We arrived after about a 45 min transfer from the airport to a very nice looking complex. The local area is quite run-down with many buildings half finished probably hit by the recession! The villa is a long way from the main town but as many others have stated, only a cheap e4-5 fare away. There is also a big supermarket which is no more than a 5 min walk from the complex gates.
The villas are all the same, part of a large multi-villa complex and look small from the outside but are very deceiving ...... they are in fact fairly big once inside
We were very pleased with how nice the villa looked but there are a few things that, once there are a day or two, become a little annoying when you consider the price paid for a week. There simply isnt enough provided in the kitchen such as utensils, crockery, saucepans etc and the cooking area has just a hob & a microwave, the small over appliance (which is seperate) isnt very useful other than to maybe grill a bit of bacon
The free wi-fi is very poor ...... being told it works better upstairs doesnt really cut it when it would have been nice to conect to the internet while sunning around the pool, I gave up trying in the end!
The washing machine which is upstairs requires an extention lead, BEWARE! I have never seen such a poor quality lead in my life, it was patched up with tape all along with wire exposed ... this simply wouldnt be acceptable in the UK
The jacuzzi kept short circutting the main fuse box and we had to call reception to ask them why it wasnt working ..... once it does eventually heat up (takes 45-50 mins) its a lovely place to spend an afternoon
The pool isnt heated and was very cold (although we did go in May) ... we had a 1 year old baby and it was too cold for him to go in so we were a little restricted
Would I stay here again? No i dont think so but it wasnt terrible, just a little dissapointing that there appeared to be so many rough edges to a villa that looked almost too good to be true on the advert

The property is beautiful, there was 3 of us staying in his villa for 2 weeks and it was just about big enough. The living room and roof terrace could easily fit 4 people or more but unfortunately the kitchen, bedrooms and pool area were only suitable for 3 people ( my opinion). The pool area was quite slippy when wet and the pool was freezing cold (although this was a god sent on the really hot days). The locks on 2 of the bedrooms didnt work and the only access to them was from the pool area, so i wouldnt recommend this villa to anyone who has small children. Pascal and Sven were amazing on hand to help at any time. A taxi to Main Street (the centre) was roughly 4 euros as the walk into the centre would take at least 45 mins, a taxi 5 mins tops. The complex was immaculate and we couldnt fault it. I would recommend this villa to anyone. I thought the price we paid was a bit expensive £1,800 for the 2 weeks but I would recommend this villa to anyone

We have just returned from 3 lovely weeks at Villa Lolas on the Bahiazul complex. The complex is lovely and peaceful and well maintained. Pascal and Sven went out of their way everyday to be helpful, friendly and approachable-nothing was too much trouble for them-thank you! The restaurant is first class and staff there wonderful and couldnt be nicer-thank you to them also!
The villa is quite a way from the town, which has the bonus of being quiet, but was a good mile and a half walk to supermarket or taxi ride costing about 5 euros. This became quite expensive as we were a family of 6, so needed 2 taxis to travel anywhere. Our favourite beach (Dunes) was too far to walk and taxi cost 7 euros each way- worth it though.
The resort has become much more commercialsed, several smaller businesses have closed and the larger restaurants are quite pushy trying to get you to use them. We visited the smaller town of El Cotillo, by bus, this was much more Spanish and found the best restuarant ever called "Spaghetti" go there if you get a chance! Spain is struggling like the rest of Europe, shopping was a lot more expensive this year-even made home look cheap!
Back to the villa-few things that would have made it even more special for us-
1. A full length mirror (we had 3 daughters in their 20s!) and some drawers in the bedrooms to put undies etc in.
2. An oven-it was difficult to cook with just a hob and microwave-not a problem if you are staying for a week though.
3. More cooking utensils and cooking items, chopping board, serving bowls, cheese grater, more pans, knives, serving spoons, jug for sangria!!- sounds a bit moany, but we have stayed in better equipped villas.
I also dont know how you would manage with small children at the villa because of the bedroom layout-perfect for our older family though.
We had a wonderful holiday and love the island and would recommend staying at Biahiazul without hesitation-thanks to all xx

We just returned from a 10 day stay at Villa Lolas - we arrived home yesterday and immediately re-booked a longer stay at the Villas next year, which speaks for itself.
Pascal and Sven are extremely friendly and helpful and everything is made so easy and pleasant. The villa was FANTASTIC. Exactly as is shown in the pictures. Comfortable, clean, modern, well situated and private. We had such a relaxing time and a great vacation. We have no reservation in very highly recommending this complex and this villa. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, it is close to amenities (we hired a car) but away from the hustle of Corralejo - perfectly situated! 5 minutes in the car to good supermarkets and 10 minutes in the car to the amazing dunes and beaches of Corralejo.
If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful and private place, then this is it. Perfection.....

Just returned from an excellent stay at Villa Lolas and it was far far better than we had imagined. The jacuzzi and pool areas were superb for sunbathing and all rooms immaculate. A good 45 min walk to resort centre but used taxis 1-2 a day and good rates. Pascal took care of everything for us and was very welcoming. I also recommend the restaurant very good food. Overall a great stay and we would love to return one day.

I have just returned from a fortnights holiday in this villa and have to say was very impressed with everything. Would like to thank Pascal and especially Sven for making us feel so welcome and showing us around. Didnt hire a car, no need as taxis cheap and readily available. Ate out of the onsite restaurant a couple of times, food was very good. Would recommend to a friend. Thanks for the lovely time we had here.

It was truly a beautiful villa, spacious, clean and very well equipped providing the privacy and relaxation to unwind. The pool and jacuzzi were a welcome break from the heat we all enjoyed utilising these amenities as well as the BBQ our own little paradise for 2 weeks... I would recommend hiring a car although on several occasions we used taxis into the Town in the evening which were very quick to arrive at the Villa after one phone call to Security/Reception.
All the staff especially Pascal, Sven and Natalia could not of been more helpful, friendly and dedicated in ensuring our stay met our expectations and we would like to thank them very much for that, we would certainly recommend to others.
Owner reply:
Dear Helene,
I appreciate your kind works very much. I have shown this review to Pascal, Sven and Natalia and they were very happy. I hope to see you in the next future again at Bahiazul. Kind Regards, Rachel.

Apart from the fact that we needed to hire a car for the entire stay as the property was quite isolated from any shops or amenities, the property was lovely.
Owner reply:
Thank you for that! I am happy that you enjoyed your stay. Rachel
