in summer we sometimes missed an air condition at night.

The flat was centrally located and was walking distance to all the shops, restauant, tram and the train station. It was discretly furnished with a cheerful atmosphere. The only discomfort was the shower in the bathroom and the shower curtain. There was a flood after each shower. If you raise the shower and install a plexiglass shower door the apartment would be perfect. Overall, the weather was good but windy. I left the apartment spotless. I hope you were satisfied with the way we left it. Do you have a flat in Paris for the monthe of June?
