The apartment was spacious and very clean, thanks I imagine to the managering agents. However, the kitchen equipment was most disappointing. 2 wine glasses (neither matched). 5 dinner plates and 2 side plates. 5 knives and forks ( again no matching set). No baking trays, 3 plastic cereal bowls. 5 soup dishes.
We were an adult family of 4 and enjoy self catering as well as eating out. We had friends, who live in Lagos, to dinner and frankly it was embarrassing entertaining friends without cutlery or crockery.
The twin bedroom had 2 beds and side tables. No chair and no dressing table. In order to wash and dry my hair I had to put my hairbrushes on the floor! At my age that is totally unacceptable.
There were 3 spots lights missing (2 in the hall and 1 on the kitchen). The floor light had no lights at all and one of the wall lights in the lounge needing replacing.
The patio furniture is past its sell by date and needs replacing
The apartment is better suited to a young couple and children under 10.
Having said all of that, Lagos was just as lovely (We lived there for 2 years from 2002).
The apartment needs to be redecorated (scuff marks on the walls)
We have stayed in the Marina before and frankly had better value for our money.

The apartment was very spacious with a fantastic lounge/dining area. The balcony gave a good view of the quieter end of the Marina. The apartment was very quiet but ideally situated. Opposite the supermarket and within a few minutes walk of plenty of restaurants and bars. Lagos town is a 10 minute walk away. You cannot go hungry in Lagos, so much variety is available and everyone is extremely hospitable. Everything in the apartment was in good working order and the shower was fantastic!

Well equipped apartment in a good location with view of the marina from the balcony and round the corner from the supermarket. Short walk to good marina bars and restaurants and 10-15 mins to beach or old town. Pool at Marina Club handy and very child friendly.

This Marina View apartment is a great place to stay. The location couldnt be better with the marina right on your doorstep, the local beach Meia Praia is beautiful and youve got a supermarket within a couple of minutes walk. The old town with all sorts of bars and restaurants is also within easy reach, you dont really need a car to stay here.
The apartment itself is very nice and has everything you need. We would definitely go back.

Our family of four had a great stay at this apartment, overlooking Lagos marina. It is ideal for families of up to 4 and is spacious and well layed out. Our stay was in October 2009 and it was largely still hot and sunny allowing for good use to be made of the sun balcony and even the air conditioning which is available in every room. It really was a very pleasant place to stay: quiet, clean, decent shower, sizeable en-suite for the master bedroom, and very very well placed for access to the marina (1 minute), the supermarket (2 minutes) and really close to the old town restaurants (10 to 15 minutes, perfect for digestion on the way back home!) and the beach (10 minutes). Handy to have a car to explore farther away places and some of the other great beaches along the coast, but there is plenty to do around the beach, marina and old town so a car is not essential. Very pleasant to find that the description of the property and surroundings on the web was accurate, possibly even understating the appeal of this particular property. No faults at all!
