This was our second time staying at this property, and as ever Celia and Kelvin were so accomodating. We are planning to make this yearly event.
Thankyou, this property is amazing, so spacious and clean. You will not be disappointed.

My partner, myself and my 4 year old son stayed at this house for 4 wonderful months. The house is big, The rooms are clean, modern and fully-furnished. Celia is a perfect hostess and was very helpful to us, answering all our enquiries and gone the extra mile to find out information for us.
Murtinheira is a charming hamlet, surrounded by river. we can hear the sound of the water even in her house. there is this quirky wooden bridge which we nicknamed "Indiana jones" bridge which my 4 years old absolutely adored.
There is a yoga studio next to the house which is very convenient.
This is a place that we would highly recommend to anyone.

Wow! We had an amazing three weeks a Casa de Isabel. Our first impressions of the property on entry was that it looked even better than the pictures.
Celia and her husband Kelvin were so accomodating. From the stocked kitchen on arrival to taking us to the supermarket and they even took my two daughters down to see they donkeys one evening.
The night silence was refreshing.
Celia thought of everything, there was a paddle pool for the girls. She provided toys, a mobile phone with credit, maps and fliers of things to do in and around the area.
There are some amazing river beaches near by. This place is the whole package. We will be back soon.

This is a wonderful property and area. There are three double bedrooms of which it was hard to make our minds up which room we were to sleep in. All had positive reasons to choose them. They are all perfect. The property is very clean and had all, and much more amenities than we personally needed. Having two reception/sitting rooms was nice as one could be used for quietly reading without the TV. Lots of space to be alone if needed. Views from all windows are wonderful and different. At night it is deafeningly quiet, so no problems for sleeping. Celia (owner) is very attentive to make sure we had the best time and experience possibly. Thank you Celia.
The cost of the accommodation is so inexpensive, its unbelievably good value for all that you get for it. For those that like the TV of an evening will find a good few channels to choose from so there is always something to watch. For those that dont watch the TV, will enjoy the perfect peace that I did. My Mother is disabled with a walking stick but didnt find the stairs much of a problem to the front door.
I will be going again, as soon as i am able. Mother too.
Overall: Excellent in all areas.
There are many beautiful walks, man made beaches, mountains, Forests, rivers and Gorges. All very unique and beautiful.
The local people are very friendly and love to help you where they can.
A piece of Heaven. Cant wait to go back.

We loved the locality and views and enjoyed some local walks. Next time we will hire a car and go further afield as there are some interesting places in the area. Would definitely return here.

What a lovely place! I found it so quiet and peaceful, it was easy to chill out and relax. I had lots of nice walks and thought the river beach was special - also the icecream! It was easy to walk to the local shop to pick up supplies and I shall certainly come again.

What a lovely place! I really chilled out and enjoyed the natural surroundings. But I was also able to walk to the nearest shop for supplies, so I had the best of both worlds!
