A very nice, well equiped villa in a small and quiet gated community with a lovely pool. Desert Springs is absolute heaven and a wonderful get away from it all destination whether or not you take advantage of the fabulous golf course and facilities on hand.

We thought the setting was great, the pool just right for us with a young family and the accommodation fine. Air con fixed unit in one room failed but was repaired promptly by the owner when notified.

The Desert Springs resort is in a good location 10 mins by car to beaches, and makes the most of the surreal desert landscape in the area. We family holiday quite often at high end golf resorts and it compared well - it is certainly different. We visited in high summer and the resort was relatively deserted - and partly thanks to an almost complete pause on further building at the resort at present - blissful peace and quiet.
Needless to say the weather was great! There is a range of local beaches, which are good though not spectacular. At the closest Villaricos end in the north it is quiet and very Spanish, although as one goes down to Mojacar Playa and beyond it gradually gets busier and more touristy. All but voyeurs should avoid Vera Playa for the naturists...
Echo Rock is in an established small community on the resort. The pool is adequate for the houses, and is in the slightly rustic style of the resort. There is a range of Spanish/ English/other nationality owners and guests.
The garden at and all around this house is a delight and is very well maintained. The interior keeps relatively cool and is clean and well appointed. The ceiling fans are very welcome, as is the aircon! The terrace off the upstairs bedroom is indeed enormous, and there are views across to the mountains and golf course greenery from up there.
Other facilities at the resort are good eg tennis, gym. The Crocodile Club, El Torrente at the clubhouse are good though expensive for what they are - but this is expected.
The golf course itself is very good and was very quiet when we were there as are the extensive practice facilities.

Desert Springs has a fantastic location, with beautiful landscapes. IThe house itself is well decorated and has a very nice homey feel. The accommodation is comfortable of very good quality and spotless. The property is very well kept and has everything that a family will need in terms of appliances and furniture. Definitely valule for money!! We recommend it highly.

It was a wonderfully peaceful location convenient for beaches, mountains and a waterpark.
The villa itself was comfortable and well equipped. Our children enjoyed the pool arrangement where they could meet other children. The pool was never crowded.
The staff at the resort were helpful and friendly. There were lots of activities available on the site for those wanting more.

Very nice property, set in a lovely cluster of villas. The pool associated with these villas was rarely used by anyone other than ourselves. The owner has kept us informed continually on everything we needed to know. Would highly recommend this property.

This was our second visit to Desert Springs and I am not even a golfer! My golfing friens thought the course was one of the best they had played. The villa was like home from home with excellent amenities, air conditioning, roof terrace, etc. Overall I would raet the villa and complex as superb.

As we have not had any guest reviews yet we thought we would refer you to an atricle on the Desert Springs Golf course written by Nick Senior from the European Magazine.
