Though directions very good from airport we had to contact the owner to clarify accessing the property. Once in we found the garden apartment excellent. Very spacious and all conveniences for a great family holiday in place. Garden and patio good size and private, pool very large and well maintained. Kids had it to themselves on more than one occasion. Baby pool on site too, no floats or balls allowed though but a lifeguard always there which we hadnt anticipated, and which was a welcome addition. Parking for garden apartment underground, via two electronic gates, great for keeping car cool! Shops and port a 3 minute drive away but a pub and couple of restaurants (one on beach) and beach within walking distance. Very good location if one has a car for seeing the Costa del Sol area. Would go back!

Great location & easy to find - close to beach & marina at Cabopino. Ideal for families - our 3 children had a great time & we often had the pool to ourselves. High standard of interior furnishing & garden completely enclosed (high walls & no access to external grounds) meaning we could open patio doors & not worry about the children escaping! Good base for exploring other resorts such as Benalmadena, Fuengirola & Mijas (up in the mountains). Good selec tion of restaurants in Mijas Costa - The Far Isle (great for Sunday lunch), Antonios (on the beach - their Mussels Marinera is to die for!) & Browns (fabulous pies). We will definately be making another booking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owners were extremely helpful with my many questions both before and after booking. Having the patio and garden area was fantastic with two little children, never mind the thoughtful child friendly features like buckets, spades, boogie boards and Playstation! Next time I wont pack our own!
The pool area was brilliant very well maintained and whilst we were there we had it to ourselves on several occasions.
The only negative and this is a small nitpick is that I dont think it mentioned having to pay for air conditioning. This was a nominal cost but we arrived late at night very hot and tired and didnt have a 1 euro that it needed in order for us to cool down the appartment.

Comment: "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cabapino Garden, the apartment is beautifully fitted out and found the small enclosed garden a benefit. The gardens surrounding the buildings are immaculately maintained and it would seem that many of the other apartments are residential or unnoccupied as we often found we were the only people aound the pools. Our youngest particularly enjoyed the smaller pool as he is not yet a competent swimmer and as it\'s only 300 to 500mm deep he was very happy. The beach at Cabopino is well kept and we spent most days there building all sorts of sand structures and body-boarding in the small to medium waves "
