This house is magnificent! We were here for our honeymoon and found the island and the Meli house to be the perfect relaxing, romantic setting. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen and the wood-burning oven, relaxing in your beautiful garden, and taking the bikes out for a scenic ride. Thank you most of all for your incredible hospitality - for your suggestions of which beaches to go to, the amazing Rachi restaurant and the fun winery tour. Dear Elena & Argie, Thank you for your hospitality and help during our vacations. The house is lovely and was equipped with everything we could want and more. We loved the peace and quiet and the mornings in the garden, with the flowers and the mountain view. The beaches on Lefkada are great, we especially liked Afteli which was so secluded and small. Thank you very much for your hospitality. We loved everything about your house, great style, authenticity, beautiful garden, nice area. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit disappointing but that gives us all the more reason to come back again to enjoy the beaches to their fullest potential. We also enjoyed biking the path you described, good exercise! We'll meet again! P.S. I almost forgot to mention for people who read this: we used the oven outside to make pizza, amazing!

We had a fantastic week swimming in the turqoise sea, building castles with the white stones, eating fish and greek salad, and drinking Mythos. We are all brown and relaxed. This house was the most perfect place to wake up in and come back to at the end of the day. Thank you.

Giorno di partenza. L'unico "brutto" di una meravigliosa permanenza. Siamo stati colpiti dalla bellezza e dall' incanto di questa isola e, soprattutto, della vostra calda accoglienza. Non é mai facile pronosticare un ritorno. La nostra vita non é detto che ce lo permetta. Sicuramente porteremo nel nostro cuore il ricordo di questa vacanza in "casa Meli". Ciao a tutti.

Je retrouve la Grèce de mes souvenirs (il y a 30 ans!)..., l' appel desespéré de l' âne au petit matin, le chaut omniprésent des cigales, le bouzouki au coeur de la unit le corps et visage usé des veuves, les petits monastères perdus dans les oliviers.. le charme de votre maison si bien conçue, si accueillante, si confortable. Merci pour les moments de pérénité.

Wonderful place also for children, To be rent for at least a week. One advice: kitchen should be used (even though there are so nice tavernas around..).
