My partner and I really enjoyed living in Old Town. The neighborhood of the property was very friendly and quiet. Claudia was very helpful with local information, restaurant suggestions, where to shop for groceries, fresh fruit, etc. She also helped us book a rental car and transportation to the airport.

The maisonette is in a superb location. The owner was very accommodating - very friendly and frequently asked how we were and how we were getting on. An enjoyable stay.

ab ca. 7.00 Uhr ist das Geräusch und mitunter der Geruch der zahlreichen vorbeifahrenden Mofas teilweise etwas lästig, wobei diese Fahrzeuge in ganz Rhodos verkehren und dieses Ferienhaus noch relativ ruhig gelegen ist

ideale Lage, sämtliche Ziele in der Altstadt sind gut zu erlaufen, vom Dachgarten hat man einen traumhaften Rundblick, sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Betreuung vor Ort

Lage ist unschlagbar: mittendrin aber ruhig! Ausstattung- alles vorhanden, wie in der Beschriebung angegeben!

mehrere kleine "Supermärkte" innerhalb von 200m. grosser Markt mit frischem Gemüse und Fisch- Ein Mal wöchentlich, 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Restaurantangebot in der Altstadt ist riesig.
Natur Meer
sehr naher Sandstrand, aber direkt beim Hafen (Riesendampfer 500m entfernt!) 30 Gehminuten bis zu den grösseren Stränden.
Empfehlenswert für Paare
eng für mehr als 3 Personen.

A nice little house with a wonderful roofgarden, perfectly located in a charming and pittoresque quarter of the old town only a few minutes away from all the attractions. Claudia, the owner, is great she takes really care for her tenants. The property is probably not a choice for "five-star-all-inclusive-customers", but a perfect place for travellers who look for a relaxing home in a lively neighbourhood with real people and normal circumstances. We enjoyed our two weeks there very much!

The best things about the apartment are its location and its helpful owner who lives next door. It is located in the old part of Rhodes at an easy distance from the main historic sites but it is not a touristy area and maintains its local charm. The apartment is attractive but very compact and the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are designed for the young and fit. It is well supplied with basic equipment.

I thought it was really good, there where nice friendly neigbours, and with the owner next door to give help, and the Mini Market and bakery 100 meters away what more could you ask for. To stay within the town rather visiting it on a day trip gave us the opportunity to get to know and appreciate what the old town is really like.Once you leave the main tourist street and wander 50 meters down the back streets there are some wonderful little places and excellent restaraunts to visit.Its not until you spend time there you get to apprecaite the real histrory of the place- and it is amazing, Italian, English, Turkish and Greek culture and buildings.Of course the beach is still only 25 minutes stroll away.

The top floor single bedroom is up a fixed ladder, I could not accomodate my 8 year old daughter there, without exposing her to risk at least in case she needed the bathroom at night. We had to share the main bedroom. The ladder is so abrupt that we only used the terrace to dry our towels, you cannot carry coffee or snacks easily there. The light on the 1st landing broke down and could not be repaired, therefore I could not use the only mirror in the house, apart from the mirror in the bathroom where I had to permanently stand with my feet in water. Bathroom constantly smelly and wet, every shower drained across the floor. The house next door is ruined and deserted, making nights a bit spooky. Most often the smells coming from it were horrible.
There was everything in the house apart from spare toilet rolls, rubbish bags, scissors, or directions as to where to dispose of the rubbish. Although the owner informed us that the house has absolutely everything in it, there is no washing mashine, or the possibility of easily hand washing and rinsing clothes. There arent even clear directions to a lauderette or dry cleaners, considering that the house is located in a very touristic area. The lighting is quite dim and this does not help with make up or reading or sewing.
The price was OK, now I understand why, but a few more honest pictures of the layout would be a good idea in order to replace all the Rhodes attraction ones that make up the present portfolio.

its seems you never really looked at the Description or at the pictures and you have cause the broke of the light during a weekend and just before i left to a 3 day trip,as you wife didnt wanted to wait for the electrician.disappointing is as well you never mentioned all the things i have done for you out of my way,wishing you good luck with your next rental

My wife and I stayed here for a week in April and had a fantastic time. The location is superb - in the least touristy part of the beautiful Old Town - and the house is only a five minute walk from bars and restaurants. There's also a useful mini-market 100m away. It's very close to the supermarkets, cinemas and bars to the south of the city walls.
The house itself is very pleasant - more like someone's home than a holiday let. It's spread out over three floors and is quite simple (though comfortable and with everything you need). Having the outside space of the roof terrace (despite the somewhat precarious stairs!) was great.
The owner, Claudia, is extremely accommodating, meeting us at the airport and arranging a cheap hire car. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this place for a relaxing break in what must be one of the most fascinating towns in Europe.

I stayed here with my partner and it was our first visit to Rhodes. This traditional accommodation was an excellent choice as its location in the Old Town enabled us to live amongst the locals and also enjoy the charm of the medieval town, a 5minute walking distance where there are an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants.
The owner who lives in the property next door was the perfect host with a vast knowledge of the island and always willing to help with anything.
We would recommend this apartment enthusiastically and we will definitely return as we have made good friends here.

Dear Claudia. I had a splended time over in Rhodes.... most of which due to your incedible hospitality and helpfulness. The stay in your appartment was really like living at home and your advise to get around town as well as the island, were better than any travel guide I have known so far. Thank you again and be sure, I will be back .... and in between, I will recommend your place with all my heart. In summer or even in off-season (when the island ought to be a secret travel tip) the appartment is well equipped for all needs. And it lives with your spirit. With my kind regards, Torsten

es war ein echter Glückgriff, dass wir Euer Häuschen im Internet ausgewählt haben. Wir haben uns darin vom ersten Augenblick an heimisch gefühlt und einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Zurück in Halle vermissen wir am meisten die Dachterrasse, von der wir einen traumhaften Blick über die Dächer der Altstadt, den Hafen, das blaue Merr bis an die türkische Küste hatten. Dafür lohnte es sich jeden Morgen die Tabletts mit dem Frühstück über die steile Treppe zu jonglieren.
Ohne Eure Gastfreundschaft und Eure Fürsorge wäre der Urlaub natürlich nur halb so schön geworden. Danke für alles. Auch dafür, dass Ihr uns Euren wunderschönen Strand gezeigt habt.
Dank Eures Katers Silvstro und Eures Hundes Kimi hat Leonard zum ersten Mal nicht ständig gefragt, wann wir denn endlich wieder nach Hause fliegen. Ganz im Gegenteil, diesmal wäre auch er gern länger geblieben.
Unvergesslich bleibt natürlich die Geburstagsparty von Roxanne. Da haben wir jetzt was zu erzählen, dass man zu einem solchen Anlaß in Griechenland fast die ganze Klasse einlädt.
