Thailands major award winning tourist attraction - Phuket Fantasea - is to be found in Kamala Beach just a 30 minute car drive from Phuket International airport. Kamala is also home to the so called 'millionaires mile' where some of the islands most amazing properties can be found. Kamala offers the best Phuket has to offer! A wonderful unspoilt beach which is rarely full even in the high season. Great restaurants and bars. Fishing, diving, snorkelling, golf nearby... This beautiful property is located on the hill overlooking Phuket Fantasea. The noisiest time of day is late afternoons when the insects in the jungle start humming! Otherwise this is a tranquil haven where you can just relax from the moment you open the main gate. The first thing you will see is the beautiful established tropical garden and a small, but very nice private pool. There are 2 Salas (Thai style pavilions) and a large covered terrace adjoining the house as well as a wooden pool deck.There are 3 bedrooms- one double bedroom which has a king size bed the other a queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom has a large single bed with an optional children's support. All bedrooms have their own air-con units as well as fans and of course ample storage space for your clothes. The kitchen has just been completely re-fitted with all new white goods. There is an electric/gas cooker with oven, microwave oven, fridge with large freezer, toaster, kettle and everything you will need to be self sufficient. The living room also has a dining table which will seat 5. There is a colour TV with a permanent Cable TV connection as well as a DVD/CD player and stereo system. A 3 piece comfortable sofa also seats 5 people. One of the major features of the house is the 30m/2 covered terrace which is 2 steps down from the living room. This is the main dining area and great for sitting at any time of the day or night overlooking the swimming pool. There are plenty of bathroom towels and bedlinen for all beds in the villa. A maid comes 3 times weekly and changes the towels each time and the bedlinen once or twice weekly. There are also enough large towels for the sunbeds. The beach in Kamala is a white sand beach and has a very gentle slope making it safe in the high season for children to bathe. It is about a 5 minute drive from the villa to the beach where all facilities (sunbeds, sunbrellas etc) can be found. There are about 4 local dive operators for scuba diving and snorkelling trips and jet-skiing, parasailing, boat trips, deep sea fishing and water skiing is available from the beach. Distances
The village of Kamala with plenty of restaurants and bars is about 1km from the villa. If you are more into nightlife and discotheques, bars and clubs, then you might like to go to Patong in the evenings which is about a 15 minute car/taxi drive away. Shopping in Patong is also first class as well as shopping in Phuket Central which is about a 20 minute drive away just next to Phuket town. Further details
Kamala has around 4 or maybe even 5 stores now which are open 24/7. So you never have to fear that you will run out of bread, butter or beer!
