Spacious and very good layout. Ideally situated a short distance from the Old Town and beach. Apartment has everything required from cooking utensils to childrens toys.

apatment more like a home than a holiday rental, everything you need ed. Thought it might be closer to the beach but the walking did us good although wore out a pair of shoes in the process. Definitely stay there again if in Portugal

Had such a great holiday at No 5 Windmill hill - Beautiful- Were heading back this year again!
We loved the peace & quiet away from the hussle & bustle of the town - but a short walk downhill to the old town (note to the ladies- put your heels in your handbag & flats on for the walk!)
& 10 minute drive to "the strip"
Recommend a wee trip to the beach at Sao Rafael!

what can i say that hasnt already been said. just got back today and loved the whole experience, the apartment is superb - met and exceeded our expectations. 2 adults and 2 kids - we neednt have brought any toys as there are loads there (well hidden if youve no little ones) and the inclusion of pram, cot, beach gear etc. is inspired. The walk back from the old town in 30 degree plus heat is not for the faint hearted so its a taxi job if your unfit but we managed every time with the kids and had no problems. certainly meant we burned off a few portions of piri piri chicken and cataplanas:) pool was great too, not too busy nice snack bar with decent pizzas and a brilliant view over the old town and the ocean. five stars from me.

4 of stayed at this property for 4 days in June 2011..... This place really exceeded our needs and expectations... was easy to drive to, easy to walk down to the main square and beach.... but the walk up the hills was brutal! Need to exercise more! lol
Excellent Value for money and would totally recommend it to Whoever wants to visit Albufeira.

we are just back today 18/11/2010 and look forward to book again for next year ,sun was out every day two mornings of rain but dry by 10.30 we were on the beach every day witch is no more than 10 minutes away from the apartment and that is taking your time same time to get into the old town walking the other direction takes you to the marina well worth a visit approx 15 minute slow walk. as for the apartment it had everything you would need with a great amount of dvds books and games all rooms are large and clean.the owners have gone that bit further to make your stay more comfortable i would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

From the start to the end of our 10 day holiday everything was superb.The apartment was excellent (great value for money)everything we needed and wanted (welcome pack was brilliant).The whole complex was beautifully maintained.Views were spectacular and also our balcony was very private.In my view you always get some one who wants to find fault for the sake of it well we cant.I read one of the negative reviews (i think that was the only one and that pereson must be on a different planet). It was a lovely place to stay, and the location was great-close to the beach and the beautiful "old town". The pool was nice, and there is great shopping close by. It was also a spacious apartmetn with a great and easy to use washer. Recommendations: Provide pool towels for usage, as we came from Canada and did not have room for these. Either that or mention on the website that you have to provide your own. We were not aware of this, and being that it was so hot our children wanted to take a dip in the pool upon arrival and could not. You need to provide cleaning supplies as the floors are tile and being that there is a pool and beach nearby, they get very dirty. There was no A/C (we did know this) and this made it very hot to sleep and cook. The deck furniture was very dirty and needed to be cleaned.

From booking to arriving home everything was as expected or better. Apartment was very clean, spacious and quiet and had everything we could possibly need, a lovely home from home. The complex and pool area is well maintained.

We had a very enjoyable week at this appartment. It absolutely met our needs for a family of 4 including 2 teenage boys 12 and 15.
Location is at the top of a hill but is an easy 10 minute walk down , 15 minute walk back up or a 5Euro cab from old town centre. 7-8Euro back from the "Strip"
We appreciated the provision of beach mats, umbrella, boogy board etc.
We stayed during the May Half term, it was pleasantly quiet but the on site cafe/bar was only open on the Sunday.
Plenty of free onsite parking.
The description of the property states Internet, this was only available at the reception during opening hours and was 4Euros an hour. They only had one PC. This should be made clear.
N-05 quoted a BBQ , this was not there. It would be good to provide one.
Overall very enjoyable and will recommend

A great apartment to stay in within the old town of albuferia. It had everything that you could need for your stay and in a great location too.

Lovely apartment, weather not so good this time but we had a car and went to our favourite places amazingly not getting wet. This complex is very quiet most of the time but near a school so a little noisey during school time, we were out most days so didnt really notice unless we were on the balcony. The apartment has everything and more making it very good value for money on a months booking which we had. maid service twice a week was great as you dont always get this on long term bookings. The dishwasher broke down and was put right the next day. The back up service from Cerro Nova reception was friendly and very good all English speaking which helps tremendously. We have been coming to the Algarve for many years and this was one of the best apartments we have stayed in. We would definately book this apartment again on our next trip to Portugal. PS: added a coffee maker and sandwich toaster to the kitchen making it 100% home from home for us. Loved the place hopefully better weather next time.

We were delighted with the apartment.The owners have everything that you need.The kids were thrilled with all the toys and books.Camille from the agency provided us with a welcome pack and was very helpful and kind.The pool is lovely and the little restaurant on site is great for a coffee.Also quite close to the old town ,just a bit of a struggle coming home,uphill.But the exercise is good for you!!

Fantastic accomodation at an unbelievable price...thank you so much!! Albufeira as lovely as ever...and I was really pleased with how close we were to the old town. The apartment was really lovely and so well equipped. The Windmill Hill pool area was lovely and quiet and relaxing - just what the doctor ordered. From the first communication with the owners, we knew we were in good hands as nothing was too much trouble. The website cannot do justice to just how beautiful Windmill Hill is and how comfortable and clean the apartment was. The grounds and apartment are well maintained by the friendly staff and the local residents make you feel very welcome. The complex is very child friendly and our six and four year oldshad the time of their lives and were never bored, they also improved their swimming way beyond our expectations in the fantastic pool. We would have no hesitation in recommending this as a suitable family holiday.
