Property and local area description

Private villa in own grounds with swimming pool, set in a residential area.

A beautiful luxury villa with all the modern facilities. After a two years search, we finally purchased a plot of land which was near restaurants, beaches and lovely countryside. Built to our instructions for the purpose of a long term holiday home, and letting to discerning families who want every modern comfort by todays standards, including the option of a heated swimming pool, built in BBQ and stone outdoor dining table.Also WiFi and flat screen TV. We purposely designed the villa to obtain maximum views of the Monchique mountains and surrounding countryside.
We are nestled in a private mixed development of about fifteen luxury villas off the village high street.
There are five towns all within a few minutes drive.
Golf, tennis, horse riding, keep fit, organized walks and two water parks are all nearby.

The rooftop terrace has views of Lagos and Portimao. There is a shaded grassed area at the back.
The villa is fitted to the highest standards throughout with under floor heating in all three bathrooms, and air conditioning throughout.
The living room has a patio door leading to a large covered porch ideal for dining and other outdoor activities, overlooking the pool area and countryside, this also leads to the kitchen and main bedroom.
The fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, filtered water system and dining area for 6 people with views of the pool and mountains.
The living room includes a log burner fire, and views of the mountains and countryside. There is a hall with a tower ceiling leading to a cloakroom with toilet, also living room and all three bedrooms.
We love sitting on the terrace, enjoying beautiful sunsets, and sometimes the goats passing by under the watchful eyes of the shepherd and his dogs.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a east facing garden, a west facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Villa was spacious, and very clean. Lounge furnishings were slightly dated but very adequate. Kitchen was extremely well stocked in terms of utensils/gadgets etc. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Two sight negatives are that it is a little isolated in terms of location to local shop/cafe - not too much of a problem if you are young and/or fit but I think the location could be better explained in the web-site decription - for me a car is essential. Also we were disturbed very early morning by neighbours barking dogs which we may not have noticed quite so much had we not had our 3 year old grandson with us!

Well returned from a wonderful holiday in your fantastic house in Portugal. We feel for giving you this feedback. The house was a bit difficult to find (we were three hours late end arrived around 4.30 in the morning), but when we arrived we were so positively surprised by everything in the house. The equipment, the general standard, the service by the maids, the gardeners, the pool-boy and by Stefanie. the beaches, the nearby villages and the surroundings - everything was better than expected. We did not consider the rent cheap - but it was worth every penny !! Thank you for a wonderful stay in your house. We hope to come back again. Anja and Torben Balmer. Denmark

As the description says "stunning villa in a beautiful location". Everything in the villa to make it a home from home with the added luxury of a swimming pool. A few bars and restaurants in walking distance but to really enjoy the area you would need a car. We arrived a little late for the shops so really appreciated that we had been left a welome package of essentials like water and bread which got our holiday off to a good start. Would definitley recommend this villa to family and friends

The only problem was not related to the house, but in the area a lot of neighbours where keeping dogs, and these dogs actually made a lot of noise. Not only in daytime, but also in the evening.

Simply a great villa. For family, group, couples or golfing holidays the villa is perfect. The rooms are well sized with great en-suites. I would recommend it to anyone.

The property was superb! It was exactly as featured on the website and the fact it was so well equipped exceeded our expectations. Absolutely loved the decor, warm colours, its high standard, the pool and barbeque. The communication with you and with the owner of the property was without any problems. I would definately recommend this property to my friends, I am already spreading the word :) You are doing excellent job, keep it that way! All the best!
