We visited the villa in early April 2013.
It was absolutely lovely and has everything you could possibly need.
The bedrooms are good sizes and have brilliant storage. There is ample space in the lounge and dining areas. The kitchen is well equipped in terms of oven, dishwasher, microwave, 2 fridge freezers, toaster, washing machine etc etc, but we did find there was a lack of equipment to use in the oven, plenty of pots and pans but no baking trays or oven dishes, perhaps these could be provided for future use?
The outdoor area was wonderful, well designed and spacious. We made full use of the bbq and bar area during our time there.
The swimming pool is a lovely size and was used daily by our party, however the tiles around the pool get slippery fast and could benefit from some form of grip. The pool was deeper than anticipated but this only added to the fun factor as we spent most of our time jumping in and out.
Going back to slippery surfaces, the villa itself could benefit from some runners going from the main walkways, eg- from outside into the living areas, along the corridor to the bedrooms, leading to the kitchen etc etc. I feel this would improve safety.
I would definitely recommend car hire for early on in the season and if you are wanting to go the beach etc. The villa is perfectly positioned and located next to a small strip of restaurants, shops etc but being early in the season they werent always open. However we cannot complain as we were very well looked after and were able to use the same people who did our airport transfer to take us out and about, they were both very friendly, informative and cheaper than the taxis too!
The owner of the villa was also very accommodating, communications were excelling, from pre booking and throughout. He also went out of his way to ensure we were able to check in early than normal, meaning that we were not stuck in the airport with bored small children.
I would definitely recommend the villa to anyone, be it a party of young adults, families, or even those wishing for a relaxing escape.
We had a wonderful time and would visit again.

Simply Paradise!!! Garden and pool are amazing! We were lucky with the weather for this time of year, basically spent the whole week outside, sunbathing during the day, eating dinner in the evening on the patio, and then out for drinks at night!! The privacy is also a massive plus!! Will defenitely be back

Had a reaily nice time at the villa local people are very frenidly very close to beach, supermarket,bar and many more loads of places to eat out. Would definitly be back next year

Really enjoyed our stay in Villa Margerita. It was accurately described and was everything we were hoping for. Its near all amenities, and we simply loved Benelmadena Pueblo. The gardens are beautiful, its so peaceful and relaxing. It is very private and secure, the parking was perfect too. Was very hot when we were there but I understand there is air con being installed soon, that will be a big plus. Would definitely recommend to a friend, Hopefully well be back again soon!

Myself and the family had a brilliant stay in the villa!! The pool and gardens are amazing, the kids loved jumping in and out all day long. Sitting in the garden in the evening sipping a cocktail felt like heaven! The villa is a great size too as there was 8 of us there. Dont really have anything negative to say except maybe a change of colour in the bathrooms would be nice. Will definitely be back next year!!

We had a great time and the Villa was exactly what we hoped for. The description is accurate, its comfortable and everything works properly. The beds could have been a bit more comfortable and the address given to us could have been more accurate but aside from that everything was fine.

Had a lovely week at the Villa Margarita.
Gardens are beautiful and rightly so are the big selling point, Pool was excellant and just the right size for us.
Location is very nice, quiet road and very very secure property.
Interior and bathrooms are a little tired but I cannot see this being a problem once the decorating has been complete, I will be interested too see what it looks like when finished.
Also air conditioning would be a massive plus to this property but understand that will also be going in next year.
Overall a great time had at this villa.
Also would like to say the owner of this property has been very helpful in answering all questions before we travelled.

A well positioned villa within easy walking distance to the local shops and bars plus very close to the nearest bus stop at the top of the hill. The well kept gardens are very peaceful, private and completely secluded, so you are not over looked by anyone, perfect. We really enjoyed lazing around on the sun beds and cooling off in the nice kidney shaped swimming pool and eating outside on the covered terrace area. Secure off street parking behind the remote electric gates was very classy. Inside the villa was clean but seemed a bit dated in places, especially both the bathrooms and some of the kitchen, but it didnt affect us at all. Other than a few light bulbs that needed changing, we couldnt fault it. We loved staying there and will definitely return again, would be a fantastic villa after a re-dec and having air con fitted.

owner said there was no numbers. but the numbers are are what you can see:- no 1 on first gate & no 24 on second gate but in different street off calle segovia calle velez

This is very unfair negative feedback: 1.the fridge broke and it was replaced straight away. 2. We had trouble with the internet and had a new internet provider install wifi after the 2nd or 3rd day of the holiday, and there has been internet there ever since, a bit harsh to say there was no internet when it was there for most of the holiday. 3. This was the first we heard about the DVD player, it went missing and we can only presume that previous guests took it with them or maybe broke it, but it has since been replaced with a new one. 4. Fuses kept blowing purely because there was too many people plugging things in at the same time, this is the only complaint we have ever received in regards to fuses. 5. It was never advertised as wheel chair accessible, we said it was "suitable for elderly or disabled as all of the property is on the one level", this is all we said, nothing about wheelchair accessibility. 6. Clear directions were given from the airport directly to the villa, we even provided a map and highlighted the way to go, marking out exactly which roads to take, it is not very difficult to find, and we provide this map for all our guests who never usually have any difficulty finding the property. These comments really disappoints us as we go out of our way to ensure people have a great holiday when they stay with us. I don't know if the person knew how negative their comments sound because they say it "met expectations", overall "good" and would recommend it.

The house is very spacious the garden was amazing the pool was the perfect size the supermarket was 3 min drive or 10 min walk, Tivoli is close by too.
Myself and my family really enjoyed our week there i do though suggest that air conditioning in the bedrooms is needed at night it was very warm the fans did not do allot and the master bedroom needs a new bed you can tell it is very old and it is not very comfy.
Other than the above no complaints what so ever loved the house and the location and they were very formal.
Will definatly go there again.

Glad to hear you had a great holiday, you'll be glad to know that the bed has since been removed and a new bed is now there in place. Also we should have air conditioning for next summer but have inserted more fans in the mean time, I believe the weather was particularly hot during your stay too. We'll also be redecorating during the winter so it will be even more beautiful when hopefully we see you there again next summer :)
