apartment rental in Corralejo, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands

Stayed at Atlantic Gardens 3rd Feb. 2013 for 1 week, had a lovely holiday, even though weather was overcast all week we needed to wear fleeces throughout but still with shorts and flip-flops! The apartment was a little more worn than photos on internet suggested at the time of booking, first appearances were disappointing and there was an awful smell to the apartment, we later discovered if we kept the bathroom door shut the smell was kept at bay. It improved throughout the week so think it may have just been a lack of use in the pipes. Quite a few things were broken and worn and the cleanliness wasn’t up to scratch (someone else’s shampoo dribbles down the outside of bath). The TV didn’t work, which we weren’t too bothered about as we only wanted to see the weather reports and the CD player was also broken, when you are paying for something it’s not too much to expect it to be in good working order! we did manage to find a radio station which was like a step back in time playing only 70’s music which we found a refreshing change to the norm. The sun loungers on the balcony were both split so unable to use! We did have a contact tel number if there was a problem but these things weren’t a big deal to us and by no means spoilt our holiday we really enjoyed it so didn’t bother reporting anything. With a little more care and attention to maintenance and state of repair it could be really GOOD not just OK, was it value for money? Yes.... aside from cleanliness that a pack of antibacterial wipes helped and disrepair it was a well positioned apartment with a great balcony (When we did See the sun peak through for a second) the complex itself was lovely, very quiet at this time of year although we didn’t get in the pool as not heated Brrr....location was great took ten mins to walk into the main street with really lovely restaurants and shops. There is a handy shopping complex next door to resort with supermarket open till 10pm... although the meals were very cheap so we ate out every night. Easy instructions for access to the apartment no problems at all. Would recommend the area and Atlantic Gardens resort but maybe another apartment if this one isn’t refurbished soon, shame really with a little more effort it could be perfect.

Had a great time at Atlantic Gardens. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. The kids loved the pools and it was so easy to get to the beach and water park. Some great restaurants in the town too. Was really nice having a driver meet us in the airport and take us to the apartment and pick us up at the end of our stay and take us back. Would definately book this particular apartment at Atlantic gardens again.

The apartment is great, quiet but an easy walk to everywhere and had everything we wanted. We really liked the really large sunny balcony where we enjoyed sunbathing or an early dinner before going out for a beer. Have already booked again for this year!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Atlantic Gardens. The apartment was comfy and has everything we needed. The complex is great with loads of sunbeds and a great pool bar. Have told our friends to book this apartment and will definately go again ourselves
