I stayed with my 3 kids in this apartment - it really suited us. The pool was great - the kids had a ball. Right opposite the beach enterance - perfect. Great location for accessing the old town and the newer end. Felt very secure with the lacked gate sustem. It was always locked by guests. Lots of steps up to the apartment but that added to my security, and I did not have a buggy. Would recommend.

We spent a lovely few weeks in this apartment. Everything you could wish for is there The location is superb really central but also very quiet and peaceful. Cannot recommend it enough ,looking forward to returning soon. The complex is very nicely kept and the gardens are special. Really appreciated the welcome pack.

Another delightful few weeks spent at Caleton Blanco. The weather, the apartment and the resort in general lived up to all our expectations. Recent fabric improvements to B15 were the icing on a very enjoyable cake.

spacious well laid out apartment, very large front balcony overlooking beach across road and wonderful views all around coast ,mountains, feuterventura. 2nd good sized balcony on side very sheltered with good views. Bathroom with plenty of towels provided and bedrooms a good size, very hot but fans provided.Complex kept v clean.Pools lovely ,good size to swim .93 steps to apartment but in small blocks and when just across road from beach they didnt seem that bad! Back gate to complex gives easy acess to supermarkets and a short walk to biosfera shopping centre.we travelled with 3yr old grandaughter and had a fantastic holiday.situation ideal for us all!

Spent 4 weeks in the apartment mid Feb - mid March. We thought the location of the apartment was first class. Some of the items in the apartment were a little tired. We were initially disappointed that the satellite TV did not include the main BBC and ITV channels but that did not spoil our stay in any way. I guess peoples view of the facilities will vary depending on whether you are eating out or self catering. Self catering facilities are limited but you can cope with a little imagination in your menu. Eating out is very easy and very cheap given that there are several hundred restaurants competing for your business. Overall we had a great time.

If you want a sea, beach and mountain view, this is the apartment for you! Dont get put off by the 90+ steps to the property, its not as bad as it sounds, and its defiantly worth it for the view and how close you are to the local amenities! We are in our thirties, but I wouldnt recommend it to families with a pram or walking difficulties. Your only a few mins walk to bars, cafes, supermarkets, and restaurants, and the clean beach is only across the road. A bus stop and taxi rank is right next to the complex and its only a 3 euro ride or a 10 minute walk to the old town, which is recommended for further atmosphere. Even with the complex being behind and above some busy young bars, Linekers, etc, you cant hear the music at night, infact, its a very quiet complex with cctv! The apartment was nice and bright. It had 2 patios so youve loads of space to sit out and sunbathe. The master bedroom has a very comfy double bed and plenty of space for storing clothes etc. The bathroom was spacious, and despite the shower door kept falling off its runners, it was easily fixable each time u had a shower! It was lovely to receive a welcome pack - water, bread, coffee, biscuits, milk and wine, when we arrived, along with recommended places to go etc. If your in to watching t.v on holiday, the sky channels were very limited, and need updating, and Wifi would also be recommended to be installed. There was a dvd player and hi-fi also. An Fm aerial would be handy though! The actual complex was very clean. The pools were regulary cleaned, and there was quite a few sun loungers available. We was here for a week in February, and the weather was warm to hot in the day and chilly at night. Even if the wind gets up, theres no problem with still sitting out. Eventhough we didnt see the 2 ladies who cleaned the apartment over the 7 days, there was enough towels to use. I would certainly recommend the apartment to a friend, and if we visited Lanzarote in the future, I would stay here again! Thank you for the recommended stay!!

Maggie and I reckon that this apartment is unbeatable in Puerto Del Carmen for beach, sea and nearby mountain views. Our second visit to the apartment was every bit as enjoyable as our first and the pool-side and environs of the complex are great for families if youre not a beachy person. The beach itself is superb and we tiddled our tootsies every single morning, the full length of the beach and back. A taxi stance and bus stop are positioned very close to Caleton on the now re-vamped promenade(it was pretty dire until its completion last year) so you can now get a bus for the other resorts from there, or for Arrecife which is a truly interesting and completely underestimated Capital "toon". The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. We tried the washing machine this year (to BOLDly go), which was a dawdle to use, in which case well take considerably less gear next time. Proof of the pudding is that we came back home and immediately booked for another few weeks next year. Anyone reading this should note that there are a number of stairs/steps to reach the apartment and,(without you requiring to be Sherpa Tensing), you do need to be fit enough to be capable of negotiating the stairs. Assuming youre reasonably healthy, the apartment is a delight. (Jim and Maggie, aged 60+).

It is with regret that I have to express our great disappointment with your apartment. When we arrived we noticed the TV was not working so we called Trisha and she was very efficient and had it replaced within a day. However this should not have happened, the TV should have been checked and replaced before we arrived. Then we went to have a shower and noticed that the shower door was broken and hanging off the runner, again we had to call Trisha and she had a guy up to the apartment the next day and he said that the runner on the shower door needs to be replaced. 2 weeks later and the shower door still not fixed. We had to be careful everytime we used it. It was very annoying. Then we went to bed that night and the duvet cover had a blood or chocolate stain on it (didnt look too hard as it was disgusting). The cleaner had it turned dirty side down but this was very off putting and total lack of care. Over all we felt the apartment was very dirty on arrival, the dust was unreal, the floors were dirty we could feel it when we walked on our bare feet. There was loads of dust behind the furniture, disgusting amount in the lamps in our bedroom. Arlene, your sofas are extremely uncomfortable and extremely dirty. We could not get comfortable and felt the dirt off them when we sat down. Fridge too small for the size of apartment. It didnt keep all items cold as it was way too small. The coffee table is broken in the living room we went to move it and it nearly fell on one of the kids, the top part has come away from the legs, this is very dangerous and again total lack of care. This would be easy to fix. Paul spent the first few days changing light bulbs, every time we went to turn a light on the bulb was gone. The room my sister had with the 2 single beds the lighting is awful, the light over the mirror is gone. Also the sockets in the bedrooms are very dangerous, hanging off the wall. This is all very low maintenance work but just neglected and makes the difference for your guests. Guests paying you money should not have to go around changing light bulbs and fixing items that are broken. I think the cleaner should come in and clean the apartment once or twice a week not just once a week and just change the bed linen, the towels were not changed at all. My sister had to pay €175 for bed linen, I think she was way overcharged and she didnt even get a linen change as she was only staying 1 week. In order to keep your premises up to date and clean I really think the cleaners need to call in more than once in 2 weeks and clean the apartment, she should have cleaned the floors and bathroom but nothing was done. Sorry to be negative but for the money we paid we really feel we didnt get value for money and we were so looking forward to this holiday and alot of people are waiting for our feedback but to be honest I couldnt recommend this apartment due to the furniture and lack of cleaniness. Shame as it a superb location and has great potential. Trisha contacted us on the Monday to ask us to move out at 10am Wednesday morning, which we didnt mind and in fairness she gave us another apartment but in a different location. I have to compliment Trisha she was very efficient, friendly and professional. Kind Regards Paul and Fiona Daly 2 Broadway Road Blanchardstown Dublin 15

Owner reply:
Unfortunately Trisha said the TV was working before Fiona and Paul arrived, the shower was again checked (it had to be as it was cleaned inside and out) and was working fine, it had just been forced open. At the time of this booking I called Fiona and was told that she had to change 2 bulbs in the apartment which unfortunately is beyond anyones control when they are done and she told me she was enjoying her holiday except for changing the bulbs!!!! The extra money is not for bed linen, it's for an extra person and we even let 2 children stay here for the 2 weeks free of charge due to a death in their family. Trisha told us that Fiona was heavily pregnant at the time of this holiday and complained every time she had to climb the steps (one of the reasons we do not recommend our apartment to anyone with walking difficulties) even though we do state that there are many steps to the apartment, we cant change the walk to the apartment unfortunately. Trisha and her team prides themselves on the cleaning and the maintenance of the apartment and because I wouldn't offer more of a discount I seem to have received a rather nasty review. I would hope that potential guests would review every other guests thoughts and see the difference themselves. Regards, Arlene

I have just returned from staying at B15 Caleton Blanco. I stayed for 5 days with my girlfriend. I thought it was good value for money for just two people, so to stay there with 4-5 people it would be a bargain. We were very impressed with the apartment, nicely kept, massive balcony at the front which is fairly private as you are very high up. We didnt even use the one at the rear as the view from the front was quite spectacular whislt enjoying a drink in the evenings. We will definietly be returning to this apartment in the future. If you have difficulty with stairs I would not recommend this apartment as there are 91 steps to get to the front door. But as long as you dont mind the exercise then I would thouroughly give this place a try!!

The apartment was good value for money, mainly because I value sea views and the situation highly. We had been invited for a coffee by the then occupants last year so we were familiar with what to expect. We would definately recommend to a friend although reasonable fitness and a head for heights is a pre-requisite for potential renters. The cleaning service was fairly minimal and we had two changes of bedding in the three weeks we were there. Definately intend going back.

Views of beach/sea are great. Booked again for next years summer holiday ! If you enjoy Lanzarote/Puerto del Carmen then you will be not disappointed with this apartment choice.

We had a fantastic time at this apartment. Views from the large balcony are amazing as well as the other balcony overlooking the pool area. The apartment has everything - just like home from home! There are quite a lot of stairs up to the apartment - this was not a problem. The location is ideal in the middle of bars, restaurants, shops and just across the road from the beach. We were very well looked after and have no hesitation in recommending to friends. Hope to stay here again in the future - maybe two weeks next time!!

Just arrived back after a week in the Caleton Blanco. Had a lovely time. The apartment was fabulous. The personal touches made it very homely. The steps were really only a problem when carrying a suitcase, a ramp would have been handy! The location is ideal.

The 90 odds steps that you have to climb to reach the apartment is well worth it as the views are lovely. There is a good selec tion of Cds, DvDs and games. The apartment is well furnished inside and out. The secure complex has two pools which are clean and maintained daily. Our stay was during the volcano disruption so all flights to England were cancelled, throughout the uncertainty the owner was in regular contact with us and kindly offered us the chance to stay in the apartment until flights resumed. A brilliant holiday in a beautiful apartment! We will be returning sooner rather than later!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 week stay at Caleton Blanco. The apartment was everything we expected but for us the great attraction was the huge expanse of balcony overlooking the beach directly in front of the apartment. The apartment also has the benefit of balconies to the side and it was always possible to find somewhere to sit depending whether you prefer sun or shade. The front balcony also has a large wooden sun shade which we found very practical. There were sun beds and patio tables/chairs for both main balcony areas and we noticed that a new washing machine had been installed in a cupboard on the side balcony. The inside of the apartment has recently been decorated and the new bathroom is really lovely with a splendid new shower enclosure. Bed linen was changed every Thursday and we were delighted to find that towels were changed twice weekly. Despite the close proximity of numerous bars and restaurants the apartment was amazingly quiet. On numerous occasions we realised that the only sound at night seemed to come from the breaking waves on the beach. The apartment was adequately furnished although the kitchen was rather smaller than we had expected. There was no oven and the 2 ring electric hob proved to be somewhat limiting. The 90+ steps to the apartment would undoubtedly be an issue for some but the climb is well worth the effort. There is rear access to the complex from the road that runs parallel to the seafront and there was always space to park somewhere near to this rear entrance. Overall, we thought the apartment was a delight. We loved the front patio and felt that we received good value for money. We will definitely return to Lanzarote and as we felt this apartment offered us almost everything we could wish for in a holiday apartment. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment to other holiday makers – we certainly hope to be able to stay there again.

On first arrival I was a little concerned that it may be noisey due to the central location. However I had no need to worry as we never heard a thing (and Im a very light sleeper!). The apartment itself had recently been decorated and a brand new bathroom had been installed. Although there are quite a number of steps to negotiate the views from both balconys are well worth it. The apartment had everyting you could want, possibly the only downside would be the fact that their are only 2 electric rings on the cooker (No oven) but if like us you mainly eat out (and due to the location you are spoilt for choice) on holiday this does not present a problem. All in all we would highly recomend this apartment.

The property and outside space had everything and more than we had hoped for. We like our privacy on holiday, and the huge front balcony and the side balcony certainly provided that. (The views were amazing!). The facilities inside the apartment were excellent, and the difference between a private owned property against a company owned property was very visible. The personal touches down to the books, dvds, music centre, even the mugs (instead of small teacups), drawer full of adaptors and batteries etc., hairdryer and straightners really made the difference. We holiday in Lanzarote a couple of times a year and are already looking to book again in the future. PS - the steps leading to the apartment are not as bad as made out - it is well worth the small hike!

Superb property. Location is ideal. Seconds from the beach and the pool is perfect. Certainly lots of steps to get there, but wouldnt let that put you off. The front terrace overlooking the seafront is enormous and the side balcony large also - means that there is always at least one outside space with shade/sun depending on your preference. Sheets and towels were changed 4 times during the fortnight which was an added bonus. Plenty crockery, glasses etc. Beds comfy. The pool and grounds were kept spotless and we never struggled for sunbeds & umbrella by the pool. Pool very deep - no shallow end - but ideal for our boys (15 and 11). Parking easy at the back gate. In short, we had a ball and would happily stay there again. Many thanks.

The outside space makes the accommodation really work. We were a party of 4 and at times there was always a space somewhere where you could have some peace and quiet. The stairs were a bit of a climb when you had cases but when you got there is was worth it.

Stayed here for a week early Nov 08. Arrived much earlier than the check in time of 3pm but cleared that with the owner which was great. The appartment was spacious, clean and airy. Our first time staying at a privately owned appartment and you could see the personal difference immediately. We had a DVD Player with a selec tion of family DVDs, a CD Player with CDs, a selec tion of books and games. We also had Sky News. Great to have all these, as the beach gets cool around 5pm and you are at a loose end as you wait to go out to dinner. Kitchen facilities are quite good too, you could actually cook something here. (there are also personal things like a book with restaurant recommendations in it, local magazines, books and maps on Lanzarote, mosquito repellants, hair dryer and hair straightener)We had two balconies, though one of them was more like a garden it was so big, and we had our breakfast here every morning, looking out over the street and the beach. (you only see a little of the street, and you are far back enough that the sound does not reach you) In the evenings you could watch the sun set behind the mountains and then watch the cruise liners pass in the night. The location is great, right across from the beach. To the left, you have the strip, and to the right (10 mins stroll) the much nicer old harbour area for gorgeous restuarants. Id recommend La Bodega (dont be put off by the Qs, they move fast) and Indian Zaffran. You also have a pub right in front of the apartments, The Redz, great place to start and/or finish your night. The pool area was very quiet, but with the beach so close who cares?. As the apartment is the highest, there are alot of steps, however they are spaced out with various walkway areas so you really dont notice them. Only gripe was the shower was small and the bed was very creaky, but certainly wouldnt let that put me off booking here again. Next time Ill know to bring a few CDs to our own taste, and no need to bring a hair dryer or straighteners. PS Major Road works going on along the strip during our stay, looks like they will be ongoing for some time, but you will be happy to hear that the area outside the apartments looked to be almost finished.

The property is in a fantastic location. From the height you have lovely views all round. Sea front just outside complex, also on the main street with great restuaruants. Even though on the sea front you hear no noise from the apartment. Terrace great for sitting out on all day. The inside of the apartment has all the facilities you need for a comfortable holiday. The only problem is that you need to be fit to climb all the steps but well worth the effort. I would reccommend this property to any one who can cope with the steps.

Caleton Blanco, is in an excellent location, stunning views from both terraces. The apartment is very well equipped for all your needs, and very clean , as was the complex itself. We stayed there in September 2007, and it was really hot, would defenetly benefit from air con, or fans. We will be rturning, as soon as we can. Caleton Blanco is a real gem,

A very nice surprise when we got there. It had all we needed, including microwave, cd, dvd, video, satellite tv (not that we used them, but if you had a family you probably would) it was clean and fresh. The terraces were huge compared with the neighbouring apartments, with two tables and chairs and a set of sun loungers, perfect for sunrise or sunset meals or drinkies. The owners were extemely helpful and pleasant in all of our dealings with them. There are also many excellent restaurants in the 'Old Town' (by the harbour) which was about a ten minute walk from the apartment. As a base, it was fine, we drove all over the island, you can probably get anywhere within the hour. The only downside were the steps up to the apartment, quite difficult with luggage, but there is a 'top gate' if you use this, it's no problem. We would certainly try and book again if we return to Lanzarote. Many thanks.

Owners and property managers can choose to take payment in GBP, Euros or US Dollars. Whilst you can view all properties in one currency to help compare prices, you will be charged in the currency indicated on the advert. You can book & pay in exactly the same way but the price quoted may vary slightly to the amount on your card statement depending on the exchange rate on the dates you pay your deposit and balance.

Breakage Waiver: The owner requires you to pay this fee which covers you for any potential breakages. It is insurance against accidental breakages during your holiday, meaning you do not need to pay any breakage deposit.
