We said we would return and this year have spent six beautiful long weeks in this lovely complex.
Whilst the UK was suffering heavy snowfalls we were enjoying wonderful warm winter sunshine.
Victor Santos organised a delivery of wood to our garage and we spent many cosy evenings in front of a blazing log fire.
Hope to return later this year.

My husband and I have just spent the month of February in this very comfortable and well equipped apartment, which boasts two patios leading on to a small garden area where it was possible to breakfast alfresco in the sunshine.
The gardens surrounding the complex are peaceful and beautifully maintained to a very high standard with a pathway leading from the front door to a panoramic view of, and access to, the excellent beach below.
The February sun was very welcome and although temperatures dro pped in the evenings we were very cosy using the facility of the log-burning fire.
Cant wait to return!

We stayed in Apartment 92 for two weeks in August 2011.The owners description of a Luxurious apartment isn’t very accurate it’s quite tired and dated inside, over the years the original crockery has been broken & never replaced only one tray in the oven, etc.
You get two small patios outside which overlook a road with a busy island, to the left a view of the towns water waste treatment plant and a collection of other high rising flats, etc. The description also mentions a sea view but this again isn’t a very accurate portrayal as you can only see this if you stand and peer over next door’s patio then you do get a glimpse of the sea!
We had several problems with water not draining from the bath due to the plug being broken but this was quickly remedied by Grace, the lady who looks after the complex. Overall, it’s OK but it didn’t meet our expectations and the property description needs to be altered to reflect this.
Owner reply:
As the customer says problems were quickly resolved. The view from the apartment is of the swimming pool of the Hotel Nautilo a distance across the road, and the view to the right is of the town of Armacao de Pera. Our description says quote, 'Being right on the seafront, the Clube Nautilus complex has fantastic sea views'unquote, which in fact is accessed from the front door, through the immaculate gardens to a magnificant panoramic view, overlooking the ocean. The 2 patios refered to open onto a lawn available for your use.Since this review was submitted the apartment has undergone extensive cleaning.

Stayed for 3 weeksa party of two adults and two 4year old children. No change of towels / bedding or cleaning throughout. We had to use the washing machine to do our own.Shower hose in second bathroom requires replacement split at top, sprayed everywhere,so did not use this shower.Ironing board leg broken unable to stand to use.Walls in all rooms marked with dirty fingerprints and dead insects, requires cleaning.Pillows stained and dirty, require immediate replacements and the use of pillow protecters.Only three chairs on balcony and two sunbeds. The owner may not visit regular and possible is unaware of its condition.Would be good if a small safe was in apartment. The reception always closed. note on door. This could be a good apartment if looked after, location close to lovely beach and well maintained gardens. Nothing like pictures must have been taken when new.
Owner reply:
Above comments noted and currently being addressed. It is worth mentioning here that the original reception area is no longer in use and the site manager is located in an office to the right of the complex entrance, as mentioned in the arrival instructions. He and his wife are normally around on -site to deal with any issues that may arise during your visit, and from previous customer feedback have dealt with problems swiftly.

the apartment was fabulous, everything in it that would want for a self catering holiday, the furniture and furnishings were excellent, the type you would buy for your own home,in fact you could live there very nicely all year round. altogher extremely good value for money, and the welcoming card and bottle of wine were a lovely gesture. thank you.

Everything was as expected - having stayed at these apartments several times previously. However, we did not have a pool key and relied on others being in the pool to let us in. This was reported to the site manager, but one did not materialise.
Several lightbulbs were not working, but these were replaced when requested
Lovely, clean and spacious. Thank you - we hope to book again

The security was reduced as the main gates were removed allowing anybody to enter the complex. Its very expensive to holiday in the Algarve now although the weak £ against the € didnt help.
Owner reply:
It is my understanding that the gates were removed due to a land dispute with the local council and the issue is under review.

We have just had a fantastic 2 weeks at the apartment. We had everything we needed for a family holiday and the complex, although quiet and not fully operational, was pefect for our needs. We didnt travel too far as the 2 minute walk to the beach was all we needed! The beach was perfect for our childrens ages and the slightly rough waves made for some good boogie boarding!
Plenty of restaurants nearby and some good shopping a car ride away.
Aqualand was a huge hit. Their special offer of a reduced fee for a second visit was too good to pass up.
I think well definitely be back!

Just returned from a lovely week at the Clube Nautilus. Well designed complex, very quiet even for August, yes the road is noisy but as we were out sunbathing during the day and eating out in one of the many lovely restaurants at night, we weren't bothered by the noise at all. By bedtime the traffic was very quiet. The apartment was more spacious than I expected, the TV had loads of channels including Sky News and BBC News 24. There's a very good hairdryer in the bedroom so don't bother taking one. I was very concerned when booking the apartment that it didn't have air conditioning, however I needn't have worried. The apartment never gets full sun so it was plenty cool enough - my daughter even put on an extra blanket at night! It was great to have the washing machine and there is also a drying rail outside which held plenty of clothes/towels - beware though, don't leave your washing out late into the evening - ours got soaked by the sprinklers!! We couldn't use the dishwasher unfortunately as it was full of bubbles on our arrival! Possibly a previous guest had used washing up liquid in it. We did set the dishwasher to rinse all the time to try and clear it but it still wasn't removing the dirt from the dishes (we did take Finish Dishwasher Tablets with us but they didn't work). We didn't use the pool at the apartments as we have family living in Armacao so used their pool, the beach is lovely though but there are a number of steps down to it. All in all we had a lovely holiday and would definitely stay in the apartment again and recommend it to anyone.

We had 10 fantastic days in the appartment with our 2 young kids. A garden for them to run around (fenced) and a terrace for us to sit out. The gardens around the appartments are fabulous und just a short walk down the stairs to the beach, which is again 'fantastic'.
We were very well looked after and they helped with every problem very efficiently. Thanks again!
Only drawback: the noise from the street!
I can only recommend this property!

First class appartment with everything you'd expect of a private villa - full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, secure parking, pool, gardens, etc... Private path to wonderful beach was ideal.
Victor, Grace and Pedro looked after us perfecrly - especially when going out of their way to rescue us when I stupidly locked us out!
Secure complex is great when you have kids. The pool area is fully enclosed and all exits from the complex are guarded by security gates.
Nearby beach is clean, safe and picturesque. The sea is, however, very rough and whilst fun for the adults you need to keep reins on the little ones.
Hire a car and visit some nearby beaches and towns - especially the Mountains, Silves and Shoe World at Lagoa (a hit with the Wife!)
Armacao itself is a bit over-developed with more high rise apartment blocks than I've seen anywhere else. However, Clube Nautilus is not of the same ilke, and is situated at the end of the developed area. The old part of town is nice at night and the beach, top quality accomodation and safe complex easily make up for the initial disappointment of Armacao. Highly recommended for young families - an excellent holiday, especially in late Sept / early Oct when we had temps in the 30's on occasions, but never felt the kids were in danger of being frazzled!

Having recently returned from Clube Nautilus I would just like to express the delight of my two friends and myself who were thoroughly bowled over with your apartment which was furnished in excellent taste, was spacious, fully equipped, especially the kitchen and the two bathrooms, one having a jacuzzi.
The location was very good, being able to access the local beach(50 yards away)by a private path.
It was within reach of many and varied dining places; (English,Chinese,Indian,Italian, local cuisine as well as many cafes)
There was a bus which went to Albufeira and a local taxi firm at low cost to many other areas.
This apartment is thoroughly recommended.

Would like to say the apartment was abolutely lovely as was the pool and the beach was such a short distance to walk. We had a lovely lazy 10 days. Thanks for the travel cot, a bonus you might like to consider would be a high chair too!

Thankyou for the great deal you gave us for our stay in your apartment.Your description was spot on!
Armacao is a lovely town and we thought your apartment was fantastic,as you said only two minutes from the beach.
The beach bar restaurant shown on your web site lived up to expectations and the owner Fransisco sends his regards.
The transfer from Faro to the apartment was excellent and inexpensive. We have rarely enjoyed a holiday so much and will be back to book our Autumn break!
Kind Regards

Having just spent a week at this luxurious apartment my wife and I are already planning our next visit there in the new year.
As the advertising says it is less than two minutes from a glorious long sandy beach and in easy walking distance to many wonderful bars and restaurants.
Eating in also proved to be a pleasure due to the apartments modern kitchen and dining facilities.
It was a truly value for money holiday and only two and a half hours from the UK.
Can't wait to return!

I look forward to spending some more long lazy days by the pool and beach.
