We were met by the owner which we pleasant after a long day of traveling. The studio apartment was one very leage room plus a small kitchen and an adequate and modern bathroom. The view from our balcony was unbelieveable! We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony watching the people coming and going into the opera house, watching the tourists ride by in horse and buggy and watching the Sicilians drive. What a wonderful location.
We were three steps from resturants. We found an outdoor piano bar a few blocks away which played our kind of music. Very romantic.
We spent one day in Monreale and a day in Agregento. We found the market and enjoyed seeing all the fresh food. This place was perfect!

We were delighted with the central location of the Opera Studio, right on the Piazza Verdi with a beautiful view of the Teatro Massimo. As the studio was on the border of Palermos old and new towns we were able to walk everywhere. Although only onestudio room, there was plenty of space with separate kitchen, sitting area, proper dining table and chairs and a nice big bed. The shower room was also a decent size, even with a bidet (but no bath). If we had one criticism it would be that some of the furnishings and fittings were quite old but everything was very clean and in full working order, and in fact this didnt detract from the apartments charm. The owner was also very friendly and helpful, for example as there was a day between our departure and the next guests arriving, we were able to leave our luggage in the flat and really make the most of our last day in Palermo.
