The cottage is really lovely - located in the heart of the counrty, but only a few miles from the nearest town.
Although it looks a little neglected on the outside, the inside is extremely warm & comfortable. There is a cas t iron stove that could almost heat the house by itself, but there are large radiators in each room too. The kitchen is very well equipped, not only with applicances (theres even a coffee perculator!) but with almost every utensil you could ever need.
The owner of the property is located nearby so in the event of a problem, she is on hand to resolve it - and she does so very quickly.
We stayed there for the past two years over the Christmas holidays as we have family in the area and will definitely be back.

Everything we needed was provided and the property was exactly as advertised.
Set in a very quiet rural location transport is essential. Leamlara is ideal for getting to Cork, Cobh, Midleton, Youghal and Fermoy as well the great beaches between Midleton and Youghal.
Thanks for a great stay!!

The property looks a bit negelected form the outside but inside was impecably clean and just as advertised. Traditional feel inside with slate flooring and the wood burning stove , the smell of turf burning in the stove leaves a sweet smell. Place was warm and comfortable , rural but we loved it and will go back again
