the property more than met our expectations with the spectacular location, presentation of the well appointed apartment and warm welcome from the hosts. One week is no where near enough time to enjoy all the apartment and area have to offer.
The apartment layout is perfect for groups to enjoy their own living areas and the roof top terrace invites the morning sun!
We look forward to our next visit.

People say that you should never return to the same place twice. I can certainly put that myth to bed as our second visit to Real Italy in July 2012, not only confirmed our previous memories of this idyllic property in Montalto delle Marche but enhanced them even further! Mark, Andy, Mutley and the new addition to the family George, all made our second stay a truly unforgettable experience. From exceptionally furnished, carefully maintained, comfortable and homely property with picturesque views that are hard to be beaten, to welcoming and ever helpful owners who always go that extra mile to ensure your stay is enjoyable, any holidays within the Real Italy portfolio would be enjoyed by all. Plenty to see and do in and around the region. Within a short drive you can have miles upon miles of glorious beaches along the Adriatic coast, or visit nearby Ascoli to take in a fabulous City with artwork beyond expectations within the cathedrals and churches (and best of all its free). Further afield you visit the splendour of Assisi and the fantastic Frassisi Caves, or you can simply put your feet up and rest in the comfort of your own garden or sun terrace. In two visits totally 3 weeks, we still feel that there is lots of places to visit and things to see and do, so another stay may be on the cards in the near future. What more can I say apart from, if you are reading this review then you must be contemplating staying at this property, my recommendation would be not to hesitate. Just book you will not be disappointed.

We were very thankful and pleased by the friendly, personal attention of the owners Mark & Andy. The highlight of the apartment itself was the lovely terrace. We found our time at La Torre Sopra relaxing and very pleasant and would recommend it to others.

The best experience of Italy anyone could wish for.
Apartment lovely and Mark and Andy were excellent hosts who took care of us and helped us with anything we needed.
Such a wonderful location with stunning views and so much information provided by Mark and Andy of what to do in the region.
Wouldnt hesitate to recommend to anyone.

We spent three relaxing weeks at La Torre Sopra and were sorry to leave. Mark and Andy were great hosts, really knowledgeable about the area and couldnt have been more helpful. They were kindness itself and made our stay in the lovely apartment extra special.
The area is stunning and Montalto is truly a medieval, mountaintop little "city" with its own cathedral.
The hours spent on the terrace were magical - the views are out of this world with Le Marche and the distant Adriatic beckoning.
Above the terrace the swallows swooped and circled - a joy to watch.
We hope to come back to this beautiful apartment and area with its charming, local people.

Our second stay here - even better than the first. I love this place: living in the town/village visiting the great places near-by just sitting on the terrace for breakfast/lunch/dinner watching the swallows swoop through the rooftops. Wonderful hosts. Just heaven.

This stunning property is in the perfect location. You can visit the coast and the fantastic beaches in the morning and then spend the afternoon enjoying the scenery of the Sibillini mountains. We have stayed at this property at least 10 times and will continue to return as often as possible to enjoy the outstanding hospitality that is always shown to us by the owners. They go out of their way to ensure that every part of your holiday is perfect. I cannot recommend La Torre Sopra highly enough.

The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. The views are just breath-taking. Montalto itself is a nice little town and is in easy reach of lots of other gorgeous places too. Best of all though was the welcome: Mark and Andy are such wonderful hosts - friendly, helpful and infomative - and they also helped ensure we never ran out of wine! Mark is also a great cook - his lemon tiramisu is not to be missed! Highly recommended.

The apartment was beautifully furnished, light and airy, with a very well equipped kitchen and exceeded our expectations. The main delight of the apartment was the large terrace with its magnificant views over the hills to the Adriatic. We would strongly recommend both the location and the apartment to friends. However, what really made this holiday special was the kindness and thoughtfulness of the owners who did everything possible to ensure that we were well looked after including bowls of fresh vegetables and home made bread and jam on arrival! Thanks so much to both!

We rarely return to places that we have visited on holiday but our previous fantastic experience of staying with Mark and Andy meant that we could not wait to visit Montalto again. Their hospitality is second to none, the views are exceptional and the apartment is outstanding and incredibly well equipped. We will definitely recommend to friends (although we would really like to keep this part of Italy a secret all to ourselves!!).

Mark and Andy are the most wonderful hosts which only adds to the joy of staying in their beautiful apartment. The apartment is full of charm and is extremely comfortable and the views from the roof terrace are outstanding. There are some wonderful towns and villages close to Montalto to explore and the coast is a short drive away. The great hospitality, fantastic accommodation, great views and wonderful food cannot be faulted and we are already planning our next visit to stay at La Torre Sopra. Thank you for making us so welcome. It already feels like a home from home and we cant wait for our next trip.

There is really nothing at all we could complain about. The rooms are comfortably and very well furnished, the view on the terrace is a spectacle itself, you have a free internet access on the hall (to know the weather forecast or write an email), you need not carry heavy water bottles (nor wine or beer), cause you can buy them in the property, and last but not least the two owners, Mark and Andy, really will do everything if you habe a request or complaint. A really phantastic appartment in the center of Marche, we recommend it!

It's been a very fast week and we love the area. Wonderful hosts and nothing is too much bother. Spent a terrific evening and had an awesome meal as a local restaurant where Maria never stopped bringing "Appies". Would love to come back to Montalto.

Our second trip to Le Marche and Real Italy! Our first and lasting impression of Montalto is superb. First class accommodation, good friends and thanks for all your help and taking time to socialise - hopefully we will be neighbours in Castignano and look forward to seeing you both in the near future.
