We spent 4 weeks in an unusually cold but sunny January at Font Santa. The owners had just been staying there themselves and made sure that it was beautifully warm and welcoming. The house is in a quiet street in the heart of the typical Spanish village of Sagra. The countryside around is delightful, with a choice of dramatic mountain valleys to explore. It is also in easy reach of the coast - and, for birdwatchers, an extensive area of marshland nature reserve. For those who want to experience real Spain its a far cry from the villa estates further south, where foreigners make up more than half of the population.

WE STAYED IN SANTA FONTA SAGRA IN APRIL 2008.
EXCELLANT ACCOMADATION & FURNISHED TO A VERY HIGH STANDARD. RELAXING LOCATION IN A UNSPOILT SPANISH VILLAGE, VERY FRIENDLY PLACE WITH LOTS OF CHARM.
EASY ACCESS TO COSTAL TOWNS DENIA, JAVIA, CALPE AND LOTS MORE. DEFINATELY WILL BE BACK & RECOMMENED IT TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

The property is well maintained apart from a leak from the kitchen sink, which needs attended to. It was extremely hot when we were there and the property has no air-conditioning.
There is a nice pool which we used frequently and as only a few of the properties are occupied we had the pool practically to ourselves.
Sagra is a lovely village with very friendly people, it has a handful of shops with everything you need, 3 bars and a restaurant but you definitely need a car, Gandia/Oliva and Denia beaches are a must but there are many others to explore in the area. We would use the property again.

The house is in probably the nicest village in the
Jalon Valley, surrounded by orange trees, and nice walks, the views from the front balcony are spectacular. The house has all you need for an easy self catering holiday. The neighbours are friendly and helpful, the Spanish people all said hello, the lady who runs the bakery was particulary nice, and the post office, which is only open from 9.30 - 10 am is a must to visit. I am happy to recommend it to anyone who would like to stay in a lovely village surrounded by great scenery, not too far from the sea at Denia and Javea.

a very nice - excellently furnished house.
We all felt very comfortable.
Descriptions had been accurate so no real surprises.
A quiet, relaxing location - but within easy reach of beaches, bigger towns when necessary.
welcomed by owners friends, they were there for help if we needed it.
All enjoyed a lovely holiday
thank you

Just got back from a 5 night stay at this property. The house benefits from being in the heart of a true Spanish Village. The people there are very friendly, the house itself was like a showhome in pristine condition. A car was essential to view the hidden treasures of this part of Spain.
Would not hesitate in recommending this property! We're already thinking of a return trip later this year.

My wife and I stayed her in January and would highly recommend this facility to everyone. It is brand new, set in a typical unspoiled Spanish surrounding. The house is very tastefully furnished, clinically clean and has all the comforts of home. The complex has predominantley British clients, some who are resident. We found them to be very helpful and typically friendly and charming, pointing us in the right directions for shops etc. No problems at all. We have found a little niche that we we happily return to. It is so nice and comfortable we did not wat to come home.

Very nice accomodation. Has all home comforts for cosy nights in. We hired a car at Alicante Airport, Sagra is straight forward to find, plus it was handy to see all the coastal towns like denia and calpe. there is a massive selection of local restaurants which serve fantastic food. there is one called Pepes which unfortuantely we were unable to get a table for the complete duration of our hols. It came highly recommended as being the best in Spain!! I cant wait to book again into the house and try the food there! As a whole is was a great hol. Definately recommend it!

Just returned home after staying in Font Santa and must write to thank the owners for the best holiday in Spain we have ever had. The House is wonderful, everything you need is right there.
We normally holiday in the more populated holiday towns of Spain but after staying in Orba we will certainly return, (hoping for a second visit this year) the neighbours are so friendly and informative and local restaurants very reasonable and excellent food.
The first week was spent relaxing on the beach with a little wining and dining, The second week we hired a car and discovered the other side of Spain it was mind blowing not to mention the money we saved not being charged tourist prices in the main resorts, it paid for the car in the end.
Thanks again.

We stayed at this house with my two children. We had a fantastic family holiday. The town of Sagra is very Spanish, the people there are very friendly. Unlike other parts of Spain, this is completely unspoilt by tourism, and it has lots of charm and a true Spainish feel! My two children are in their late teens, they had agreat time, and i personally felt they were safe, as the local towns of Denia and Javia are very classy places, unlike Benidorm where i would of been worried about them.
The house has excellent furniture, and has all facilities for you to live there for short or long lets.
Also what I found, was that alot of the other houses on the complex have been bought by people who are using them for their own personal use, so the people living there are very friendly, and they have lots of respect for the complex, which keeps it to a high standard. We actually made new friends on the complex!
I have already booked in for two weeks next year, which we are really looking forward to. We made alot of nice memories and would recommend this place to anyone interested in a true family holiday.

I stayed at Font Santa in March 2007.
I was very impressed with the accommodation. The house is set in a beautiful location. Views of the mountains from the balcony of the master bedroom are spectacular. The bedrooms are spacious with more than enough wardrobe space. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are also laundry facilities. The terrace to the rear of the house is lovely as it gets the sun for most of the day.
This house is situated just outside the main towns but within a short driving distance to some nice restaurants and bars.
I have no hesitation in recommending this house to other interested guests.

We first visited Spain 5 years ago we found the people absolutley fantastic. We fell in love with everything about spain. The village of Sagra is beautiful iddilic and untouched, the villiage is a true picture of rural life. Denia is also 20 mins away where you can find anything you require.
