MY WIFE AND I STAYED IN THIS PROPERTY FROM THE 5th - 12th NOVEMBER 2011. ALTHOUGH IT WAS LATER IN THE YEAR , THE WEATHER WAS WARM AND SUNNY AND THERE WAS A LOT OF BARS AND RESTAURANTS TO CHOOSE FROM, ALL WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE . THE PROPERTY WAS PERFECT FOR OUR NEEDS AND THE LOCATION IS GREAT .ALL IN ALL , IT DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN !!!!!!!!!!!!

We all enjoyed our holiday at this villa. Good location and easy access to N332 and only 5 mins drive to the local beach which was quiet and uncommercialised. We visited many of the bars and restaurants locally and were spoilt for choice. We enjoyed the sun on the roof top solarium and at other times enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the conservatory with its stunning views especially at night. We found it excellent value for money and would definitely recommend it our friends. We hope to return again next year

We found this villa the perfect place to relax especially on the roof top solarium which was great for sunbathing. The villa was very clean and we were well looked after. The location was great, quiet, privqte and easily accessible to shops and restaurants. Lovely communal pool which was 1 min walk away from the villa. Will definitely come back again.

We had a really good time,could not fault anything,villa is near the bars,swimming pool,there was a train that runs down the road from us which takes you to the supermarkets and some other bars,the kids loved it was only 3 euro return for adults and 2 euro for children.We went in august so was very hot but having the aircon was great help.we cannot wait to book for next year hopefully for 3 weeks.A big thank you to leja who picked us up from the airport and dro pped us back.Very friendly and helpful people.

We found this villa to be excellent value for money. The villa was comfortable and had everything we needed especially Air Conditioning which we used on very hot days. It was a bonus having the pool, restaurants and shops within a mi nutes walk which enabled us to have a very relaxing holiday. I would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends.

We stay here at least twice a year, love the position of the villa and the area, definately need a car to get around, unless you just like to sunbathe all day. Villa very clean and quiet, very friendly neighbours. Lovely communal pool, and close to all ammenities

The property was incredibly hot and uncomfortable, due to the lack of air conditioning. The bathroom unfortunately smelt like a public urinal. I wasnt quite sure if this was due to the bathroom floor tiles and grouting being damaged, or the bathroom needing a thorough good clean!. In this modern day world of gadgetry washing up morning, noon and some evenings is not my idea of a holiday. Why was there no dishwasher? Finally I do not see the point of having an iron without and ironing board.

I was disappointed to read your rather negative review, however it is in a minority, most are overwhelmingly positive. I accept that air conditioning is needed in the months of July and August and am currently looking into having this installed for 2010. However, your other comments are most assuredly undeserved:
- Firstly, you knew when booking that there was no dishwasher so there is no point in whingeing about it after the event.
- Secondly, the iron/ironing board are listed on the facilities inventory, so you should have contacted the onsite rep for assistance in the first instance.
- Similar re the bathroom, any problems, the rep would have been more than happy to assist. It seems that you are not a suitable person for this type of holiday so I presume that you wont be booking the villa again.

The property was well equiped and close to all local shops, bars and restaurants. Quite area, with pool close by. Definately needed air conditioning, kids had to sleep upstairs on the terrace to try and stay cool.

Thanks Dawn for your Review. Yes it was exceprionally hot in July this year reaching the late 30s. There is an enclosed conservatory on the Terrace which is cooler in the evenings and at night. Maura

CLOSE TO AMENITIES (SHOPS/GOOD RESRAUNTS). EXCELLENT POOL.
DOES NEED AIR CON WAS VERY HOT WHEN WE WERE THERE (JULY 09).

We visited La Marina in early July. Mauras three bedroom villa was perfect for us - a family with three young children. It was clean and fully equipped as promised (although bring your own DVD player and/or sound system if you are so inclined) and perfectly placed for the pool and supermarkets. It was too hot for al fresco dining on the roof terrace, but it was lovely to sit on the porch in the evening and enjoy a cerveza or sangria. The beach is a car ride away ( there is a car port at the villa) but, although the beach is very quiet and uncommercialised, my children preferred the pool. There are many bars and restaurants locally worth trying so you can get away without a car, but I would recommend one so that you can explore the local areas. Benidorm is an hour away (recommend Terra Mitica and Terra Natura), Valencia is two hours north (beautiful, cultural and the "real Spain") and Torrevieja is 20 mins south (lovely shops, beach and a funfair in the evening for the kiddies). Or you could just stay put, do nothing and enjoy the warmth. Overall, excellent value for money and you can make this villa a base for any type of holiday.

We were delighted with Maura's Villa.It met all our expectations and more. The villa is very well equipped and very clean. The house itself is lovely.The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker, microvave & washing machine and it has all thel utensils required for cooking. There's a lovely lounge/dining room aand three good bedrooms.
The sun roof was a special favourite. We enjoyed the seclusion offered and spent many hours soaking up the sun on the sun loungers. The solarium was ideal for the cooler March evenings. The satellite tv (when we had time to watch it) was excellent for watching our favourite programmes from back home.
The villa is located in a very quiet,well kept area
within easy walking distance from shops,supermarket,restaurants,bars , church and market (Thursdays and Sundays)
The local beach (just a short drive away) is lovely
We stayed for just a week. We would have liked to have stayed longer and wiil definitely be back sometime soon for a much longer stay.

A lovely property,clean neat and compact, and having 3 bedrooms was great for us as a family of 4, placed in a vry quiet postion. We especially liked the solarium, where we ate most of our meals "alfresco". It was good to have the sat TV as we didn't always want to go out in the evening,however when we did there were plenty of local resturants/bars within a minutes walk. We visited the local icecream parlour many times and also the consum supermarket. Once we'd got the general layout of the area we visited some of the other shops and the market that came to the Urbanisation.
We also went to many of the local beaches,but you would need a car to get to any beaches as they are not within walking distance. The pool is very handy though and kept really nicely and we used that everyday. All in all a very successful and happy place to stay.

This villa is excellent value for money. It is in the perfect location for a family holiday, with the pool, shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. It is also within easy reach of the bigger towns and local beaches. The villa itself is very comfortable and met all of our requirements. We were very impressed with the booking procedures and how easy it was to make the arragements for arrival/departure, totally stress free.
We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be coming back. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to friends and family.

First stay here in the winter months, villa was warm and cosy, weather was also very warm, person who looks after villa also made sure beds were aired. would recommend for a short winter break

The villa was very comfortable with shops and restaurants nearby. Kitchen and facilities were excellent and the roof terrace was great for sun bathing and BBQs.

GOOD LOCATION, SHOPS HANDY,
BEACHES GREAT. SHARED SWIMMING POOL
HANDY TO COOL OFF.
VILLA HAD PLENTY OF ROOM, UPSTAIRS SUN PATIO A BIG BONUS.
THE ONLY MINOR COMPLAINT WAS THE AIR CONDITIONING, THE CEILING FANS NOT STRONG ENOUGH FOR THE SPANISH SUMMERS BUT ON THE WHOLE AN EXCELLANT PROPERTY AND I HAVE RECOMMENDED IT TO FRIENDS.

Our family loved Maura's villa. It was very spacious and had all the home comforts we needed. The sun terraces were lovely and the local shops had everything we needed.
The boys loved to chill out in the pool and the local icecream parlour was fabulous. All in all a great holiday, thanks.

Swimming pool a bonus; Lovely and clean, generally well equipped.
Plenty of facilities around.
Instructions to find it need some work! and the satellite system needs a cable amplifier as the picture often drops out.
Really enjoyed it.

We couldn't get over Maura's villa in La Marina.
It was extremely clean and bright. We thoroughly enjoyed the sun roof, the patio for our breakfast and lunch, ample space for ourselves and our friends to sleep, a spacious bathroom with a comfortable sitting room/dining room for our evening meals. The fully equiped kitchen allowed us to cook as at home - cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster etc, - when we wanted to. Being able to take care of our laundry needs with a washing machine was very handy. 5 minutes drive to the Mediterranean Sea, easy walking access to the Supermarket, Restaurants and Swimming Pool made our holiday very easy and relaxing. We'll be back!

Feargus says: "My girlfriend and I stayed in this villa for a week in May. It was very well furnished and really open and spacious, with a fully fitted kitchen. Satellite TV was great too, and the ceiling fans helped to make the villa very comfortable. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby offering all types of cuisine, also a beautiful communal swimming pool, and the beach is only 5 minutes drive away. We were very impressed with the villa and the area and found it to be brilliant value at only £300 for the week. Would definitely return next year. Highly recommended!"
