We chose this bungalow at Camposol for its sheltered sunny aspect and superior location, being one of the few bungalows with a garden. We wanted a good location, so a corner house next to open countryside fitted the bill. We hope you also like it.

Casa Bellavista is at the edge of Camposol Golf, with views across miles of open countryside. The garden has a hibiscus and cypress hedge, olive trees and seasonal flowers plus uninterrupted views across miles of open surrounding countryside where you're free to roam.

Camposol Golf course, driving range, club house, bar and restaurant are just a short stroll away. The golf course bar and restaurant holds regular entertainment evenings and happy hours.

For outdoor living you'll have a small portable barbecue, two sunbeds, outdoor table and chairs. The sunny front terrace is bathed in sunshine from early morning until mid afternoon. The villa also has a large rooftop solarium and an enclosed rear patio.

The lounge and bedrooms have fixed electric wall heaters and ceiling fans to keep the house cool. If you wish, we can also arrange portable air conditioner rental.

We will set the television up for you with your choice of either Spanish or UK free view channels. We are at the edge of the UK channel receiving area so, at times such as in wet weather, they may be unavailable.

The kitchen has the following electric appliances: full size oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, washing machine and kettle.

The bathroom has a full size bath with shower attachment and a glazed splash panel.

We've made a useful information pack with suggestions of things to do and places to go plus maps and brochures we've collected from our own days out. We have a selection of books, so you can leave your finished books and take a new one home.

Camposol Golf Urbanisation .....

Camposol is a large urbanisation, set in open countryside, 15 kms inland from the numerous blue flag quality beaches of Mazarron Bay. The nearest beaches are at Bolnuevo and Puerto de Mazarron.

A holiday at Camposol suits couples and families looking for a holiday on a friendly, multi national urbanisation set in the Murcian countryside with a mixture of permanent residents, holidaymakers and holiday homeowners.

Camposol`s 18 hole golf course has a driving range, practice putting area and a popular clubhouse bar and restaurant, which is open to all and has wonderful views to the surrounding hills and mountains. The clubhouse serves an excellent Sunday lunch and offers a range of evening entertainment including live bands, barbecue evenings, quiz evenings etc

We recommend the attractive open air summer pool at Mazarron Country Club, about 3km from Camposol.

Camposol's commercial centre is about 2km from our villa, by the entrance to Camposol. It has supermarkets, banks, hair salon, internet cafe, petrol station, ten pin bowling alley and snooker hall, restaurants and bars with regular evening entertainment (live local bands, dinner dances, bingo, quizzes, tribute groups, comedians etc).

There is an additional shopping centre, which is maybe 2.5km from the villa, on the older part of Camposol. This has a hair salon, more bars and restaurants, two car rental outlets, travel agents who can organize local trips, a traditional bodega (wine shop) and an English butcher.

Camposol has an on site travel agency which sells flights, trips, theme park tickets, train tickets, car rental etc.

We consider a car to be essential for visiting and enjoying a holiday in this beautiful countryside location. There are two car hire companies at Camposol.

Out and About in Murcia and the Costa Calida .....

The Costa Calida (warm coast) enjoys some of Spain’s best summer sunshine and warm winter weather, with an average of 300 sunny days a year. The numerous Blue Flag sandy beaches, where you can swim, snorkel, dive, fish or relax under the Spanish sun, are rarely crowded.

The coastal areas of Mazarron and Puerto de Mazarron boast some of the finest beaches in Spain and the untouched nature of the coastline and countryside appeals to those who seek a tranquil environment for their holidays.

In summer, Mazarron has a couple of night clubs and two open-air out of town summer clubs which start very late and continue until sunrise.

Puerto de Mazarron has an attractive new marina, a variety of restaurants, tapas bars, evening entertainment bars, cultural activities including an open air summer cinema, indoor and outdoor sports facilities including ten pin bowling, sports hall, kart track, an uncovered Roman salt factory museum and a newly opened (or soon to be opened) Phonecian boat information centre.

The council regularly provides free beach concerts and has theme beaches with facilities for different ages with a variety of free sports and relaxation facilities - even designated nudist beaches.

Puerto is one of the most important tourist centres for marine and sub-aquatic activities in Spain. The frequency of prevailing winds throughout the year in the Bay of Mazarron means sailing instruction and practice can be undertaken at any time of the year. The clear waters and rich flora and fauna offer the enthusiast some highly interesting dives.

The area is ideal for walking holidays, with a variety of marked walks to suit all abilities.

Cartagena, a historic city with beautiful architecture, a pedestrianised upmarket shopping area, a variety of museums, newly opened (unearthed) Roman ampitheatre and a large port with a seafront paseo, is 30 minutes away by car.

The ancient city of Murcia is the capital of the region. It is easy to get to by train or road and has a historical centre with a cathedral, casino, churches and lots of interesting architecture, cafes, taps bars and some quality restaurants.

Whilst in the area, a visit to the beautiful Sierra Espuna National Park, to the north of Mazarron, through Totana or Alhama is a must. The drive and views are spectacular. On the journey and in the park there are local Spanish bars and restaurants serving good quality, reasonably priced food, or you can take your own food to cook on the outdoor barbecues in the designated picnic areas. The park has a visitor centre and signposted walks with amazing views

Water shortages are normal in coastal areas of Spain, so water availability is sometimes restricted at the height of summer when there is a massive increase in use.
