The Grand Vista complex is rather unique near Alicante as it delivers true unobstructed large sea views in combination with a natural reserve kind of environment. The private large garden within the complex is a guarantee for quietness. Add to this the nice weather with an average of 19°c during our stay in Feb. If you plan to rent a house there, watch however, closely the characteristics of the house (e.g. size and location of terrace, quality of internet connectivity,...) as there are six different types of homes in the complex, with major differences. This complex is definitely a perfect place for families as this gated community with a direct opening to the sea offers the adequate children protection, especially during the busy summer months.

We had a really lovely holiday, the villa was comfortable and spotless with excellent facilities. The beach was clean and only a walk or bus ride away and the pools were well maintained. Nice bars close by especially one called Websters.

Firstly, Maria the owner is brilliant. I would recommend booking this property on that fact alone! So helpful and extremely friendly - nothing is too much trouble. The welcome pack touch in the kitchen was much appreciated. The property lived up to expectations - very spacious. Sofas were comfortable and plenty of space to lounge around. Well stocked kitchen with utensils, etc. Free wifi and use of Internet was an unexpected bonus as were flat screen tvs in lounge and two main bedrooms! Just a note for the Brits who are used to American style mattresses the beds are typically hard! The 2 main bedrooms are spacious - the bunk bed room is small but an adult 53 and a very tall 15 yr old slept in here with no problems (in fact these mattresses are softer than the rest!). The property is situated in a lovely area - very short walk to the pools and shop/cafe where hot bread can be purchased each morning. The grounds are beautiful - well tended and great to relax in. In fact the whole complex is beautiful. Gran Alacant is just 10 mins away from the airport but its not on the flight path so no aircraft noise. Its so easy to get to places to visit from this base. Would we return to this property - absolutely! I have no hesitation in recommending this to family and friends.

5 star immaculate fab We stayed for week in late October , part business part holiday with our family. Weather was very hot. Maria was fab , met us at the villa , welcome pack much appreciated after our flight. Gran vista definately one of the better if not best gated complex in the area and very safe. The villa was immaculate with flat screen satellite TV , full internet and even a playstation and games. WE used the patio barbeque a lot as well as sampling excellent local restuarants within walking distance as well as in nearby Santa Pola. Local bus service excellent and on time ( 10mins ) to santa pola and to Alicante so you really dont nead to hire a car. The pool area was fantastic as well as the Tennis. Maria was lovely and really helful to us and our eldest daughters arrangements to work and live in santa pola . I would recommend this villa highly and only wished we stayed longer. Dont hestitate booking this villa if you plan a stay in Santa pola .

We enjoyed our stay at the nice property in Alicante Spain. The property was very well furnished with everything you may need during a vacation. The special welcome start package with fruit, coffee, tea, buscuits and breakfast cereal was very nice and made us feel welcome. At this particular apartment the outdoor area was not as nice as the neighbours, and I would suggest the owners to upgrade an area at the back with tiles etc. to make it more nice to stay outside for barbecue etc. The owners and Marie was very service minded and helpful. It was 10 minutes to walk to the beach, but it was steep slope to follow and a bit of a struggle to walk back from the beach. We found hiring a car to be useful in this area.

We needed a break and a little sun, so we went to Spain! Even after reading their great reviews, we had reservations... you never know... but I must say we were all pleasantly surprised! We were all very happy to find such well equipped home being used as a rental property - computer, wifi connection, plenty of english speaking channels, BBC, ITV etc, a home from home! The property location within the complex has no direct sea views (but cant fault the current garden views, trees and green lawn!) although the views from the complex grounds are absolutely breathtaking! We explored the nearby Spanish mountain villages of Algar, Guadalest... and the lovely sandy beaches in front of the complex. In the evenings we ate out in the terrace and relaxed. We cant wait to go back!

Having read this propertys reviews before we set out I feel theres very little I can add. I would like however, to say that our comfort was met in every way. Contrary to a comment by another guest, there were plenty of heaters at the property (yes, the floors were tiled but what spanish property isnt?) the magnificent bird eye views from the complex meant that we had a 10 minute walk down the hill to the beach (which we did in spite of having a car!) and although there were no sun loungers at the property, the pool area is surrounded by a lovely green lawn. (although Maria did say they were looking to provide a couple of loungers again as they had in past - but found guests took them to the beach and forgot them behind). Overall we were extremely well looked after and we will be recommending this property to friends and family without hesitation

This was definitely the best equipped self-catering property we have stayed in with everything from kitchen appliances, playstation, internet access to a football, cool box and deck chairs. The welcome food pack also had great selec tion to get us settled in. Maria and Mo were wonderful hosts and were so supportive and helpful during the traumatic time of the volcano eruption when we had 2 flights cancelled and didnt know when we would be coming home. It isnt possible to thank them enough. I would just say that anyone going out of season should be prepared for cold weather and chilly nights as the heating options are limited in the property and the tiled floors are quite cold, so slippers would be a good idea: make sure they are non-slip as the stairs could be quite tricky! We had a great time. Thank you for everything.

Lovely spacious property on very secure urbanisation in Gran Alacant. Description of sea view not totally accurate as their is no sea view from the villa. Beach is also a lot further away than on description. (Cardiac hill !) Maria and her husband who own the villa very friendly and proffesssional and look after their guests in an exellent manor. The only grumble we all had was that we had to pay extra for use of electricity at the end of our stay when we personally think that should have been totally inclusive in the cost of the holiday. Also no sunbeds provided to lay on by pool area. Good restaurants near by and very good local transport system.

The owner met us on arrival and departure and was always available if needed (which they werent) The property was accurate in its description and extremely clean and well organised. The estate was very good and the pools were excellent and had lifeguards most of the time. All in all, a very pleasing, relaxed holiday and would definately consider a visit again in the future.

I thought that maria was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable when we got there and continued to make sure that we were all happy with the villa. I thought the Villa was very nice and larger than i thought from the pictures. The facilities there also made the stay very enjoyable as the on site shop was very helpfull with supplies. Overall i think that the stay at Gran vista was very enjoyable i know for a fact that all of my group had a great time and would deffinatly go back there soon!

I cant possibly think of anything else to add to this already well reviewed holiday property. We left with a good idea of what to expect, but when we arrived we found it to be better than we thought. The only thing I would say is that if youre looking to book a property and avoid disappointment on the day of arrival, then this is a good one to go for. Well all be going back for sure.

We had such a good time! At the beach in November? To think that only a few days ago I was sunbathing... I guess, only in Spain. We were very lucky with the weather, not to mention the home we stayed at, and the service provided by the owners. We all had a fantastic time. In general, a holiday to remember and repeat next year, credit crunch or not! Great value for money, thoroughly recommend without reservations.

Maria and her husband could not have made our stay more enjoyable. Arriving late at night the welcome pack was a real treat and allowed us to settle in nicely before venturing out the following day. The Villa itself was superbly equipped, well presented and had a clean and fresh feel to it. It was so welcoming it felt like it was our very own holiday home. Our stay was fantastic the glorious weather was complimented by the superb on site facilities and the lovely beach which was an easy work away. We really did have a fantastic time and I think a great deal of this was due to the warm welcome and caring attitude of Maria and her husband. Thanks again hopefully see you again!!!

We feel so lucky to have found this place! We have been to this area before but just didnt know about this complex. It is far nicer than the one we stayed at last time. Property and service outstanding. Both ourselves and the kids were well seen to as for entertainment and facilities. The house was lovely with more than plenty of space for us all. We had such a good time that we are already planning for next year, count with us Maria!

The house and the complex in which it is situated is very pleasant. The owner of the house was very helpful and made us feel welcome. She also provided us with a substantial welcome pack, which was much appreciated as we arrived on a Sunday evening when all shops were shut. The house its self was clean, well presented and very well equiped. However, dispite all the "gadgets" there was little or no entertainment for you if you only speak English. The satalite TV only had 3 english speaking channels, the radio was broke and we had no CDs (now gone digital) and the computer required a download before it would stream BBC radio. All-in-all we had a very enjoyable holiday at this property and we are considering going back next year.

The property is excellent, clean, very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need to make the stay enjoyable and trouble free. Maria and Mo ensured that everything was in order throughout our stay and kept in touch during our holiday. There was absolutely nothing more we could have asked for. The location of the property is ideal with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. A very short car journey to a beautiful sandy beach and larger shopping centre. The on site facilities are also excellent the children could play and enjoy the pool in a very safe environment. Overall our stay at Gran Vista was superb and was thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family. We look forward to staying again in the future and will definitely recommend to our family and friends.

great holiday great villa 5 star service i would not hesitate to reccomend to friends and family already considering going back next year and i have only been back for a week the only thing i would say is that you definetly need to hire a car unless you want to do a lot of walking. i recomend the chinese restaurant maria 2 for delicious food and excellent value for money. maria was a great host and the villa had everything you could ask for and more. try a day trip to alicante and also the beer house in gran alacant centre for great food and staff.

My family and I have just returned from Gran Vista and found the property exceeded our expectations. The complex is small but beautifully maintained and the house is spotlessly clean. Maria is a joy and is very helpful and informative. We were supplied with a welcome pack which included wine and beer and a huge bowl of fresh fruit. The views over the bay from the house are lovely and you are approx 15mins from Alicante itself. The area of Gran Alacant is still being expanded with quite a few urbanisations being built. However, this did not impact on us in any way. There are a few shops nearby with supermarkets, bars etc within a short drive. The complex does have a small shop where you can buy some essentials.A plus point for us was the gated entrance which gave us a sense of security but the area it'self felt safe but was out of season. The nearest beach is a short drive away. The area is very hilly and although you can see the beach from the complex, it is a rocky drop down and I would not recommend to try to access the beach this way to familes with small children. You would be advised to rent a car at this property. Try the neuvo condomina in Mercia for fab shops and definately the Nan King 2 in Gran Alacant for the best Chinese food and great value for money. All in all we had a great holiday and would recommend Gran Vista to anyone looking for quality accomodation.

Overall we were impressed with the villa, both with the facilities provided and the cleanliness of the villa itelf and the urbanisation in general. However, we were slightly disappointed to find that alot of businesses were closed for the Christmas/New Year holiday period, and therefore we had very limited choices of where to go to eat in the local area. Gran Alacant is made up of several large urbanisations, with a few bars/shops/restaurants dotted inbetween, but the resort is spread out over quite a considerable distance, and therefore you have a long way to walk between restaurants and shops. A couple of times we walked to a restaurant/shop which we had read about, only to find it was closed, and then had a 20-minute walk (or a taxi ride) to the next alternative. I would say that if you are staying at Gran Vista, especially out of the season, a hire car is essential to get around. Otherwise you would spend alot on taxis just to get from A to B. Another point is that the property is advertised to be '2 mins from beach' - however by foot it is a 20 minute walk either down a long hill, or alternatively a 15 minute ankle-spraining walk down the side of the hill (the resort is at the top of the hill, a benefit of this are the fantastic views across to Alicante). Fine if you are prepared for this, but we had two small children with us and tried both ways of getting to the beach and neither was really suitable for us to be honest. But as for the villa iself, as already said above, we were impressed with the place and couldn't fault the facilities/cleanliness.

Absolutely amazing time for us brits! 24C heat in December thats hotter than our British summer! Beer is about €2.20 a pint - roughly £1.50. and its not naff - the quality is outstanding! Try the beer called Mahou! Shopping is much more fun for both the ladies and the gents - a leather jacket I picked up for €80 that over here costs about £140. And its all good quality stuff! The people are very friendly, always give extra and are polite. The landlords for our villa were very helpful and visited whenever we had a problem. They dropped whatever they were doing and came straight over! This place makes you want to live there. Visit Santa Pola for the beach, Alicante for shopping, Benidorm for the tourism thing, Terra Mitica for the theme park, and Gran Alacant (villa location) for fantastic nights out! Recommend the White Rose and Dick Turpins english pub. Thoroughly recommended and will definitely be visiting again - already beginning talks with friends after being home for 3 days! Our holiday couldnt have been more pleasureable, unless you can stop time and let us stay longer!!!

Booking late in the year we werent sure about the area or property. We were pleasantly and greatly surprised. The weather was not wonderful but we still managed to get out most days and the villa was adequately heated. There was plenty to do and see and there was nothing we needed to live in the villa for the week (except some more food and wine). A beautiful 3 bedroomed villa with every convenience, 3 flat screen satellite TVs, 24 hour computer and every facility for a peaceful, restful time. The owners could not have been more helpful and the welcome package was very good. We hope to go back when the weather is warmer!!

We are now in the south of France having rented yet another property for another holiday. With the money we managed to save in hotels, I guess we could allow ourselves... but I must really say that the Gran Vista house was far better, well the best in fact, we've had the luck to find (we have been renting for over 3 years now).We even had a computer with all day internet, and this we haven't seen anywhere else! We were very happy with every aspect of our holiday, even the weather! and we will be returning soon. In this case I really think it's better to stick to what you know. We now wish we'd been able to book a fortnight. Next time for sure!

The property is an excellent base all year round as it is in a great location - 15 mins from the airport and about the same into Alicante itself by car. Fully equipped and well maintained, providing home from home comforts. Perfect for a week in November when more time would be spent indoors as the weather is breaking. Plenty to keep two kids amused with also! Very pleased with choice.

I would definately recommend the property to other people and will hopefully return for a longer stay in the not too distant future. There are a number of bars and restaurants in the vicinity and the piano bar Raffles is well worth a visit.

This was our second visit to GranVista. It was like coming home. The house is ideal for our big family, we were six this time. Mario thougth the children Spanish, and learning with her was just fun all the time, and the children looked forward to each day with her. We walked down to the beach one day and had a splendid day there. Walking back up the hill was no problem for the children (the youngest 8 years old). And we went to Terre Mitica and Terra Natura and spent one day in Alicante. But most of the time we spent at the swimming pool. The area round the house is peaceful and beautiful. Once again, excellent holiday in the nice house at Gran Vista.

The reviews on this property really helped me make up my mind when I booked our holiday back in March. From beginning to end we were all very impressed. The property, the service, the beaches, the sun... We felt lucky to have picked the best one among all the others we were considering. My parents have stayed in 5star hotels with fewer comforts. We have just come back from 10 days holiday. Plan to stay longer next time. The property had every home comfort you could wish for and more(the master bed was very comfortable). As we have three children aged 15, 12 and 13months we couldn't have had a more well aquiped house. Stair gates, cot and high chair. Buckets and spades for the beach. Playstation 2 and games and tv in every room. The pools are very clean with different depths to suit all. There are a few bars and resturants in walking distants and a supermarket but i would recommend a hire car as the beach is to far to walk with a young child, as well as other restaurants. We were out in the car most nights as well as a day trip to Alicante (well worth the visit). Maria and Mo were very helpfull and easy to contact throught the holiday for advice on places to visit etc no questions where to big or small for them.

Our short break in Spain was well worth it! It usually takes us longer to get to London to visit family and friends than it took us to get to Gran Vista in Alicante. Convenience, good value and great service made all the difference. We can’t wait to pack our suitcases again, next time for a longer stay!

Beautiful property in a very well maintained landscaped urbanization. Great swimming pools and well stocked little shop. The area is very quiet but the property is not at all soundproofed and therefore every noise can be heard from your neighbours. This would not be a problem with older children but it would if your children were very young. Our hosts were very attentive and phoned on a regular basis to check how we were getting on. The house was full of everything you would need for a great holiday, buckets, spades, tents, shopping trolleys etc etc. Overall a great base for exploration, very handy to the airport, very quiet and clean.

We had a wonderful holiday, Maria is so nice and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! We would certainly recommend to our friends and we would also return ourselves! The house was lovely, with all the comforts of home and more besides! Lots of extras that made our holiday so much more comfortable than the usual holiday accomodation. Many thanks Maria, we hope to see you next year. Sue, Paul, Ben, Jasmin & Leonie.

We were very happy with the property and its location. Maria and Mo were very helpful and encouraging when it came to us venturing out for the first time in a hired car. The service we received from Maria and Mo exceeded some of the best hotels. We enjoyed our holiday so much that we are planning a return visit next year.

We couldn't´t have hoped for a better place to stay. Online booking was easy and convenient. All my emails were replied to very quickly, and to receive a phone call from Maria before we even left the UK (telling us we are ready for your arrival!) was all the peace of mind we needed! The property. the area, and the service, everything quite simply faultless. We had such a great time! Sure to repeat it again soon. Thank you Maria & Mo for making us feel so welcome.

We wasnt sure what to expect as this is the first time we have rented a private villa, but we were very impressed. The villa was beautiful, well looked after and had everything home from home. The surrounding area was lovely and quiet, the pools nice and we had a fab few nights at the Crazy Daisy's Karaoke. All in all we had a fab time and will definately be back next year for our annual girls away break!! Thanks to Mo and Maria for all their help and kindness. Cathy, Kim, Diane & Hayley x

This is our second time in this villa and defiantly will not be the last. The Villa had everything you could ask for and more, maybe too nice for renting out, the beach was not to far just a short nice walk from the villa. We loved the pool very warm spent a lot of time doing hand stands in it. You may want a car if you wish to explore the Costa Blanca but we found the bus is fine for us especially we just want to relax and enjoy the sun. Thank you

"We had an excellent vacation. The villa did exceed our expectation. It is well maintained. This is the first time I rented a villa, however, this time we planned a family gathering and decided to stay all together and it was a big success. It gives you a feeling of being home away from home. We all had a great time especially the kids had a blast, T.V. in all rooms; however, the kids were so entertained that they hardly had the time to watch TV. also have one telephone upstairs in the master room. I would definitely return back to this villa and would also highly recommend it to all my friends. To the owner Maria, who was very attentive, Thank you very much to rent us your beautiful villa."

I am not one to bother with reviews, but I felt this property really deserved my time. It’s surely one of the best on this website, if not in the entire area – and we have stayed at a few! The property itself exceeded our expectations with absolutely everything you could possibly need – even a computer with internet and all! Gardens, swimming pools and facilities an added bonus. A car is recommended, but not necessarily a “must” as the nearby facilities are quite good. We for one just wanted a lazy relaxing holiday and Gran Vista offered us just what we needed. Highly recommendable.

Will be back next year as this summer is already fully booked! Now I understand why! Would recommend it without hesitation.

Sun, glorious sun! The weather was fantastic! Our one week holiday at Gran Vista just flew by, but we are already planning to return next year. The house is just lovely! Spacious, comfortable and with plenty of natural light. The grounds are impressive and the views… Amazing! The ideal location of the complex allowed us to do a bit of everything and even explore the surrounding traditional Spanish areas. In short, a great holiday! Would definitely recommend it.

Maria and Mohammad were excellent hosts to their lovely property at Gran Vista.. They were on call to dealwith any problems and were very friendly.. The villa met all our requirements - it was light, clean and well equiped to meet all eventualities. The complex has plenty of open areas, which appears to be lacking on many other urbanizations ! We enjoyed our 4 week winter break at Gran Vista and would not hesitate to recomend the villa to friends and family.. Thank you Maria and Mohammad for making us welcome.. Alan & Angela Saywell

Our one week holiday at Gran Vista was perfect. The house has everything we needed, spacious and nice. The welcome package was very much appriciated, good to have some fruits and drinks when you arrive late. Very useful to have the computer and the Internet connection. The area is children friendly, the gardens, the swimming pools and the tennis courts were used a lot. We also enjoyed to go to the beach (5 minutes by car). The friendly service and warm hospitality of Maria and Mo was much more than we expected. We hope to be soon back again.

Maria was a great host, very friendly and happy to offer assistance. The house is lovely and contained pretty much everything we needed. The house is situated inside a gated urbanisation with beautiful grounds. It is a good place to have a quiet holiday relaxing. There is a supermarket, other shops and the beach within walking distance but we recommend hiring a car to reach other towns and attractions as the area is also quite hilly.

What a great find. We had a smashing holiday at Gran Vista. The apartment is excellent and the swimming pool & facilities are great. We would suggest a hire car is definitley needed as the local facilities aren't that great. There's a few decent restaurants locally but you might wish to cast your net wider. Overall an ideal place for a family holiday i would say.

We were met by our hosts Maria and Mo on our arrival who were more than gracious with advice and help. The welcome pack was lovely and just what we needed to start our holiday. The house was everything and more that we needed and we felt like we were home from home. Our family is made up of 5 children ranging in ages from 15down to 8 and 2 adults. We had more than enough room and the facilities at the complex were second to none. We have had many holidays in various destinations but this holiday was a different kind of holiday. It was peaceful and restful for the adults and the children had a ball. We did not want to leave and regretted not taking a fortnight instead of a week. If you want busy then hire a car, otherwise ideal holiday for peace and enjoyment of the local area. Would definately love to come back. Thankyou

This is our second year coming to the property, and again the house is spotlessly clean with a generous welcome pack waiting for our arrival, which was very much appreciated. Maria & Mo are lovely hosts who care very much about the guests well being and safety. They are alway on hand with ideas and helpfull hints on some of the lovely places to visit eg. La fonts de l'algar (The water falls). We all had a fantastic day up in the mountains swimming in the fresh water that cascades down the mountain. We would like to thank them both for their support regarding our medical dilema, thanks for the cranberry Maria! The other pool was open this year and was maintained to a very high standard, Lifeguard also included which was again very reasuring when your teenage children wants to hang out on their own and not with parents! We would love to come back next year because this is a lovely house with lovely hosts, however are fully booked so will be looking for 2008 Thanks again Maria & Mo.

When we arrived at the property, we were greeted by Maria and Mo who gave us unlimited information, not only on the property but the local area and theme parks! The property was outstanding. We are a large family of six and found the space provided a breath of fresh air. The complex was beautiful, with wonderful pools for all of our children, aged 4 to 14, which included a diving pool for the eldest. We have never stayed in such a well managed, clean property and will definately be coming back. The surrounding area has some wonderful restaurants and beaches, which if you hire a car you can visit a different one every day!! Many thanks Maria and Mo we truly had a fantastic holiday and this was down to you two being so welcoming.

We hoped for a relaxing hassle free stay and that is exactly what we got. Maria and Mo were very thorough with a full guided tour of the property which more than met our expectations. The welcolme pack was very generous ( cold beer included!) and the property proved to be a home from home with all mod cons making life easier. (Dishwasher and internet proved very useful indeed.) Site /pools are beautiful and very well maintained. We had no car but found the buses frequent and timely. Walk up "cardiac hill" was enough to bring on a sweat ;but it really is not as bad as some suggest. Our 2 kids (ages 5 /6) did not sit down during a six hour stint on the beach and then walked back up the hill without any difficulty or complaining. Recommed a trip to the local market. Lots of bargins to be had! Local restaurants offered good food and good service. Were were so impressed with the property etc we have booked for next year already. All toghether a very enjoyable holiday. Looking forward to next year already. A big thankyou to Mo and Maria for all their friendly help and assistance.

We found everything and more we needed in the property (even a cool box to take to the beach!!). The property was spotless on arrival, with a very generous welcome pack. Maria and her husband were extremely welcoming, very helpful and more than concerned for our comfort and wellbeing! Although a car is not essential, it is advisable as the beach is not very accessible on foot, but we found plenty of areas to park by the beach. We have rented properties before in Spain, this property is by far the best in terms of size, facilities, cleanliness and nearby amenities. We can not sing the praises highly enough. If we ever return to this wonderful part of Spain, we will certainly look forward to staying at Gran Vista again.Thank you both very much.

We were very pleased with the property and personalized care by very attentive host. The location was excellent, both security and facilities of the subdivision as well as proximity to the beach and the town (Alicant). House was very well equipped and it matched description provided. I would recommend it to all of my friends and I am sure they would be pleased as we were. I hope to return there some other time, perhaps for a longer stay, as it is far away for us and traveling can be difficult. It was very good value for the money we spend. Thanks.

PROPERTY WAS LOVELY AND MARIA WAS AN EXCEPTIONAL HOST. WE DIDNT HOWEVER LIKE THE SURROUNDING AREA AND FOUND THAT THERE WASNT ENOUGH THERE FOR US, UNLESS A CAR IS HIRED THEN YOU ARE MORE OR LESS STUCK ON THE GRAN VISTA SITE

Owner reply:
The property is located in a lively seaside area. Strategically located in the middle of the Costa Blanca, Alicante is one of Spain’s most popular holiday destinations. As listed on our website, there are plenty of things to do both locally and in the surrounding areas. Swimming pools and great beaches with all sorts of water sports from sailing, parasailing, water & jet skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving, boat hire and fishing. Also walking & cycling routes, climbing, bird watching, horse riding, tennis, golf, boat trips, amusement/rides parks, aqua parks, safari and dinner/show. A 20 minute drive inland will take into rural Spain, mountains, waterfalls and rural villages. In Alicante city (15 mins drive) there is everything you would expect to find in a city from its Castle and old town to shopping centres, traditional Spanish restaurants, nightclubs, theatres, amusements arcades, cinemas, bowling, museums and historical sites.

Just outside the urbanization, various commercial areas have been set up to service the ever growing residential and holiday community; restaurants & coffee bars (with terrazas for outdoor dining) supermarkets, banks, beach shops, car rental offices, nursery, hairdressers, doctors & dentist surgeries, pharmacy, post office, internet café, etc…

Although we do recommend that our guests rent a car for freedom of travel, convenience and increased choice of activities, we do realise that some of our guests wanted nothing more than to enjoy the weather and have a quiet relaxing holiday at the pool side.

For the convenience of our guests and as part of the full service that we provide, not only do we offer recommendations, but we also insist that our guests feel free to contact us should they require our help or even advice. At our rental property, we have a home PC with 24 hr broadband internet connection - with already set up links to tourist information websites in a variety of languages – www.comunitatvalenciana.com . We also provide all sorts of leaflet material and maps to local attractions. With such an array of activities and information available on our website and at the property itself, we can only hope that our guests make an informed choice as to what best suits their tastes and holiday needs.

The property was very well equipped, and nicely located for the quiet, relaxing holiday we were looking for. It was very clean and well maintained, and had a perfectly good air-con system. We couldn't fault the property, or the warm welcome we received there. We stayed at the property at the beginning of June, so not quite full season. The urbanization itself was nice and quiet, with a nice, uncrowded pool. The on-site mini-market provides more or less anything you need if you can't be bothered to leave the urbanization for your food. Outside of the urbanization there are a few places to eat and drink, though these are all very English, so if you're looking for local cuisine, you might have to go slightly further afield. Nevertheless, the restuarants near the house are very nice. I would recommend that anyone staying at the urbanization hire a car. There is plenty of space for parking, and a car would make a big difference in being able to get around while there.

The welcome pack is without doubt the most generous we have ever received. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding areas and to have the luxury of a beautiful beach just a few minutes drive from the villa meant we could alternate between that and days at the pools. The gardens of the urbanization are magnificent and the scenery breathtaking. The tennis courts were impressive too. The owners were so helpful and welcoming and stressed that we could contact them at any time if we needed help or assistance. We have passed on the link to this wonderful villa to many friends without any hesitation. We have all vowed to return again. Thanks Maria and Mo for providing us with such a wonderful place to stay. The property was very pleasant and clean. The welcome pack was very good and the owners were very helpful when needed. I was extremely disappointed to find the main swimming pool closed due to leakage, and has been for the last 8 months, this really should have been mentioned to me when I booked as the photos shown advertising your villa show this pool in use. I was also disappointed with the location of the beach, as on the website it says the property is right next to the beach? I find it hard to accept this as it's a 30 min walk down a very steep hill and walking back would be extremely tiring. Apart from this we had a very enjoyable holiday and would have definately have come back had the property been within easy walking distance of the beach.

Owner reply:
The urbanization currently disposes of 3 other fully functional swimming pools. Community Management informed us that the swimming pool is undergoing repairs.
The urbanization is on a top of a hill. The Dunes area and beach in front of the complex is a Nature Reserve, clear of properties etc. The beach is a 2 min drive down the hill.

Excellent location for family. Property equipped to a very high standard and located in a mature, gated urbanization making it feel like a friendly community, yet located close to local amenities. Owners live on site and provided a service way beyond expectations in terms of practical assistance when needed. However they also went way beyond this in making us feel welcome and helping us to get to know the area and get the maximum out of our holiday.
