Goa is viewed as a safe, peaceful and fun destination, where tourists get good value for money
The Goa season begins as the monsoon dries up around the end of October. This is a beautiful time to be in Goa as everything is green and luscious and there’s still the occasional roll of thunder in the air
Into January the nights grow a little cold and it’s good to have a sweater with you when driving at night
By March everything is dried up, all the green has turned brown and the dust begins to settle. The locals burn the straw on the dry rice paddy fields and the buffalo take dips in whatever pools of water they can find
By April the sea is like bath water and it’s too hot to move
The monsoon rains fall from around July to October a wonderful time to experience Goa if you like to relax and listen to the storms
A great time for romantics!
