The house

This is a beautiful house of a superior standard, perfect for house parties and large families. It has four decent sized bedrooms, a very comfortable living room, and an impressive shady courtyard leading to the front door. The mature garden means that the pool is completely private. It feels as if you are in the middle of nowhere, but in fact this house is just five minutes walk in to the middle of the town. This is a huge bonus as so many houses in this area are set high up with a steep long walk into the village. There is no need for a hire car unless you want to explore further afield.

This is not your run-of-the-mill house. It is something special, and the service we offer reflects that. You will be met personally and introduced to the area by our knowledgeable representative. There is a 24 hour emergency phone number provided - essential if you have a crisis or just need suggestions for your next restaurant.

The house will be cleaned weekly and laundry change included in the price. Beach towels are provided for use round the pool. There are several sun loungers, a hammock, and lots of shade too under the mature trees.

We are also very geared up to children and infants. We can provide cots, high chairs, a steriliser, various toys and stair gates if required. Plus - and this is essential - there is a 90 cm high fence right round the pool with bolted gates for access - the only house we have seen with a fence round the pool. The owners of this house have 3 year old twins, so they know what is needed.

There are lots of extras included to make your stay easier and more relaxing, such as a comprehensive welcome pack waiting for you, which includes a bottle of chilled wine, tea, coffee, water, milk, sugar, cereal, butter, bread, jam, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, biscuits, and crisps.

The surrounding area
Gocek is the jewel of the Mediterranean and is a sailing centre. It is both small and yet sophisticated and has overtones of Antibes. A car is not necessary as it is only 5 minutes walk, on the level, into the village, but the house is in a good position for exploring the area. It is only 20 minutes from Dalaman airport. The beaches of Dalyan and Olu Deniz are both about half an hour away, and the new Golf course at Sarigerme, which will be open in 2011 is approximately 30 minutes from here.

The 12 island boat trips leave from the harbour every day. They take in many bays and islands and include lunch onboard, all for a reasonable rate. You can charter your own yacht, skippered or by yourselves and explore the pristine bays of Skopea Limani. Take a leisurely day down the Dalyan river below the magnificent rock tombs, or explore the ancient ruins of Caunos. Fethiye market is vibrant and lively and only 20 minutes away. Or for the more intrepid, a couple of hours drive to Ephesus to explore the internationally renowned ruins there, and site of one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. We guarantee that you will rush back to your wonderful paradise house in Gocek after your expedition to flop into the georgeous pool. You have to explore the area to know for sure that you are staying in best place.

The house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, a barbeque. If you are driving there is a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
