The Area

Senorio de Roda was home of the Spanish Monarchy for over 400 years. This historic influence has been carefully transfered to this lovely new development that blends in easily to this traditional Spanish village. Located in the municipality of San Javier in the region of Murcia, otherwise knows as the Costa Calida (the warm coast). The village of Roda is situated just a few minutes from the excellant beaches of the Mar Menor, Europes biggest natural lagoon. Senorio de Roda enjoys the tranquility of a rural setting with the benefits of being surrounded by the facilities of the local coastal towns. Due to the mild climate, reportably one of the healthiest in the world, the warm waters of the Mar Menor are attractive to bather and water sports enthusiasts all year round. In fact, the Mar Menor is revered for its health giving properties due to its high mineral content. Take a dip in the Mar Menor or stroll along some of the miles of golden beaches or nearby natural parks and wildlife reserves in the area. Visit Cartagena or Murcia for their wonderful historical sites.

The accomodation
This charming new 3 bedroom townhouse offers an open plan living/dining room and fully fitted kitchen. The property has a groundfloor shower room with WC and basin. In the lounge there are two black leather sofas, a coffee table and occasional tables, a dining table and chairs, a CD Radio and TV. Stairs lead to the first floor.

On the first floor there is a double master bedroom with air conditioning/heating, ample hanging space and storage with sliding patio doors and a Juliette balcony and with two further twin rooms the house comfortably sleeps six. There is a safe and all bedding and towels are provided, except beach towels. The house has a main bathroom on the first floor, comprising a bath with shower over & glass screen, w.c, inset vanity basin and a bidet. A hairdryer is provided and a remote control heater fitted.



Outside
The large front garden is gated and lovely in the afternoon and early evening where it gets the afternoon and setting sun.

There is a charming secure rear courtyard with fountain, accessed from the back door with a table and 4 chairs for eating and relaxing in the sun from early in the morning and during the day.

There is also a private roof terrace accessed by stairs from the first floor. Relax on the spacious private roof terrace, equipped with small patio table and 4 chairs and 2 comfy sunbeds, spend all day relaxing or sit under the stars late into the evening.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a west facing garden, a patio area, a balcony. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
