The villa and annex were lovely and suited the needs of 11 people perfectly. Close enough to amenities, but peaceful, tranquil location. The description and photos were very accurate. We were well looked after and if an issue arose the onsite caretaker was on hand to resolve it. Two issues on arrival: the villa hadnt been swept or dusted properly and the bedrooms hadnt been arranged as requested, but caretaker soom resolved the latter.
Two suggestions: the welcome basket was most appreciated, but it would have been useful to know in advance that there was a weclome basket on arrival and what was in it. As arriving late Saturday afternoon when most shops are shut on a Sunday we shopped enroute to checking in at the villa and duplicated many items. Also a gas barbeque would be useful as cleaner and would not have to dispose of ash in a dry region which could well be a fire risk

Thank you for your review and all your feedback. Your comments are very important so that we can maintain standard but also make improvements every year. A manager has now been appointed to check the property after the cleaners have performed their duties. It can sometimes be challenging for cleaners to prepare houses when guests depart late or arrive early leaving them little time during changeovers. In any instance when something has been missed the cleaners are available to return to the house on the same day. After guest comments this year we have decided to offer guests with an optional shopping service prior to their arrival. As you say guests are very appreciative however many items are wasted and it is much more preferable to have the items you require. The supermarkets in Aulla are open on Sunday morning and later in the afternoon. A gas BBQ is being considering for 2013. Thank you again and Im pleased you enjoyed your stay at Casa dell Angelo.
