The penthouse was stunning and provided everything we needed for our stay in Villamoura. The hot tub was great, as was the barbeque and we made use of the wi-fi facility and the air conditioning. There were 6 of us and this was a perfect sized penthouse. It was cleaned thoroughly once during our stay, with clean towels being provided, as well as towels for the beach. I would recommend that you hire a car during your stay.

5 of us stayed at this property for the first week in September.
The appartment was fantastic. Very modern and spacious and comfortable.
We had no problem locating the appartment with the directions given and we able to easily access the apartment using the arrival instructions given.
The appartment is located on 3 levels. Three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the lower level. The living room, dining area and kitchen on the middle level and the roof terrace on the top level. The appartment is luxurios throughout.
The kitchen was fully equiped with everything we needed.
The appartment has good air conditioning in each room.
There is an information book in the appartment, but it is more about the area than about the actual appartment itself.
There are no instructions how to operate the hot tub, safe tv and satellite equipment.
We had to call the emergency number to get info on how to operate the hot tub which was turned off. It turned out you had to turn on a switch in a hidden fuse box at the back of a cupboard, but there was no information to advise of this!!
Also there were no informatioms advising of the keyfob in the appartment which could be used to operated the security gates.
The hot tub was nice, but wouldnt always heat up very warm.
The showers and spa baths were very good.
The Marina is about a 15minute walk down the main road from the appartment and ranged between 5 and 8 Euros in a taxi.
The pool area was larger than expected and fairly quite. We had no problems getting 5 sun loungers.
The appartment wasnt cleaned during the week we stayed and our sheets and towels were not replaced at all during our week stay. A cleaner did arrive one morning and advised whe would return that afternoon when we were out but she did not.
Overall this is a lovely, spacious and luxurious property and would definitely reccomend for groups of 5 to 8 people.

We had a lovely holiday at this exceptional property. It was a real home from home. Lots of space and storage throughout. The complex itself was very clean and well kept, no fighting for beds at the poolside. The only down side for us was that we didnt get use of the hot-tub, as it was not working! Despite reporting this and an attempt at trying to get it fixed , we were still not able to use it! As this was one of the main reasons we chose the villa we were really disappointed!!! The owner has offered a further discount if we book to come back, but this is probably unlikely as my son is 17 and will probably be going on holiday with friends next year, so the villa would be too large for the rest of our family!!!!

The local manager tried to do his best to repair the heating of hot-tub, but the spare parts were ordered from Spain and it took time.
The hot tub is repaired and works.

We had a lovely time at the apartment. It was very clean and beautifully furnished. Even with 8 of us staying in the apartment we had plenty space and never felt like we were living on top of one another. The roof terrace is nothing short of spectacular and it allowed us to enjoy the sunshine within the comfort of the apartment.
The resort was quiet and we all felt very safe there.
The centre of Villamoura is about a 25min walk away which was fine for the most part although we found that the car came in handy for trips to the supermarket and if the weather was a bit hot for walking.
We had a few problems with the hot tub and a leaking roof, but there was always someone there pretty swiftly to deal with any difficulties.
There is no wifi in the apartment however which was a bit annoying, but then again perhaps being cut off from the world is what hoidaying is all about.
Couldnt recommend this apartment more highly....

The complex is made up of 3 apartment blocks. The apartment is a block that is not overlook the swimming pool. This is a clean, secure and modern apartment with plenty of room for 7 of us. Well furnished with new appliances including 42" LCD with satellite receiver to watch BBC1 etc. Large roof terrace with BBQ and a jacuzzi. There are also large balconies for 3 other rooms.
The swimming pool area was never crowded during our stay at the end of July. There is a large shallow area for young children and a lifeguard was regularly present.
We had a small problem getting the water heater to work, but we called the emergency number provided and José, the onsite management, resolved the problem immediately.
My only criticism is the lack of information provided eg all the instructions for the appliances we found shut away in a kitchen cupboard. It would have been nice to have had a folder with instructions on how to use the appliances with some local information on supermarkets, taxis etc.
I would definitely recommend the apartment to family and friends.

The apartment is lovely and spacious and well laid out and the roof terrace is ideal for any sun worshipper. The complex gardens and pool area are very well maintained. We had a most relaxing holiday and will definitely be holidaying there again.

I booked this apartment on behalf of my boss and his family and they had nothing but praise for the accommodation. The standard of the accommodation far exceeded their expectations. It was absolutely immaculate and laid out in such a way that you feel you have plenty of space, something which was very important to them as they were there for 3 weeks. The apartment has a huge terrace as well as a hot tub which they made full use of during their stay. We will definitely be re-booking the apartment next year and I have already recommended it to friends and family. From the intial booking and throughout the stay everything was taken care of, something that was very important to me when booking on behalf of my boss!!
