Apartment located in the fourth and last floor of a residential apartment building in first water front line, in the fishing village of Fuzeta, enjoying a magnificent sea view of the Ria Formosa and the Armona Island. Nearest beach us 200 m distant, as well as the ferry crossing to Fuzeta (Mar) beach. Through a speacial agreement, guests at this apartment benefit from a 50% reduction in sunloungers and parasols at Guenan, the Fuzeta (Mar) beach. Fuzeta is 8 km to Olhão, 25 km to Faro and 30 km to the international airport.

Apartment is served by an elevator, easily but completely furnished and consists of 1 double room, living room with a sofa bed, satellite TV, DVD, radio CD and dining area, balcony with uninterrupted sea view and table and chairs, equipped kitchenette and one complete bathroom.

The local town
Fuzeta is a small town in the Ria Formosa. Fishing boats leave from one end of the quay, small pleasure boats and the ferry to the island from the other. Its sleepy in winter, busy for about a month in summer. It has a street market on Thursdays and a flea market on the first Sunday of every month.

It has a small lagoon beach in the town and a very long and lovely ocean beach on the island. It has a campsite by the quay and two train stations. The highlight of the year in Fuzeta is the Festival in Honour of our Lady of Carmo in July. It is a religious festival in which a statue of Our Lady of Livramento is taken out on the water in search of Our Lady of Carmo, the ceremony acting as a blessing for the towns fishermen for the next year. Many boats participate in the procession, all decorated with flags and flowers, all sounding horns and hooters. The procession leaves the harbour in Fuzeta and goes as far as the barra - the gap between the island via which the fishing boats reach the ocean. There are religious services and general celebrations at night on each of the three days of the festival.
