we found the property to be comfortable and spacious with more than adequate facilities , they were set in quiet and extremely beautiful surroundings, whilst still being part of the main property , The hosts Brenda and Alan, were extremely hospitable , and we were treated more like friends than paying guests , they are two of the nicest people you could wish to meet and i give them both a rating of 100% , two top bananas . However , we were slightly disappointed that Alan neglected to include us in the offer of the nut flavoured milk, that he offered the other guests and to which he seemed to have copious amounts .(ha ha ! ask alan to explain ). we had a fantastic holiday . we will go back and recommend this Bogega, and its hosts to anyone looking to book .

Great place to stay, very clean and quiet, well equipped Finca, away from the maddening crowd so you will need a car.Would recommend.

If you want a get-away-from-it-all holiday and dont mind the possibility of sharing the pool with a couple of other people then this is an ideal place to stay. Brenda and Alan were most welcoming (even though we did arrive rather late) and they were very helpful throughout the holiday. Not the height of luxury but certainly good value - I would love to stay there again and highly recommend it.

We had a fabulous holiday at the Bodega. We were lucky to be there during Pinosos festival. Brenda and Alan made sure we didnt miss anything and even invited us to join in with their friends at the giant paella. The Bodega is set in beautiful countryside, surrounded by olive and almond groves and vineyards. Its the perfect place to relax and unwind and is well placed to explore the area. The Bodega had plenty of room for all four of us and was very well maintained. The pool was lovely and our 6 year old daughter, Emma learned to swim thanks to Mark, a Belgium swimming teacher who was staying at the adjoining house with his wife Martine. The barbecue area was the perfect setting for many an evening meal. You can get everything you need in Pinoso which is just 5 minutes away. There is a choice of supermarkets and plenty of restaurants which are all excellent value for money. There is a great market at Alguena which is just 15 minutes by car. There is a lot to do and see in the surrounding area but with beautiful weather and the pool, we stayed local and chilled out. Brenda and Alan are super hosts, not intrusive but very generous with their time. They have a wealth of information about the area and are always willing to share it and recommend places to go. All in all, we had one of our best holidays and cant wait to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were made to feel part of the family by Brenda and Alan. Enjoyed exploring the local area, food and wine!!! Spent more time at the Bodega than we expected as the welcome and the weather was so warm! Everything we needed for an excellent restful holiday was there!! Thanks to our hosts and hope to see you again in the future

The Bodega is a fantastic place to spend your well earned holiday. It is a home from home with all you need for a relaxing or energetic break. The outside space is beautiful with a large welcoming pool and plenty of areas to sunbathe or chill in the shade with a glass of the local vino and a bbq to cook some of the local produce on. Theres a large roof terrace with stunning views of the surrounding area and the Olive grove and its only 5 mins from Pinoso where you can get all you need. Eating out there is amazing value for money,it really has to be tried to be appreciated. Brenda and Alan have an abundance of information about the local area and nothing is too much trouble. I cant wait to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bodega, Brenda and Alan made us feel very welcome and were a mine of useful information. The Bodega has been decorated very tastefully and has large exposed wooden beams, massively thick walls and beautiful wooden shutters and doors. From the Kitchen you look out over the Olive groove where you can watch the birds hopping about on the fire wood catching their breakfast. Alan and Brenda have a large BBQ area with shaded seating which guests are welcome to use and if the heat of the Mediterranean sun should get a bit too hot for you then take a dip in the swimming pool and cool off !! The Bodega is located about five minutes outside the town of Pinoso. The surrounding fields are full of grape vines and Olive trees with breath taking views of the mountains in the background. Pinoso town has everything you need including super markets, cafe bars and numerous restaurants. Ask Alan about the "special two for the price of one night" at a local restaurant !! I almost forgot to mention that in the super market you can buy a bottle of red wine (vino tinto) for 62 cents !! I cant wait to go back again !!

The property itself was perfect for our needs and the owners, Alan and Brenda, were pleasant, helpful but non-intrusive.The property was beautifully clean as was the pool. There was plenty of info in the finca and any questions we had were readily answered by our hosts. The only down side for us was that it was a bit further from the coast than we had thought.

We all had a fantastic time at the property. Brenda and Alan were great hosts and the accomodation and facilities were perfect for our stay. There were a massive help to us when our little girl was taken ill, which was thoroughly appreciated. I would recommend a stay at the Bodega anytime! Thanks again

The holiday was very relaxing, and Alan and Brenda (and their dog Chica) were very friendly and helpful. The villa was basic, but covered all our needs, and the pool was plenty big enough for us all to swim and relax in. There were many tables/chairs positioned around the property for us to use, as were sun loungers. Alan and Brenda happily shared their extensive local knowledge, recommending places of interest to visit, local restaurants and supermarkets etc. Overall a lovely holiday enjoyed by all! :-)

We only spent 10 days at Casa Alba and (apart from the one rainy day in Elche) had a brilliant time. Alan and Brenda make you feel at home from the first day and there is so much to do in the area. Great banter round the pool or watching Spain in Constatution in Pinoso (amazing Tapas) will definately dro p by if we go back to the area.

If looking for rural Spain this property is ideally situated. Car essential, coast about an hours drive. Self contained appartment connected to owners villa, with use of private pool, shared with owners. Do not let this put you off, Allen and Brenda made us feel very welcome and insisted we treat the property as our own. They are permanent residents and their local knowledge was invaluable, going out of their way to assist us, whilst not intruding on our privacy. Some Spanish would improve communication with locals but not essential. Highly recommended.

The clean and comfortable Bodega is set in wonderful peaceful surroundings ideal for walking and relaxing. With good food and friendly people in the Local town of Pinoso it all added up to a perfect holiday.

We arrived late in the evening to a warm welcome in this beautiful part of Spain. The Bodega is in a quiet country area, just right for a relaxing holiday. You can get all necessary shopping in Pinoso including some very nice local wine. The local walks were well signposted and maps are available. Walking for hours through pine forests and almond and olive groves, what more could you ask for?
