The property was really nice and clean and big. Everything went smooth, but after the payment the owner stopped to communicate with me, what was strange. But the apartment was really great.

We stayed 8 days in the apartment in Armacao de Pera. It is spacious and well appointed. It was spotless. It has a washing, so you are expected to wash own bedding, towels etc....we didnt know this and kept waiting on the cleaners to come, but it wasnt a problem. The pool is great, our boys had great sport in it. The apartments are in well kept grounds, with a short walk through a private gate to the beach, which is beautiful. Its a very Portuguese resort, no English type pubs, which was refreshing. Its a very family orientated place, with no loud bars etc,but still lots to do. Try the Aqualand park, and take a boat ride along the caves and coves.....spectacular.Thoroughly enjoyed this holiday and will return!

The property was exelant but towels were never changed Good for families near lovely large beach little night life but near many good resturants
Owner reply:
Mid stay towel changes are available for a small fee but have to be booked in advance, or can be arranged with the local cleaning staff on site.

Apartment well appointed as stated on website. You could describe it as a home from home. Very spacious, the pool was a very unique design and very peaceful. Very close to the beach which was nice. I thought the apartment would have been a little further out from the town as during the day from 8am until 10pm there was alot of traffic noise due to the round-a-bout below us. Grace (wife of caretaker/manager) was a very nice lady and very helpful. However we were very disappointed upon arrival with the the welcome pack. We had paid £20 and had expected what was stated on the booking form. There was only a litre of water and a few packets of biscuits. When we pointed this out to Grace she gave us a bottle of wine as apology. There is a mandatory charge for laundry and towel change. However we had to ask Grace about this a week into our stay. Grace was not aware of this and had to contact the owner. It was a very embarassing situation for both Grace and us. We did resolve this issue and got clean laundry. It is possible to have a sea view from the balcony. However the apartment was overlooking scrub and waste ground which was not very pretty to look at. However the grounds of the complex itself were very pretty and well maintained.

Couldnt speak highly enough of our experience here. We were due to fly during the volcanic ash fiasco and thus our flights changed several times - Greg was more than accommodating, letting us completely change our dates at no additional cost. Excellent customer service. Condo was great exactly as advertised and fully equipped. Would definitely recommend this to a friend.

This was a spacious light apartment with a great location a very short walk from a lovely beach. We also liked the swimming pool in the apartment complex. However, the location was noisier than the apartment description led us to expect. There was very loud music every night from one of the neighboring hotels, as well as a lot of traffic noise.
There were also a few small things that let the apartment down - old, worn towels with holes in, air conditioning units that we couldnt get to work, lack of information in the apartment (for example locations of nearby supermarkets and other amenities), the reception desk was not manned at all in the week we stayed, and we had trouble getting in to the car park and apartment on arrival. A shame, because, noise aside, this could be a great apartment, but its actually just OK.
Owner reply:
I am truly sorry that you were disappointed with your stay, I take great pride in the positive revioews we always get from other customers, and try to address all issues raised by either local staff or customers themselves.
All the towels and sheets have been replaced since this review, and do so on a regular basis when advised by the local staff. I personally have never experienced loud music from neighbouring hotels and haven't had other complaints about this so believe and hope this to be an isolated incident. Also the air conditioning is checked on a regular basis and I haven't been made aware of any issues with it by clients either side of your stay but any issues like this are generally resolved again by local staff as quickly as possible. The site manager has his office down by the entrance to the main car park and is on-site most days, as are the cleaning staff, but as this is not a hotel but a self catering apartment then there is no regular reception staff.
I am very sorry you were disappointed and will bring all these points up with the local management to get things put right.
Very best regards
Greg & Kit

A large apartment complex very near to the beach and all amenities. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning for breakfast and during the evening. Definitely need a hire car to travel to beautiful beaches we only found on our last day!
Unfortunately no welcome pack which was disappointing as we had to trek off and find a shop as soon as we arrived. We saw no staff members at all while we were there, and the reception was shut all week. Overall I would recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

Myself, my husband and our 5 month old baby have just returned from a week in this villa and i HAD to write to say what a great time we had. The apartment was everything we expected and more, it was clean, bright and much bigger than it looks on the photos. The kitchen was fully equipped with EVERYTHING we needed (which helped when trying to feed a baby!) and it meant we were able to stay in some nights for dinner (something we dont normally do!)
The location is fabulous and right at the beach/near to restaurants and shops. The pool was nice and clean and very quiet due to the time of the year - perfect for us.
Overall this was a fabulous holiday and i would be sure to return to this accommodation again.

Comfortably furnished throughout, with an adequate supply of crockery, glassware and cutlery for self-catering. Hair dryer supplied. Good range of TV channels available, once access to them was sussed out - thanks to the very helpful on-site manager, Victor.
Luckily we have stayed at the Nautilus before, so when finding that our provided code number didnt give us vehicular access to the more obvious car park entrance, we tried the 2nd access just a little way up the hill, with good result.
Clube Nautilus is ideally situated within walking distance of the town, shops, supermarkets and restaurants, where staff have a good command of English.
Using the same code number, or the swipe card from the apt., direct access down steps to the beach is gained via the secure garden gate from the garden area. An ideal spot for families with children. We hope to return again soon.

Great location and spacious apartment. My only criticism is the lack of power points in the kitchen- 2. Had a fabulous month and hope to go again next year.

A well appointed, well maintained and air conditioned apartment with easy acces to the beach and town. The holiday was at the end of October when the weather was mostly as good as the best days you can expect with a UK summer. Local water parks and Zoomarine proved great alternatives (and good value) to the beach and town and some of the historic villages within easy driving distance provided alternative entertainment. The swimming pool on site is well maintained and central to the complex, although not being heated made the water too cold to spend any substantial time swimming. Overall a really great holiday and with the disounts available away from peak season, we certainly intend to return.

Apartment was lovely and spacious, plenty of room for our party of 3 adults and 2 children. Fully equipped kitchen and english cable tv (which came in handy with 2 children). Would have to say that when we arrived, at 10pm, there was no welcome pack as stated and therefore no water, milk, anything! Thanks to the kindly women we met as we arrived managed to give my children a drink and some toast! Reception was not open the entire time of our stay and the only staff we ever managed to find were gardeners. I would suggest you pay the extra laundry charge as we never had clean towels in the 11 days we were there! The sea view is more of a lean over the balcony to the side sea view but this not a criticism just a note to others. The pool was lovely (bit cold at times) and my sons loved it. The beach was fantastic as were the restaurants on the beach front. The beach however is accessed via a number of steps which is not pram freindly or lit very well. The resort on a whole is a lovely quiet location (maybe quiet as september) and not lots of bars or restaurants but those available nice. I would suggest car hire as seems more to see even if short drive. The supermarkets (which shut at 9pm) about 15mins walk. Albuferia was about a 15min taxi/car drive away but unless you like blackpool maybe best avoided! Took my oldest son (9yrs) to the slide and splash and he absolutley loved it. Be prepared for prices in portugal at the moment!

Fantastic apartment, minutes from the pool and a beautiful beach. Fully equipped with everything you need.
I would definitely rent this apartment again.
Two very minor things - the road outside could be a bit noisy at peak times and the hotel across the road had live music on most nights that went on till 11.30pm. But to be honest I probably only noticed because I was on my own. If I had been travelling as part of a group I wouldnt have noticed it. Dont be put off by these comments theyre not a criticism just an observation.

Everything was lovely. However, as we were informed by your inofrmation that the carpark was a secured one with a secrity code for entry - we hired a vehicle from the airport. Only to find that this was not the case. We drove from the airport to the unsecured carpark and within hours the hirecar had been damaged by what appeared to be a motorbike. This was of cost to us of approx £50. If we thought the vehicle would have been at risk we would have chosen no to hire.

The apartment was very large and roomy for our family of 4. Our girls had plenty of space to run around. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms were lovely and the living room was also attractive and functional. The pool area was very good, the pool was actually alot bigger than it looks in the picture, although the water was a little cool being late September. The beach is very close and is good for long walks, quite a busy beach too! We recommend a hire car as we had a fantastic time exploring all the nearby towns, and you also need one if you are doing a big shop at the supermarket!

Lovely, spacious and well equiped apartment in a very secure and pleasant surroundings. Really enjoyed our week and could have spent another week easily!
Great to be so close to the beach and to have the option of the complex pool as well. The village is a short pleasant walk - either through the town or along the beach - with a pedestrianised area with plenty of bars and restaurants.
Worth knowing that there is no sign outside Club Nautilus - (took us a while to find it on arrival).

Apt very good with all home comforts and facilities.
Beach also very close beach and very convenient. Pool good but a little limited, i.e. no snack bar. Plus the apts did not have a reception which wasn't a 'must have' but perhaps a 'nice to have'.
Old town area very good for eating although the high rise blocks in Amecao de Pera are not aesthetically pleasing.

A very easy drive from Faro to a superbly furnished apartment with good air-conditioning/;heating provision. We found a wide variety of restaurants within easy walking distance and a unique coastline and beautiful beach at the garden gate.Breakfast on the balcony in the sun is a must!
An excellent holiday venue-we shall return!

The apartment is modern, spacious and airy. The jacuzzi in the 2nd en suite bathroom is really relaxing and welcoming at the end of a lazy day on the beach (very close by) or basking in the sunshine by the fabulous pool shared by the apartments.
The apartment is also really well equipped with kitchen equipment and things for the pool and beach - very generous of the providers.
Sunshine either at the front or back depending on the time of day.
Very close to the centre of the town with restaurants and pubs and wine bars.
Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again. Thank you very much.

Very good in all aspects except that we arrived after dark (about 9.30 p.m.) and found it difficult to (a) open the main gates inspite of knowing the code number, (b) could not find the correct car park as we were not advised which entrance to use. In the circumstances we left the car outside the main complex on the first night in the hope that it would not be vandalised and it was only on the following morning we were able to gain the information to park correctly when the manager was at the site. We also had difficulty in obtaining the key at the front door as the directions for opening the safe were not detailed enough.
We were impressed with Mr Victor Santos who was always extremely friendly and helpful.
A very enjoyable holiday at a lovely location.

The beds were too hard, even after 15 nights no one of the adults -weight 55,75,115 kg- had a good sleep: waking up several times and feeling like beeing beaten up in the morning. Not very relaxing.
Owner reply:
This is the first comment we have had about the beds, all other reviews about the apartment have been very favourable so far. It is unfortunate that we cannot tailor the apartment to everybodies individual preferences but if this opinion is repeated then please be assured that we will act on it as soon as possible - as it is very important to us that all guests have the most enjoyable stay possible.
With our very warmest wishes

The property was excellent and beyond our expectations. A great location and near an excellent beach and within walking distance to all local amenities. The management where not always easy to locate and I would recommend an early flight home because there is nowhere to leave your cases. Luckily for us the owner of appt 92 let us store our luggage in his villa until the flight home.

This was our first visit to Portugal staying at Club Nautilus. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and there was nothing that you could want for, everything was provided. It was in a perfect position for the beach, just as descibed, & we had the pool to ourselves most days.
Although we found the resort a bit too quiet for us, I,m sure it would appeal to those looking for a chilled out resort.
In my opinon the beach was great, resort was disappointing, and the apartment was out of this world! I think it would be hard to better this apartment.

The apartment was fabulous - spacious, clean and bright. The location was excellent and both met our expectations. The description was perfect. The only downsides:
I thought it was overpriced for the end of September. There was never anybody at reception. We didn't see any staff from the complex at all during our stay.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to a friend and hopefully we will return ourselves.
